Hi everyone... how can I obtain some CMT prep workbooks, CDs, etc?  I bought the self-assessment tool of 60 questions ... but I'd like to follow-up on this.  Any leads for me ?   Thanks !  Jojo

Recommendations of Helpful Reference Materials?

Hi, I am just starting out in this field and would like to hear what reference material people find as necessary to have.

Also are there any special materials that would be helpful for plastic surgery?

Recommendations would be so helpful for me so i can decide what i should buy.

Thanks

Renee

Does anyone know of a place for online education or materials I can use at home for my second grader
My second grader is really struggling through the end of school. I want to work with her over the summer so she is prepared for third grade. Our school district will only provide summer tutoring if the child has actually flunked. I am trying to prevent her from flunking. She is a B-C student and I want to help her maintain or acheive better than that. Her older sister is a straight A student, but I know every child is different. I am not trying to make her a straight A student, I just want her to get as much out of her lessons as possible. Does anyone know of a virtual learning site that will provide me with the correct materials to teach her over the summer? We live in a small town in the country in Ohio and we have no tutoring available unless i driver her about 50 miles one way! Thanks for any help!
It's not like it's all that expensive to prep either.
Just $5 a week dedicated to food storage adds up to a good prep supply in no time. 2 cans of tuna and a bag of rice and beans one week, powdered milk and a canned ham the next, etc. Water is free when you store it in 2-liter pop bottles, and relatively inexpensive if you buy gallon jugs at the store. An oil lamp is about $10 at WalMart, and 1 bottle of lamp oil is a couple of bucks. The DGIs (don't get its) are idiots and I absolutely abhor my tax dollars being spent on them. Of course, the elderly and infirm I begrudge nothing. I just wish they could be the only ones we had to spend money on.
RMT Prep/Oak Horizons
Does anyone have any experience with these courses. They cost $75.00 and last a month. Do I need these sample questions? Are they helpful?

OR

Do you think by current texts the the RMT review guide and BOS workbook is all I need?

Thanks in advance.
The prep is worse than the procedure, believe me. nm

Prep is definitely the worst part!
My gastroenterologist had me take Fleets Phosphosoda, which you can buy at your local drug store. Worked great and absolutely no cramping whatsoever. I told him I wanted to be put under and he ordered Ditropan, which worked awesome! I woke up feeling great and ready to go back to work! I have had two colonoscopies done and would not hesitate to have another one done if I needed to.

I use an alcohol prep pad to clean the dirt off &
the corner of the packet it comes in I slide between the keys all around and I get these big dust bunnies that I just pull out with my fingers.  I also turn it upside down and shake it once in a while too.
clean the heads with an alcohol prep, if
you have one, or take out the ink jet cartridge and using a gentle wrist motion, turn it up and down a few times and replace.
Get the CMT prep guide. I studied the stuff I was rusty on like radiology.

Didn't study that much but the questions that were on the test were in the prep guide.  Good luck.  I am happy to be a CMT and proud of it and it does mean a little more money for me, and the cost was reimbursed by my employer.

Curious. I've never fasted for a colonoscopy, just clears for 2 days and then the colon prep. The
