Glad you enjoyed our posts and I'm always glad to meet another far distant cousin. Maybe it's some of our shared heritage that makes us appreciate where we came from and thus able to see where we are going.

I'm 100% with you. So far as I'm concerned, there is nothing wrong with being AMERICAN. That is where we live. I'm of the opinion of EITHER LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT and if the influx of immigrants, legal and illegal, can't become AMERICANS, then they should go the h*** back where they came from. I'm very much pro LEGAL immigration. I can't think of anything I used to enjoy more than the Texas Folk Life festival in San Antonio. Our multi-culture makes us what we are but that with the newcomers assimilating into this country as AMERICANS, not trying to turn us into MEXICANS. I use Mexicans because they are the ones holding their demonstrations, waving their Mexican flags and demanding all rights of U.S. citizens while paying their allegance to Mexico. If they love Mexico so much why do they want to come here?????
