I have a feeling they will be hard working people just like the average American citizen..... ya know, those that actually pay their way in life and are sick to death of seeing it go to the dump!

You are not only ignorant, I think you are certifiable. You choose to believe a newspaper that has put our nation at risk, has reporters who have been known to make up stories (yes, that really gives them credence). You post story after story about how horrible our military is and you have nothing but an insane hatred of all things good in America to back you up. You cannot possibly back up what you are saying because it is not true. Oh, I forgot, it's true because the New York Crimes said it is true. You are a joke. I am sure this will get deleted, but I feel a lot better having gotten all that out of my system. You are a mean, crude, rude, ignorant bully. You despise America, the troops and all they stand for and all your protestations won't do you any good because everything you post says otherwise. Seek help. You are in desparate need of help.

Skinheads don't join the military.
They have their own militia. If you or anyone at the NYT knew how the military works, there is a quite extensive questionnaire before you are inducted and questioning regarding subversive groups. KKK is one of them. The KKK has actually greatly dwindled in size. Add to that the fact that the majority of the military now is made of minorities and you get the picture. Skinheads would not rape a woman of color. It's not what they do. In fact, it is the antithesis of what they do. They might kill them, but rape them...no way. Educate yourself. You just look foolish when you continue to downgrade our military this way.

I'm protesting all of them
I just realized we do have another choice besides McCain and Obama - its called Nobody. I see I didn't get many responses to my last message (I guess not much to argue about with people now that HRC is not in the running). Anyway...I have come to realize this. First and most important (to me at least) is that I do have a choice and I don't have to choose between Obama or McCain and I won't. It's called No vote. Second, I believe that Americans do not pick the next president. When it is clear that Gore actually won (which I am horrified to hear as I could not stand him and was dreading the idea of him as president). He (IMO) is as worthless as Clinton was and I did not want a third Clinton term, so was happy when he lost. But then to find out he actually won, but the "higher powers" had already selected who they wanted in. So...therefore why should I vote when my vote actually does not make a difference. Therefore I've solved my problem of voting for the lesser of the two evils. Mine will be no vote and at least my conscious will sleep better. Whoever gets elected will be elected by the "richest of the US, the lobbyists, the elite, and the corporations". So that is my humble oppinion about all this nonsense.

If the war is something they believe strongly in then they will have to serve and ignore the protestors. If they are stuck on contract, they will have to serve and pray that the protesting works in their favor.
There is a divide in this country and both sides deserve to be heard.

cap and trade instead of taxes? It sounds to me like you're a little confused. BTW, Obama has already recognized potential problems with cap and trade and has stated they will do something to offset those costs.

I have always though Anderson Cooper was one of the most thoughtful, intelligent, and balanced newsmen out there.....perhaps we can see some true debate, no smoke and mirrors, just digging down into the truth and trying to find pros and cons for a REAL change for our country, not just a change, a commitment to hard work and success. they attacked people going into the convention. They destroyed property. The constitution does not guarantee people the right to destroy property and attack people.
