What I know is this....I type for gastric bypass surgeons and my daughter works for them and at first my daughter wanted this surgery and I said no....not until you make a good effort which you don't.  She has worked there 2 years nearly and has lost 30 pounds on her own (has much more to lose too) and so she now sees it CAN BE DONE without surgery.

What galls me about these surgeons who *specialize* in bariatric surgery is that all the reports say that the patient has tried multiple conservative methods of weight lost but has been unsuccessful with these methods.

My feeling is....is that they diet/try these methods for 3 days and that's it.....when they do it for weeks and weeks, THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL because I DID IT and I KNOW firsthand.

If I inspired anyone, that's great - don't look at the huge number - look at 10-20 or even 5-10...I think that looking at the BIG number, we tend to sabotage ourselves.....

GOOD LUCK - IF I CAN DO IT, I THINK ANYONE CAN!!  I still have 30-40 to go but I'm no longer *morbidly obese* and that's a good thing, I feel better, still have my diagnoses....so maybe if I drop the last 30-40.....some of them will disappear...*fingers crossed in hope*

You'll do it.....just put your mind to it.....
