All day long I type reports on kids having all these expensive procedures, psychiatric care, special services, etc. And it's not hard to read between the lines when the doc describes the Social History, to see that most of them are not here legally.

Do not register. If people ask about bringing something leave it up to them or just say all you want is their company. It is really in bad taste to register for gifts in this instance. I have never been invited to a housewarming where people told us they were registered or asked for gifts. I bring a bottle of nice wine in a wine bag or a bunch of pretty flowers for the house and have never felt out of place with that. Just MHO.
i would take this opportunity to educate your teenager and her friends sm
on cycles and ovulation. you can only get pregnant during ovulation, which is usually 10-14 days after they start that time of the month. educate them at least and give them info to research and educate themselves. of course abstinence or protection is best, but education is better compared to kids having kids too.
So glad you had the opportunity to make amends
with your sister. My brother and I were on the outs for a while but have since made up. I still don't agree with most of the things he does or doesn't do but at least there will be some peace of mind if something should happen to him.
not a kitty, but i take any opportunity to share my babies
Dont know what's wrong with Gary but hope he's okay :)

I miss my pups very very much. I am in South Carolina for a few months and they are back home with "daddy" in Nevada. I seriously miss them tremendously...

What you describe is beautiful! Every child should have the opportunity
to grow up in such an environment, and also grandmothers.
It's all about love and compromising.
