BEAR not quite right...it should be
Subject: BEAR not quite right...it should be

That should be BAER, which stands for brainstem auditory evoked potential according to my Stedmans eledctronic medical dictionary.  I wouldn't think it would be brainstem evoked.  Auditory evoked makes more sense to me.  No offense intended to anyone.

is it weightbear or weight bear?
Subject: is it weightbear or weight bear?

It's the end of the day and I cannot remember if it is "weightbear" or "weight bear" as in "The patient may weightbear/weight bear as tolerated."

I tried to look it up online and found it both ways...  I know it is weightbearing...

My eyes are starting to cross and it looks funny either way!

This has been a tricky one for me.  Newborn female, Vater or VACTERL anomaly.  In the physical exam the doctor is saying "imperforate anus, only single opening at the" what sounds like cranium  "which is the vaginal opening"  I have found a lot of web sites, but nothing that says the cranium as being an opening.  I'm stumped!

For the migraine headaches, the patient is going to continue on the Elavil 50 mg. However she was concerned about breast feeding. The information available does show that it does cross into the breast milk, however in very small doses. Pediatric calcification is that there is potential toxicity.
