DQS gripes

Its me too. I have been told we dont get paid for the demographics page, so if doctors dont put in the pt's name or incorrect ID number and we have to search and retype the correct one, we are not getting paid for any of that. Plus many times my doctors names and credentials (D.O. not M.D.) are typed in wrong, so I have to type in the correct information. We do not get paid for this. It takes me sometimes up to three minutes, maybe even more to search a pts name, type in a correct doctors name or credentials, etc. My pay is about the same cause I have been working harder and longer hours. It is quite obvious that the DQS program was not written by medical transcriptionists or written to be Transcriptionist friendly.
