heartless thing I've ever heard. You make it very clear she may see you if it's on your terms and tell her your not giving out your information, yet you don't understand why she gets upset. You're not the least bit excited or happy to meet her. She's probably just very devasted because she thought when she found her birth mother, she might be a wonderful person who would love her and welcome her with open arms.

Maybe she had a horrible life, maybe she was abused and/or molested, never fit in, whatever. Maybe she's spent years thinking it'll all be better when she finds her birth mom.

Try to let her down easy. Just be frank and tell her you're not the person she was hoping to find and she truly was better off without you.
