This is not a cartoon world.
I'm done - Feel like I'm talking to the walls.
Did you not read my message? Obama was the Chairman for the Annenberg Foundation!

OBAMA = ANNENBERG. In otherwords Factcheck.org is supported by Obama/Annenberg Foundation. NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE!!!!

This article explains it best.

OBAMA = AYERS = ANNENBERG.

The Annenberg Foundation (to include people like George Soros) support Obama.

I'm done and out of here.
Where do you get your info? Bathroom walls?
Hamas is a viable grassroots movement just as Hezbollah is in Lebanon. FYI, the following parties participated in the 2006 legislative elections in Palestine:
1) Fatah (the ruling party at the time).
2) Hamas.
3) Independent Palestine.
4) Party of Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa.
5) The Alternative.
6) The Third Way.

Parties in the Palestinian National Authority include:
1) Democratic Fron for the Liberation of Palestine.
2) Palestine Democratic Union.
3) Palestine Forum.
4) Palestinian National Initiative.
5) Palestinian People's Party.
6) Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
7) Al-Mustaqbal.
8) Palestinian Popular Struggle Front.

Their elctions were monitored by the European Parliament's monitoring team, headed by British Conservative Edward McMillan-Scott and Palestine's own Central Elections Commission, not to mention international observers from 22 countries, who were all part of an 80-member delegation led by former President Jimmy Carter. The delegation included elected officials, electoral and human rights experts, regional specialists, and political and civic leaders from North America, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia. All parties assessed the elections as clean, organized and "professional."

There was a 75% turn-out in Gaza and a 73% turn-out in the West Bank. There were 132 seats up for grabs. The results?

1) Hamas seated 74.
2) Fatah 45.
3) Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa 3.
4) The Alternative 2.
5) Independent Palestine 2.
6) The Third Way 2.
7) Independents (reputed to be Hamas-leaning) 4.

By the looks of things, their political party system is more open than it is in the US !

That's the most stereotypical thing I"ve ever read
New California seems like a racist state to me....
If a stereotypical thing like the above had been posted on the C-board
tongue-in-cheek or not we would be castigated to no end and called racist and insensitive to cultures.

GT just exemplified her double standard, and I was calling her on it...
This is a perfect example of what I would point out as a stereotypical, mean-spirited
post, full of generalizations and just plain hatefulness. Yet above posting scripture. I am not sure how one reconciles that.  Don't bother answering.  I won't be around ot see it.  I feel sorry for you.
glass empty/full
LOL, ya know, reading your post about glass half empty, geez.  I used to, in my younger days, be a glass half full.  I used to debate with friends and coworkers, especially liked debating with cute doctors (smile) about their glass half empty view and my glass half full view..However, as I have gotten older, wiser and more tired, yes I guess my view is glass half empty.  However, I do think if the situation in this country and the world and the job situation,  heck the respect for each other situation was better, my attitude would change.

should not throw stones, skunko!
People in glass houses...
Aren't you the one who provided the link about illegal aliens from republicanherald.com just yesterday? Duplicity abounds!
Keeping the glass half full SM

isn't about any of the things you name.  It comes from inside, a peace of spirit and soul. It needs no outside influence except, in my case, my love for God and his for me.  My glass has always been half full.  And it always will be because He is with me always.

It has to be hard living in a glass house...sm
Newt is classic. *Let Our Family Represent Your Family.* No thanks!

My favorite line:
**When it comes to personal morality, liberal commentators have long argued that the press has one standard for Democrats and another for Republicans (and another one entirely for the Clintons).**
Glass house...meet stone!
Let's just communicate in cliches from now on!
I'd rather eat glass than spend a single minute

People who live in glass houses -

Everything you do not believe in can happen to you and your family........

Really good post, we all know he will be under a magnifying glass, and all his motives and ideals,,,
will be questioned, debated, and scrutinized more than any other president. He has only been in office a week and look at all the criticism/second-guessing etc that is going on....folks tend to forget that the last time we were in a real depression of this magnitude, FDR did not turn it around overnight, took most of his first three terms, and then some, and then WWII actually acted as economic stimulus for this country (very bad way to boost domestic economics!). But if we are looking at things unbiased and just know human nature, yes, he will be held to a higher standard, but I personally believe that this man can definitely uphold that standard and supercede it, just my own observations of his intellect and insight. Thanks for posting the article!
