 If it's IV iron...DO IT!!!
I had less than 0 ferritin, but hemoglobin of 9, which isn't too bad. I had 5 IV iron treatments and felt...and still feel...like a new person. After the 1st treatment, I was soooo much better. I would highly recommend it if it's offered to you as a treatment. And don't let the *IV* spook you...like it did me...it's more like a blood draw with a butterfly than an actual digging-in-the-veins IV...good luck!

 Novasure
It is an endometrial ablation procedure to decrease bleeding - your GYN should have a pamphlet on it.  Just read about it.
 NovaSure
Was it a difficult decision for you to have the NovaSure procedure done?  You have to be absolutely sure that you do not want to have any more children before you have it because of the nature of the procedure.  I am sure that I don't want any more children, but it is difficult for me to "destroy" my fertility.  I had two miscarriages prior to the birth of my two boys.  I guess it is hard for me to "move on" from this part of my life.  When I was a child, I had all of these dreams of getting married and having a family - - never a thought about "and then what?".  I think that affects a lot of women.  Anyway, it is difficult for me to decide to do it because I place such value on the ability to have children.  There was a time I was not sure if I would ever have a successful pregnancy.  Not having a period hardly at all sounds great though!!!
