I also wish I had been homeschooled (sm)

If I had, I might have finished high school. As it was, I was too scared to go to school so I quit and, in my eyes, my parents did not care enough about me to choose to homeschool. I homeschooled my kids for a while and loved every minute of it, but they missed their friends and my son is special needs, and I had to go back to work, so it was best all the way around they go back in public school, but I wish they had not honestly. I see both sides, but what I do not see is why some people feel the need to be rude about it. It is your decision in the end. I would at least try it for a while:) Good luck!! I thought being with my kids all that much more would drive me nuts, but we actually grew a lot closer!!

I homeschooled my kids for a couple
months, but my son is also special needs and I did not feel adequate to teach him. That is the only reason they are back in PS. Otherwise, I would still be homeschooling them. If I were you, I would Google the words homeschool and the state you live in as every state has different laws. Some states you just about have to be a teacher (accredited) before you can homeschool. Good luck!! I would not have traded my exp with my kids for anything. I thought they would drive me nuts, but we got very close and I miss them every day!
