Okay, I have no kids so probably have no knowledge but I was thinking this.

Why not get a calender and tell him to write down on the calendar everytime he thinks your yelling at him. Maybe then if he says you yell at him you can pull out the calendar and ask him to show you which days he believes you were yelling. Maybe then he'll see by his own handwriting that you were not yelling as much as he thinks.

Like I say I don't have kids but I was thinking that maybe if you can show there were no days you were yelling it might help.
