I don't have any advice except don't give the poster below "divorce" the time of day. I read the posts earlier today and I got aggravated too, even wanted to give them my 2 cents. You have to do what you have to do. Nobody knows what you've gone through in your marriage. You sound like a smart person and a good mom. I hope you can reach your son and figure out what's going on with him. There was a time in my life when my parents separated, I was 16. I WANTED them to separate, and after it happened, deep down I was sad about it. They got back together and are still together (I'm 37 now). Maybe there is a slight little chance that your son might be a little sad about it. But I understand about him trying to get away with more without dad being around. My kids are like that with me. It's tough, especially when you are going through something lik you're going through.
