economy in the sense that it's causing problems in other sectors. MTSO's always were (and I think still are) in a good, recession-proof business. But of course, due to GREED, many are using the hard times as an excuse to cut MT pay, since 'everyone else is doing it'. A 70% pay cut for VR (which may be less hands-on typing, but requires just as much skill to do) is pathetic. It tells you a lot about where the hearts and minds of most MTSOs are these days -- in their own fat wallets. Doesn't matter how many 'little people' get stepped on, either, as long as they make those nice, cushy, 6-figure salaries.

If this country doesn't do something to stop the hemorrhaging of American jobs to other countries, instead of taking care of its own first, then we're well on our way to becoming 'Third World', ourselves. Then we'll be begging China or Uganda or Philippines to send us their unwanted jobs.
