I am like its Godmother, not adoptive mother- the dog is out of state from me about 125 miles and I go there occasionally- have family there I visit and my hometown. Animals in my neighborhood not allowed to run free- I have indoor cats- the dog is a love and I am not afraid of the dog but the dog belongs to the druggie who was thrown out of his apt and the mother (my friend) took over the dog because druggies new apt did not allow animals. He does not keep the dog up (he is licensed plumber)and I know if he works, he can make more than me but I have started to resent the fact she tries to hit me up for the ole woe doggie bit and I have told her to tell her son to take care of the dog. I told her if no money, give the dog away to good home. I am not unhappy that I paid for the dogs surgery but now they need to keep the rest up.
