I truly resent your "holier than thou" referral to medical transcription as not being a "real profession". Just who do you think you are? This is truly a learned skill that you CANNOT just throw a "typist" into. It takes years of learning to be able just to transcribe acute care, let alone all the other branches of medicine. After 25 years of transcription, I don't have to work either, but I love the profession and continue to work. You obviously aren't a compassionate person with this attitude. For some women, it is the only "REAL SKILL" they have. Shame on you is all I can say.
