Truly, someone like this is not worth the energy.
There is no logical thought behind their posts.  Calling me a racist is a silly immature infantile leftist ploy.  We know that.  I learned a long time ago to ignore posters such as this.
Ok, no more 5-hour energy for you...lol (sm)
While I usually agree with most of your posts, because I tend to flip flop a little between left and right myself, I am sure that conspiracy theory is incorrect. I don't think Obama is going to just be a martyr for the democratic party.  I actually think that regardless of which candidate wins there will be a danger of assassination.  It doesn't take the majority to be racist, it just takes one nutjob really. But really I think you were up too late and hyped up a bit too much and letting your mind wander a little too far.  I am sure there were lots of reasons Biden was chosen but no, that hypothesis you stated is kinda too far out there.
How about spending all that energy doing
Sorry if you call what you have been doing work, but it shouldn't surprise me. Most O lovers aren't worried about hard work, just free money.
Too bad this poster doesn't put this much energy
she probably is up there amongst the well-to-do. Maybe a rich man's wifey, who never has to lift a finger.
Ya really need to read the article...yes they do take up a lot of energy...sm
if she's going to brag about her *credentials* on energy and I use the term loosely, then she'd better set the example. A tanning bed is no toaster and completely unnecessary in anyone's home along with the jet she got rid of at a half million dollar loss.

Next thing you know she'll be wearing $300,000 skirts also.

She needs to practice what she preaches.
SP's energy policies demonstrate

1.  Sarah's socialism is fine and dandy for Alaska:  "...and Alaska - we're set up, UNLIKE other states in the union, where it's collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we SHARE THE WEALTH when the development of these resources occurs"... boasting to a reporter of having been able to send a check for $1,200 to every man, woman and child in the state since, "Alaska is sometimes described as America's socialist state, because of its collective ownership of resources.”

2.  She agrees with Obama's windfall profits concept...a windfall profit, by any other name, is...well, a windfall profit.

3.  Sarah is a hypocrite.

4.  Sarah can articulate the shrub's oil policies even more precisely that her running mate.

Don't waste your energy trying to engage
I don't argue with brick walls.
You know, I'm all for alternative energy sources....sm
But there are unintended consequences to everything.

The windfarms that they have as an experiment here in eastern Montana, have killed hundreds of birds and over a thousand bats.

This is not good. It reminds me of all the honeybees that are disappearing around the world. I lean towards the cell phone tower theory on the bees, that somehow it is disorienting them, and killing them, before they can return to their hives....maybe even contributing to the fungus that some scientists say have killed the bees.

This year, we didn't think our bats were going to show up, and we wondered where they were. We usually have one or two that show up in June, and take up residence under our eaves, and behind our thermostat on the deck. We see them fly at sunset, and they eat upwards of 1200 insects an hour.....if the bats disappear, the insects will remain, and who knows what the unintended consequences may be....

Just food for thought.....

Good...maybe we can finally get an energy
policy that relieves us from OPEC, et.al., and save our 700B a year!  Will be tough but the tough will get going again.  We need to fix the railroads to transport goods economically rather than trucking everything.  Sorry to the truckers but we have to get smart again.
Stop. Don't waste your energy.
victim mentality they probably couldn't escape it even if they wanted to. They cannot separate the truth from the propaganda they have been fed. If they think the report pertains to them, perhaps they are really rightwing extremists.
Palin on energy savings...see article...sm

Governor's mansion had personal tanning bed for Palin.  So much for saving energy...lol

EIA Energy Information Sheets on Oil Production

I forgot to add I like what she says about energy and drilling and not being dependent on other coun
She is a very strong woman and I have every confidence in her she will be a great VP and even great President if it came down to it.

Go McCain/Palin.
Clean Energy Fuels and Nancy Pelosi

My, must be nice. Trying to pass a bill for clean energy and who is going to profit from this? T. Boone Pickens owns Clean Energy Fuels. Nancy and her husband bought #50K-$100K worth of stock in May 2007. No wonder she's pushing it. It means a fortune for her.

Another site states her husband bought the shares alone, but she lives in CA where it's share and share alike.

WHAT THE HECK? Obama says himself, "I will make energy prices skyrocket"

Read, listen, and weep.  Right from his own mouth.  He now states this 2 days before election.  No wonder he wanted earlier voters.  He did say he needs to kill people's expectations if him being president.  No kidding.  Sorry you ya, I will be blaming the one's who vote for O for this.  This guy is CRAZY.  He FREAKS ME OUT.  There is something not right with him and this whole picture and his motive.  He says that is why we should have energy efficient lightbulbs and efficient appliances to help with the skyrocket of electricity?

I just don't have the energy to fight anymore, I guess. This was lame attempt!
I need to work anyway.
My overall concern is that it is the US
that are detaining these children, and there doesn't seem to be much transparency about what is really going on. I would like full disclosure. It seems that quite a few agencies that have inquired about it have been shunned, at least in the beginning. And in the beginning, a lot of these children were being detained in adult jails/camps and interrogated as adults. That I believe is a war crime and someone should be held accountable.

I would feel much more comfortable and positive about the overall situation if it were being handled soley by the Iraqi people. If not, it will look like coercion. I'm not saying we shouldn't help, but that perhaps it should be more of a long-arm approach (for the lack of a better way to say it). The average Iraqi citizen does not teach their children to kill. It is the extreme Islamists who are preying upon them. It is a very delicate situation that could very well backfire regardless that our intentions are good ones.
I do appreciate your concern about
In a creepy way, I get this slimey feeling that the ACORN controversy is a set-up for exactly that. To make matters worse, I think Ohio will not be alone this year and that every state will face its challenges in this regard. Thing is, it's a little late in the game to be "fixing" that problem now. The progressives have been talking about this problem ever since the last election, but until now, those concerns have been falling on deaf ears.
No concern until one of their own
of course it does not concern them unless one of their own family are blown up, shot, kidnapped or whatever happens the next time.  And don't think there won't be a next time since our country is showing such weakness now.  When it happens to one of their own they will be screaming to high heaven and forget that they backed this closing.
Unfortunately, to get to that level he'd have to
Hee
On one level, it's rather
Think about it. Here we have Evans, Editor of Newsweek and one who is in the vanguard of elitist agnosticism (remember "The Decline and Fall of Christian America"?) who seems to acknowledge, at least tacitly, the need for some sort of God to mediate and reconcile the nations.

So far, Evans has only managed to stagger toward a rather pitiful concept of God in the form of a being as miserably inadequate as Obama, but perhaps there's hope that he'll mature to an adult notion of God, which is a bit more sophisticated.
My big concern is what is attached to that
xx
So, I have a question/concern.

Why are the presidential candidates not talking more about pulling us away from oil? or more strategies to get us off oil?  I may be wrong, so please correct me, but I have not heard anything specific about this issue.  John Kerry is the only one I have heard, but not sure how effectual he is.

Last night on Hardball, the money man said to expect that a gallon of gas to go as high as $20 a gallon in the next 10 to 20 years.  Insane.  What is that going to do to the world economy?  I see a global recession coming, and at the rate the US is dragging their feet, we are going to be the hit very, very hard because we still rely too much on oil for just about everything, from cars to home heating to food.

What are we to do?

Cute.....have a job, thank you so much for your concern...
check the conservative board, liberals post there too. Is it your day to watch me? LOL.
I don't know if concern is the word,
I would like any prospective President to have some first hand knowledge of the rest of the world AND have some kind of relationship with other world leaders. I think both of those are hard to achieve if you cocoon yourself in your own country.
Another huge concern........
Where is all the money coming from being donated to Obama's campaign.  They are using fake names.   Why?  Now, most common sense folks will know why if we don't want to deceive ourselves.  No doubt Muslim organizations, corrupt groups, terrorists related groups.....you name it.  See how well that never gets reported on most of your news channels.  FOX has tried and is bringing it up again but try to get others, with the exception of Lou Dobbs, who will call a spade a spade....and please don't get racial with me.....you know what I mean.
Still a big concern for those not so easily
Palin's clothes, her trips, family trips. Who cares!!

If you don't want to hear about it, too bad! I can see where you wouldn't; doesn't look good for him.

What's different is that on a state level in CA,
in the form of ballot measures, ballot initiatives, propositions or referendums. They can be heard in the California Supreme Court on any or all of these bases and are entitled to seek relief.
Just above your level of showing your
stupidity for trying so hard to appear to be intelligent.
I don't wear sneakers, but thanks for the concern. nm

Where's the concern for the dying US children?

I don't know whether you are a Republican or Democrat (or neither), but I have found that many Republicans are against this bill.  The ironic thing to me is that many Republicans are pro-life.  Many care so much about saviing the babies in the womb, but where is the concern for little children who are suffering?  I think it's hypocritical for one to say that they care so much about bringing this life into the world and giving it a chance to live, and yet if that same child gets leukemia it's on it's own because God forbid our taxes might get raised or something.

Sometimes you just have to DO THE RIGHT THING.  I believe the right thing is health insurance for all American children.  What would Jesus do?

Well, it makes him decidedly more of a concern...
nm
My biggest concern is how many illegals are
+
She's not an Obama supporter so no concern
@
Yeah, we can see that by your post over your concern
Grow up already.
It's not hate, is deep concern
I don't hate Obama. I think he's a fine person. Great with giving speeches and beautiful family. Personally I will enjoy hearing his voice give a speech over McCains voice and was really getting sick of hearing "my friends" in every other sentance of a speech McCain gave. So it's not that I or others hate Obama. Unlike the hate we have seen from the other side.

What it is is very deep concerns that everything we have worked for and everything we aspire for and live for and save for and teach our kids is going to change for the worse. I do not think Obama is qualified to be president. I don't and that is my opinion. Evidently other people do feel otherwise and therefore he became president (which I still have doubts that a president is really elected by the people - I think he was already picked a long time ago). But my gut feeling is the same exact feeling I had for Clinton. He promised us so much while he was campaigning and once he got in he screwed the country royally. This is the same feeling.

I hope I am wrong and honestly if I am wrong and if he does do good things I WILL be on this board and admit that I am wrong. But at the same time when I hear and read that he is doing somthing wrong, not fullfilling (sp?) his campaign promises I will also be on this board posting too.

I will admit that I am not always right, but when I feel strongly and when I feel I am right I speak my mind.

My main concern is his redistribution of weath. I'll tell you if my taxes go up so that people like that girl (forget her name) who said it was a historic moment and never in her whole life did she ever think she would not have to work to pay her mortgate and would not have to work to buy gas - if my taxes go up so that way she can pay her rent and gas and bills because I had to put in an extra 10 hours of work to pay the extra taxes for HER!!!!! You can bet your you know what I'm going to be on this board screaming and shouting.

But DH and I were talking and we said maybe it is someone like Obama who will finally be able to do something right and fight for Americans. One never knows. So if he does I will come on and admit I was wrong.
why don't you show as much concern for the spectacle
right and left, as we speak. You just can't stand the fact that Obama is going to be a fine leader, ran a brilliant campaign, is loved by people all over the world while pub party is basically turning into a laughing stock.
I predict he will be a one-termer....thanks for your concern, tho

NO! Your post above: **My concern lies more with
WHAT LYING?
One would have to have a certain level of intelligence to be bored. sm

You are the weakest link.  Buh-bye now.

That just shows the level of insensitivity....
this is an anonymous posting board. You people have posted nastiness about someone and named them. Dailykrap posted it where the entire nation can look at it. You have invaded the privacy of a 16-year-old girl who has done nothing to deserve it and made her public fodder. Perhaps you are proud of that. I cannot imagine that you would be, yet you attack me and support those who would do such a thing. Amazing.
That's the only level pubs will react to.
Put your money where your mouth is. You want real issues. Just post a request for a list and let's get started.
How can you retain something at 2009 level....
when it is 2008?

With the economy the way it is, he CANNOT implement his health care plan. If he does, the fragile economy will tank. I am not an economist and I have sense enough to know that.

The estate tax is the most unfair tax ever levied. All that money has been taxed already, and they want to tax it again just because someone dies. It should be repealed. That is not a Republican or democrat thing. It is just wrong.

Think about this...when the stock market lost 700 points that day...many of the americans earning more than $250,000 lost a ton of money. And he is NOW going to roll back tax cuts for them? Is he so naive or want to get elected SO bad that he does not understand that most of the small businesses in this country fall in that category? And moderate-sized businesses? Who do you think are the employers in this country? Can he not see that will result in businesses closing or downsizing or offshoring just to SURVIVE?

I guess he doesn't. And that means he SHOULD NOT be President.
Also enjoys one-on-one ground-level
Wonder if she follows indigenous rule and only slays what she can eat? Not likely, considering her affinity for guns. What a gal, what a gal!
You don't need to attack me on a personal level... sm
by calling names.

I looked at your supporting web site and find that it is a Democratic web site, so I automatically discard it as biased.

I still am seeking an answer for my original question. What has changed? His mind, in my estimation, is not a suitable answer as that does not address the FACT that he himself stated that he did not feel he was qualified to run for POTUS.

By the same token, if he can "change his mind" on an issue as important as being qualified for POTUS, what is to keep him from changing his mind on all the promises and pipedreams he was selling while he was running. Oh wait....I think that is already happening. He is already stating that he cannot fulfill all his promises and he is not even in office yet.

If he is the "best" that this country has to offer, we're in worse shape than I thought we were.
They scare me, as well, on a very dangerous level.

Starting at the community level......... sm
is a great thing to do and I am proud of you for the work you do. I have read here before some of the things you are involved in, and you are making a difference in your community. I'll be right here, ready and willing! LOL
You sank to their level but beyond, and continue to do so.
I give up.
The playing field has never been more level!

Thanks to affirmative action, white heterosexual males cannot get jobs especially when competing with a person classified as a minority.  Mintorities get college scholarships and acceptance into good schools so universities can meet their quota.  It's ridiculous!  There is a black man in the White House --- I think affirmative action has done its job!

It's time for everyone, no matter their race, be treated equally.  The best PERSON for the job should get the job.  The best student with the best transcipts should get the admission letter and scholarship.  There shouldn't be quotas to fill.  NOBODY should get preferential treatment anymore!

Good for you....don't stoop to that level!!

Patronizing fake concern for the doggies.
Why don't you post a message with something IN it for a change:) Might help you get rid of some pent up hostility of your own.
