The MSNBC crew does incite hate and fear

I guess you don't listen to them, or do you think it's okay for them to incite hate and fear, and cutting down everyone, disrespecting thousands upon thousands of Americans. They don't report objectively anymore. They've turned it into a station of hate and bitterness. Can't understand why because their fave won, but guess that's not good enough. Now they feel they have the right to condemn and belittle anyone who doesn't agree with them, which happens to be over 50% of the country (69M may have voted for him, but 234M did not - if you minus the people not eligible to vote that still leaves 174M that did not vote for him). MSNBC has turned their station into a huge political hate and nasty machine. They are disrespectful to anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Rush - I don't care for him and don't listen to him regularly like I used to but catch him every once in awhile. While I don't agree with some of what he has to say, he is just telling the truth trying to get people to wake up. He certainly does not incite violence. Neither does Michael Savage. Why in the world would you consider Savage republican? He is an independent and he is harsh to both sides. Unless you consider anyone who questions what is going on in the current administration a republican. There are plenty of democrats who do not like what is happening in their party but they are still democrats.

I don't think anyone on either side should be banned. If I don't like them I don't listen and I change the channel. Anyone who has the elitist attitude of who should be banned and who shouldn't ought to move to Cuba or some other communist/socialist country. I'm sure they would be welcome there. Here in America last I knew we were a free country, even though the current admin is working their hardest and fastest to change that.

Yoohoo - Where's the hate crew?

I am not clear, why do you hate/fear muslims?
history shows us many atrocities have been done in the name of people's 'religions' so what makes muslims the target...I see just as much intolerance and hatred right here, in church. ?
If your idea of earth is fear, hate, and misery...no thanks!
The people who are creeped out by Obama and the people who support him are probably scared of their own shadows and prefer to wallow in misery!
They have done nothing to incite violence
I may not agree with them all the time (and I watch all the shows), but I have never seen anything where they are inciting violence.
If it's a felony to incite a bank run, then
shouldn't these people on Wall Street be prosecuted?  After all, if they hadn't done what they did to the economy, then we wouldn't have to withdraw our money.
If a crew member is not
rowing in harmony with the rest of the crew, I think it's a good idea to put him off the boat.  Specter has said he knew he would lose the next primary, i.e., realized that Republican voters did not want him, so he jumped ship first rather than thrown overboard.  'You can't fire me.  I quit!'  Now his state can run a more suitable Republican candidate.
Just when I think Bush and crew have reached their despicable peak...

... I discover something even more despicable.  This isn't a new story, but I just heard it for the first time on TV tonight.

I'm at the point where I seriously hope this cold-hearted, dim-witted MORON gets impeached, because I'm sick of all his BU_ _SH _ _!!!!

Sen. Biden: 'I'm Not Allowed To Be There When The Flag-Draped Casket Comes In' ...

The Huffington Post   |  Posted June 20, 2005 10:11 PM

READ MORE: CBS, Iraq

iraq

On CBS News's Face the Nation yesterday, Senator Joseph Biden (D-Del.) told Bob Schieffer that the Defense Department policy forbids him from paying his respects to fallen soldiers as their coffins return to the US through the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Though no cameras and no press would accompany him, Biden said he had to receive express permission from the Pentagon to join a grieving family that had requested his presence as they met their deceased son who died in a car bomb in Iraq.

I'm allowed in the military base. I'm not allowed to go to the mortuary, he said.

Senator Biden added that it is his understanding that the policy originates with Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld.

In April 2004, published photographs of flag-draped coffins arriving at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware prompted the Pentagon to ban the release of such pictures. After Ralph J. Begleiter, a University of Delaware professor and former CNN correspondent, filed a Freedom of Information Act request, the Pentagon reversed the ban in April 2005 and released 361 undated, unlabelled pictures of coffins arriving at Dover Air Force Base.

Read excerpts of the CBS News transcript:

SCHIEFFER: You talk about not fully informing the American people. There's no question that the administration has at least discouraged people from reporting on casualties there. For example, the casualties all the people who have been killed in Iraq come back through the...

Sen. BIDEN: True.

SCHIEFFER: ...Air Force base in Delaware.

Sen. BIDEN: In Dover.

SCHIEFFER: Do you ever go out to meet those flights out there?

Sen. BIDEN: I've tried to and they will not allow me to. As a matter of fact...

SCHIEFFER: Who will not allow you to?

Sen. BIDEN: The Defense Department. Look...

SCHIEFFER: Wait a minute. You're a United States senator.

Sen. BIDEN: I'm a United States senator. Well, let me be very...

SCHIEFFER: They're not letting you on a military base?

Sen. BIDEN: I'm allowed in the military base. I'm not allowed to go to the mortuary. I'm not allowed to be there when the flag-draped casket comes in. As a matter of fact, Bob, one family asked me whether I would meet their son who was tragically gunned down, actually car bomb in Iraq. This is several months ago. I said I would be honored to be with them. They wanted me to come with the minister. They wanted me through the whole process. The commander of the base told me that he couldn't allow that to happen and he's a friend--this is not like there's no hostility there; I'm on the base all the time--until he cleared it with the Pentagon. And I'm told the civilian leadership in the Pentagon. So in order for me to literally go in and accompany a mom and a dad and a son to pick up the body of a dead son, a young Marine killed in Iraq, I was not just able to do it as a senior United States senator, former chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee--not like I'm new to this. I had to get specific permission for that specific event. I wanted to go when more than one Marine came back dead and I just wanted to show my respect. I didn't want any press there. There was no press. We weren't talking about that.

SCHIEFFER: So you think it is the secretary of Defense himself who's blocking you?

Sen. BIDEN: Well, that's my understanding. I don't know that for a fact, but it's not the military. It's the civilian decision in the Defense Department that you're not allowed to be there just to show respects. And let me emphasize here now. No press. No cameras. Nothing. I have made it a practice. The reason I've gone to Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia is to demonstrate to those troops there that I understand what's going on and to be with them. No press. And they won't even let me on the base. Now, look, I'm not...

Ms. TUMULTY: Why? Why do you think that is?

Sen. BIDEN: They have this generic policy that it is a private matter. Well, I don't know any family that would--maybe there is--but I don't know any family that if a member of the government, a high-ranking official, was there just to pay their respects--and, look, this is heart-wrenching stuff. I mean, you were saying--maybe I shouldn't say this--before the show how it gets you on your nightly news broadcast when you talk about these young men and women who die. I mean, I think it's important for the nation to acknowledge and I think part of my job is to demonstrate privately ...

Fear Mongerer? Obama? McCain and Cheney were fear mongerer

MSNBC

I see it very differently.  Chris Mathews is a big ole softy who loves, loves, loves this country.  Keith O has a twinkle in his eye and assumes the viewers are well informed.  They both seem to love their jobs and relish discussing politics.  They are my absolute favorites.

MSNBC

I really like their commentators.  I do think they are pro Obama,  but not rabidly so.  Rachel has criticized the Obama campaign at times.  Pat Buchanan certainly is not pro democrat.  Joe Scar is not pro Obama.  I get good information from the pro-O commentators and a balanced viewpoint from the Repub commentators. The commentators have been in politics for years, so they point out things I might not have thought about.  I like Keith O's humor.  When he presents information he gives sources and verification for it.  When he is wrong, he corrects himself.  While I was listening to John McC last night, my mind started to wander.  I remembered then why I used to find politics so boring.  Remember Dole? I think Obama brings energy to politics and makes it worth paying attention to.

I don't believe anything MSNBC says.

MSNBC is not as far as it gets because
they are still a part of the major outlet news conglomerates. You want real left reporting, check out Pacifica.
From what CNN and MSNBC
create enough jobs. Our kids and grandkids will be in debt and so much more negativity.
endless war - msnbc
Good article under world news MSNBC online site.  Frightening.  Michael Scheuer, ex CIA analyst states "rather than move forward towards solutions, the US took a big step backward by invading Iraq".  He states the US has a willingful blindness to what needs to be done:  Withdraw our troops from the Middle East, end unqualified support for Israel, sever close ties to Arab oil state tyrannies.  Bruce Hoffman, veteran RAND Corp specialist fears an endless war and dismisses talk of Al Qaida's back having been broken by the capture of some leaders.  He and a half dozen other terrorist experts say the worlds richer powers must address the underlying causes - lessen the appeal of radicalism by improving economies, political rights and education.  Bush, et al, you have entered into a predicament that has no good outcome.  If this isnt a reason to impeach him, I dont know what is.  He ought to be tarred and feathered in town square.
I saw it on MSNBC this week.
I had seen this commercial before, I believe on the Daily Show (Colbert Report maybe?), and I thought it was one of their jokes.  I was amazed to find out it's real!
MSNBC? Well, that explains it (nm)
nm
msnbc topped Fox

in convention viewers.  Fox's days are over.  There will not be enough audience for them once Baracko takes over.

Wonder when JM or SP interviews on MSNBC
Won't hold my breath on that one. They'll be ll tied up with emergency response damage control and leadership image management.
Ron Allen (MSNBC)

short clip.

The media will try to downplay her accomplishments as when Ron Allen of MSNBC tried to get me to accept that she had too little experience. Watch it here.

I watched a little of MSNBC afterwards
and they were calling it a tie. I figured they would have just called it for Obama. I am a liberal-leaning moderate and do watch MSNBC so I am well aware of their bias, but I was refreshingly surprised to see them be fair on this one.

On another note, any other libs out there been watching the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC? She is great, totally unabashedly liberal, but funny and not in-your-face confrontational. Really smart too, Stanford and a Rhodes Scholar. Yikes, I sound like a commercial!
Only MSNBC and FOX are one sided, not CNN or the others AT ALL
but fox is by far the worst... at least MSNBC doesn't LIE outright.

So right you are. O will only allow MSNBC to exist...
to ask those tough presidential questions like boxers or briefs and what talking points would you like us to use today sir?
I see the whiners at NBC and MSNBC
have banned her for life because they can't handle the truth about their slurp fest with Obama. She basically calls them out regarding their blatant love and adoration for the Chosen One.
What would we do without those people at MSNBC?
At least they have a sense of humor -- maybe Fixed News should take a lesson.  They, too, are very funny -- they just don't mean to be!!
I found something about that on MSNBC also..sm

I wonder if I can get in on that action. LOL. I am one of those people who did not buy more house than they could afford and did exercise due diligence by NOT getting an ARM. Oh well....

Uh, oh....What's that I see on MSNBC's website?

Fear
Fear is a rational response when based on facts. It has enabled humans to survive throughout history, giving us the sense to run from something that is dangerous and encouraging us to use our wits to make good decisions to ensure our future survival. It was your fellow committed dems below who said their reasoning for not liking Palin is because "she creeped them out" and they don't like her voice. Is that the type of voters we want?
Nothing to fear
abide by the law. Why does that scare you?
I fear you are right.
They will be back under this administration. That, however, doesn't mean they are any good. it just means they will be there. Then we shall see whether they help or harm.
More fear??
I absolutely agree with you.  It seems that the harder Obama works to clean up the mess left by Bush the more ridiculous over-the-top the accusations get from the Repubs and Conservatives.  Really, it is okay to not agree with Obama but come on-if you need to b***h, at least make it real.  Trying to increase unemployment to wipe out capitalizism?? Puleez!!
I don't watch Hannity....but as far as MSNBC...
have you watched Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann? Keith Olbermann is worse than Rush Limbaugh ever thought about being...and yes, I think Rush is condescending and I don't like the talking down on either side. It obscures any point that might be made. I can't watch Chris Matthews for more than 30 seconds and I have never made it past 1 word with Olbermann. And Chris Matthews is realllyyy bad about talking over his guests to make HIS point. So I guess every network has their Hannity/Matthews/Olbermann et al. But, some people like that condescending stuff and find things funny that I don't...but hey, it takes all kinds to make the world turn, I guess.
That's MSNBC's fault for staffing ...
a news event with commentators. Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman are not journalists. They are political commentators, and their opinions are what bring in the ratings on their programs.

But, generally speaking, journalism is just not what it used to be. Impartial reporting and confirmed information have been left at the wayside. These days it's all about getting out the big story fast, whether or not it's actually true.

Walter Cronkite would have choked himself on the air before ever starting a story with "Unconfirmed reports say . . . " How often do we hear that as the lead-in to a news story? Translation: "Rumor has it . . . "

So that's my rant for today. Matthews and Olberman shouldn't be reporting on anything.
MSNBC just stated that the FEC is is going to audit (sm)

Barack Obama. Supposedly, he accepted donations from foreign nationals. Most of these donations were made over the internet and they are going to check into this.

FEC ordered O's compaign to provide more information about large sums of money coming into his campaign recently. Someone donated $11,000 to his campaign under the name of Good Will, and that he worked for YOU. Plus gave the address of Good Will Industries. When contacted, GWI stated they did not donate this money.

Another donation was supposedly by a liquor store in NY, but when contacted, they knew nothing about it.

Although they do not have to disclose small donations ($100-$250), Good Will donated the $11,000 in small increments thinking they would not be found out.

Could it be that the sh## is going to hit the fan soon...hopefully?

Try MSNBC KO, Rachel Madden and CNN

MSNBC will be the only station they will allow to ask questions...

they must be talking to Hugo Chavez about how to handle the press.

MSNBC is the most biased of all the stations

Fox News was voted by the press to be the most fair in their reporting. They compared all the major stations and came up with an average of 40% of all reporting devoted to each side when reporting election news.

Other posters will state Fox is biased, but I have started watching that station and CNBC. I was MSNBC and the others when I need a laugh.

Chris Mathews from MSNBC said
it was a country. Funny they didn't jump down him for that. Then come to find out Gov. Palin never said it.

I would not doubt for a minute that the person putting out the rumors and cut downs of Gov. Palin is no other than John McCain. Would not put it past him.

Also, people forget she didn't ask for this. The GOP went to her and asked her to be the running mate. She's proven herself time and time again she is the person who really excited the party. When McCain failed she would bring the party back up, then they dump on her and treat her like this.

Shameful I say.
Video will be aired on MSNBC...sm

and yet another comment from the MSNBC stooge
no meaning to your post, just cut downs to all that don't agree with you.

Maybe you might want to watch or read the news to see what's going on....and stay away from MSNBC so you could get some real news every once in awhile there are plenty of channels to choose from. Then you might even become informed about the events going on in the country.

But your comments here go to show you are part of the problem the left-wing liberal media has. Your posts have no meaning, offer no solutions. Just try (and I say try because it isn't working) to make fun of others. Typical MSLSD attitude.
Yep, MSNBC made a point of going over that

I see it the opposite. You and JTBB, MSNBC,etc

Real journalism? You mean like MSNBC?
ROFL!!!!
They don't hate us because we are free, they hate us because...
We need to stop imposing the way we live on them. They don't hate us because of our freedom. That is absurd. When have you ever heard them say we hate you because you are free? Never. What they have been saying is "Don't tell us how we should live". "Don't tell us we need to have the same type of government that America has", and they also say "We don't need the Americans designing our own countries flag" and that is why they hate us. They are their own country. It is not right for us to go in and say you need to live the way we do, your government needs to be run the way ours is. How would we like it if they came and said "Were invading America and your going to conform to the way we live because "its' the right way" or "god has told me this is the way it's suppose to be". No, we wouldn't like it one bit. Every country lives differently. We need to stop dictating how other countries should live.
