for a different reason. There was this very verbally abusive doctor our MT service had as a client, that began almost every report with this long tirade about what idiots ALL MTs were, how we were lacking chromosomes, should be paid less, etc. etc. It really grated on everyone that had to type his reports. Complaints went in one ear and out the other, and our boss would do nothing about it. Finally, one night I was doing report after report by this pompous a$$, and on the last report, he began it with lots of cussing, and then telling me a chimpanzee could do a better job, etc. Then he literally SCREAMED, "I want this report verbatim! Do you UNDERSTAND me, you retarded twit? VER-BATIM!" Well, that night he got his wish, and I put EVERYTHING in it, including the cuss-words, the part about the chimpanzee, EVERYTHING. And some patient got a pretty darned colorful discharge summary.
Did I get in trouble? YES.
And did the doctor get in trouble? YES.
So was it worth it? YESSSSSSS!!! ;D
