I remember when my sisters and I would ride our bikes up and down our street, through the neighborhood, etc. Now I'm afraid my some day children won't be able to do that, basically have to stay RIGHT outside the house with me watching you know? It's too bad that we have to be SO aware, but like you said, why take the chance! Especially with locking doors...
