I am sick and tired of people talking crap about Pit Bulls when 9 times out of 10, they've never even been around one. ANY dog can bite, it's just the big dogs like Pits, Rotts, etc. get all the press because SMALL dogs don't make GOOD NEWS!!! I was mauled by a 30 pound Dachshund mix that was a FAMILY pet, had to go to the hospital, and do you think any reporters were around for that crap? NO! But do I hate Dachshunds? Um, no.

Do you mind backing up these statements with something we could look up for reference? Because I'm tired of hearing the Pit Bull haters talk about "this guy" or "that guy" who got attacked by a "family" pet and we never know if it's true or not.
No, I'm not even going to try to convince the haters out there to love this dog...ignorant people should just plain stay away from this breed anyway, they've done enough damage. But for the people out there who are true dog lovers (not people who KILL innocent animals because of there breed), just don't believe all the hype. I have a great dog who wouldn't hurt anyone.
