 the reasons why first.  This is a very important time of development (I know many people disagree with this, but not everybody), a time when kids learn to be someplace on time, get along with peers and superiors that they may not mesh with, and I could go on and on.  Also, are you equipped  to teach advanced science and math classes?  Is this consideration on the table because you think your child will learn more at home, is the school situation bad  (maybe you can change to another school), or are you trying to solve a problem by just removing the child from the situation  rather than dealing with it?
