You are not only ignorant, I think you are certifiable. You choose to believe a newspaper that has put our nation at risk, has reporters who have been known to make up stories (yes, that really gives them credence). You post story after story about how horrible our military is and you have nothing but an insane hatred of all things good in America to back you up. You cannot possibly back up what you are saying because it is not true. Oh, I forgot, it's true because the New York Crimes said it is true. You are a joke. Skinheads don't join the military.
They have their own militia. If you or anyone at the NYT knew how the military works, there is a quite extensive questionnaire before you are inducted and questioning regarding subversive groups. KKK is one of them. The KKK has actually greatly dwindled in size. Add to that the fact that the majority of the military now is made of minorities and you get the picture. Skinheads would not rape a woman of color. It's not what they do. In fact, it is the antithesis of what they do. They might kill them, but rape them...no way. Educate yourself. You just look foolish when you continue to downgrade our military this way.

I was not around in the 60's, but I do condemn
ANYONE who is a terrorist. It was uncommon for things to escalate in this manner in the 60's (I am well educated). But, as you state, "The soldiers came home and were spit on by these kinds of radicals." Can you not see that it is definitely NOT rebuplican propaganda. You really make the argument for us. It is insane to think that we should excuse the behavior of hippies because they were on LSD--come on. I suppose we should forgive Barrack's drug use, as well. Judge me for what I did in my 20's. I am proud of who I was and who I became--and yes, I made mistakes, but I never terrorized anyone.

If there are homosexuals being killed, it is not in this country. You just don't hear about it and the media would have a hey day with something like that. No, I don't believe it, just because you say it's happening. Proof please. I have every right to come across any way I please. Stop telling me I have no "right" to say, feel, think the way I do. I have no idea how you feel about your son or even how you handle it, so I wouldn't even begin to tell you what's going on in your life. But this is the way I feel. No, I wouldn't disown my children. However, I did do the groundwork when they were small. They knew it was wrong. They knew it would not be accepted by me or their father and maybe they had enough respect for us to do the right thing. I don't know. I do know that most kids are not taught that it's wrong, regardless of what society tells us. I do know that some kids do this to get back at their parents for different reasons. All sins can be forgiven. This is one sin that can kill you before you have a chance to be forgiven. I loved my kids enough to make sure they understood it was not only wrong, but could lead to their deaths at an earlier age. Not just HIV, AIDS but anal cancer, hepatitis C and a score of other terrible diseases. I didn't want that for for my sons. I'm not a hippocrit. But you are judgemental.

are not one monolithic group of people who share the same literal read of the Quran as you would have us believe. Substitute the word Jihadist for Muslim in your statement and then we might have something to talk about. I will not put myself in the position to defend the teachings of a Holy Book that is read, interpreted and elaborated in thousands of different ways by 1.5 billion people who are members of the world's second largest religion. My issue here is not whether or not minority sects within that religion are terrorist...the same way that I see fanatical Christians, by the way (and before you go there, I am Christian). My issue is the ignorant, dangerous rhetoric that would paint a huge majority of humble, spiritual, religious people of faith of any religion in one broad stroke that would leave us believing they they are all out to "get us."

California voted to ban gay marriage before. The supreme court overturned the proposition and allowed it, citing that it was against the state constitution, so all this did was amend the constitution to reinstate what has been voted in before.

Look what happened when we were warned in advance about Katrina?!*)
