you are missing my point. I agree that thank you notes are appropriate when given a gift and I do use them myself. But if I get mad because I didn't get a thank you note from a gift that I have given, then what was my motive for giving the gift? I have felt miffed at times when I didn't get a thank you note and then the Lord showed me that my heart was not right in the giving. I'm not condoning bad manners, I'm just not able to control what others do and so why get mad about it?
