Webmedx insurance question - coverage for self and spouse? (sm)

I saw posts regarding 1,000 and 2,000 deductible.  Is this the difference between BCBS gold and silver plan?  Also do they have a category for just yourself and spouse  or is it just family.  Since family could include umpteen children, I would think there would be a cheaper class for just you and spouse?

Not eligible for quite a while and haven't receive info yet from company. Just trying to make sure this will work for us or if I need to seek different employment.  We will be needing me to cover us as hubby is retiring soon.

TIA

MedScribe insurance info?

Can anybody tell me if the insurance at Medscribe is any good?  Any idea of their per line pay rate for radiology?  Debating on submitting resume.  TIA!

How about insurance rates for emp + spouse? sm
Also, their line requirements for FTE?
I did not take the insurance coverage - already had it. nm

Did MDI-FL ever change their insurance coverage? SM
I was told by the owner several months ago that she was looking for a cheaper policy for their medical coverage.
Health Insurance Coverage
Anyone know of any companies that offer health insurance with a company other than Aetna.  Aetna is probably great insurance for most people but almost no preferred providers in my area.  Would like to find Blue Cross and Blue Shield or United Health Care.
group insurance usually has a broader coverage
than individual, or so I have been told.
Welcome to Keystrokes :-) I have single coverage on the insurance sm

so I cannot really answer your question about the family plan, but no one had responded, so I at least wanted to say hello.  I have medical ($1000 deductible), vision, and dental for $129.86 per pay period for single coverage.  I'm glad you cleared that up about the license thing because that threw me!  (smile).

I do not know what the percentage of ESLs is on my acccount.  It is a Meditech/C-phone count, and the lines are not really difficult to obtain.  The only problem I have is me ... can't seem to find my focus lately.  :(

Good luck!

Keystrokes' insurance was not canceled. They are looking for better rates and coverage sm
in more states as Unicare is not in every state. I have Unicare with them and while it is a little on the high side IMO, it is less than what my husband's non-MT job offers for our family of 5.

They are not working on it long after their insurance is canceled. They are working to change, which can be done at any time although preferably at the beginning of a year or quarter.

And by the way, your grapevine is not that great. You should check facts before posting something that makes it look like they don't have any insurance.
The current insurance is not bad. The coverage is decent, and they pay which is good. sm
I actually hope that they don't change, but I know that it is a big hassle for the office because they are in the middle. Too big to be individual coverage rates and too small for the best rates. I talked with the HR manager, and she told me that the rates they were given for one company tripled once all the worksheets were in. They based the price on the worst case scenario or worst health. Now they can get a flat rate but only if half of the FT employees sign up. I could here the frustration in her voice when I was talking to her. Insurance companies do not always play fair.
Axolotl insurance. They have great rates but what is the coverage
like?  Can anyone tell me what insurance company they use and what your experience has been?  TIA
MedScribe, anyone work for this company that is willing to share your opinion???
I just tested and sent my resume, but I'm in the process of looking at several companies and trying to sort things out.  ty
Keystrokes has new insurance (finally) that is reasonable and good coverage. sm
The cost for a single person is $404 per month but they pay 1/2, so it is $202 or $101 per pay check (1st and 15th). I received my papers and card and rx card last week and the coverage is better than the BCBS that I had with others. $20 per visit co-pay, instead of $50.
Does anyone know what DeVenture offers in terms of insurance for famly coverage, costwise?
Thanks
Can you share where you get this insurance? sm
We are four as well with myself, my DH and two DDs. My husband's insurance is $850 a month for all of us and mine is $430 (Keystrokes). I like the coverage but I would love it more if it were half the cost. Can you share?
Any companies offer part-timers chance to buy into group insurance? need coverage ....

I've been looking at prices for solo medical insurance and while I can probably afford some coverage, I'm feeling rather paranoid about having insurance canceled if I actually get sick -- I'm fairly ignorant about what protections may have been passed and may just be responding to other people's horror stories.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure I want to work full time for any of the nationals ... they seem to have gotten awfully rigid wrt daily line counts within certain fixed hours ... some days I'm simply creaky and hate feeling pressured ... so part time to start seems more reasonable than jumping in with both feet.  Any infor or recommendations appreciated ...

Thanks!

Can you share what is the cost of WMX's insurance .... SM
especially health insurance. I need employee/spouse coverage and I know family is always somewhat higher. You may email me, if you want. Thanks very much!
Any Axolotl employees willing to share info., platform, ESL %, etc. All info greatly appreciated. sm

Along with the platform, ESL %, pay range, lpd required, split shift or 12-24 hour window available, I would be interested in knowing your personal experience with this company, what type of relationship you have with supervisors and other coworkers, etc.  Otherwise, the all the 411.

Thanks!

If you mean Medscribe of Fl, the insurance is
Aetna. Not sure about the line rate for radiology though.
Hey, anyone know what Medscribe's insurance is like pricewise etc.
I am considering applying with them but medical insurance and cost is important to my family so this has to be factored in, so anyone have any figures they can share?
Would anyone please share info
According to their website it appears as if they hire newbies that graduated from one of the top schools, which I did.  I would appreciate any info about them.  Thanks.
Would you please share info on...
a few things. Are the MTs at Van Belkum employees or IC? Do they pay via mail or direct deposit? What experience level do you need to test/apply?

I am happy where I am, but it is IC status, and I am considering going to employee status somewhere in the near future. I am glad to hear it is a good company and has happy MTs!
But the MT has the right to share any info about herself she wants and with whomever she wants.
:+
Can anyone share with me any info on ProType

Can anyone share any info on Webmedx?
Good, bad? I see that they have several openings currently, but I just want to make sure that they are a good company before I pursue anything with them. Do they pay on time? Do they treat their employees well? Can they be flexible if you ever need some time off? Also, do they frequently run out of work? Any info will be greatly appreciated!
Yes, if I ever find a company who will do it I will certainly share the info. :)

Any platform info you would care to share? NM

The purpose of this board is to share info about MTSOs...

I simply don't understand why MTs post all these negative things about a company but will not divulge the name of the company or even give us a hint!  What are you afraid of?!?!!?  They are already screwing MTs over and probably you too if you're angry enough to post!  You can post anonymously, that's the beauty of this particular site.  No one need know who you are.

I, personally, keep a list of MTSOs and things I've heard about them.  God knows I've been through enough bad MTSOs, I want to save other MTs the heartache of going through the same crap I've gone through!

Besides the best way to get these MTSOs to change is to post their name on a PUBLIC forum.  Word of mouth can be a powerful thing!

Here is a list of companies I have worked for and the problems I have had, starting with the most recent:

JLG --> paid payroll practices, LATE pay checks, and discontinuation of direct deposit.

Focus Infomatics -->  they offshore the majority of their work, they lie about offshoring the majority of their work, they lie to their employees about pay, hours, and job status and breach contracts left and right.

TransHealth -->  I have nothing bad to say about them.  Pay always on time, people nice (they have since been bought by Webmedx).

Precyse Solutions -->  Nothing horrible to report.  If I recall, they didn't pay for templates, but they told you that up front.

Medquist --> horrible people in supervisory positions, very cliquish company, bad dictators on all my accounts!

Webmedx -->  The account I was on was completely and utterly horrible!  Other than that, nice people, very organized.

Accutype --> complete embecil in charge (when I worked for them) who knew nothing about transcription or the needs of MT, again very cliquey with friends giving friends the best work.

Diskriter --> ran out of work frequently

I also worked for several small MTSOs that were either bought or went out of business, and I will say it usually was the smallest MTSO that I enjoyed working for the most.  I did work as an IC for a company out of Arizona doing radiology a few years ago for a while (I can't remember the name, but I don't think they are around anymore).  Also I worked as an IC for Administrative Advantage out of Pennsylvania were pretty decent, easy accounts and easy to make money, used DropChute to deliver dictation and reports back and forth and you just typed in one big docment per dictator in Word.  Simple, straight forward, and always on time.  If you ran out of work, they would try to put you somewhere else, but never made any promises.  I like honesty and they were honest.

See how easy that was.  You try!

This forum is a place for MTs to share info, NOT hostility..sm
If you don't agree with a poster, just don't respond. It's really not that hard! Live and let live for God's sake! I can't speak for everyone, but do feel the majority, like myself, do come hear to find jobs, research companies, share ideas, etc. What we DON'T come here for is to be dragged down by all the negativity spewed out from miserable MTs. Save it!! No one cares to weed through the rude replies!!
Anyone care to share info on Meridian HealthCare Solutions?
Is it a good company to work for.  How is the software, is it user-friendly, how is the response from tech, supervisors, QA, etc.    Thanks
Of course company doesnt feel compelled to share this info. Is there anyone there who would be
;P
Anyone currently working Webmedx/Transhealth radiology would care to share info on them - sm
Are all of the dictators ESL as in the test on the website?  If you sign on as a radiology MT are you still allowed a 12-hour window.  Has workload been fairly consistent? Any info would be greatly appreciated.  I took the test and would like some info before I am contacted.  TIA.

Anyone have any info on Medscribe in Florida?
I am considering applying with them. My current company has been low on work almost all month, and I don't know how much more I can take. I was thinking of applying for an ER account with them since I have been doing ER for about 2 years now. Anyone have any experience with them? Any info, good or bad, would be very much appreciated!
sorta new here.....need some info on DTS and Medscribe
I'm fairly new and would like some opinions on DTS and Medscribe.  Any info would be beneficial.  Thnx
Thanks to all posters who shared MedScribe info!
I really appreciate it. Now for the stupid question of the year - I have been following MedScribe, as it seems a great company to work for. I had no idea there were two! Eegads!! The kind of luck I have, I will go work for the not-so-great one! Is the one in Jax the good one?? I just can't afford another zinger at this point - My financial situation just needs one more zing, and I'm heading for disaster beyond disaster.
Any info about Medscribe, line rate, etc.? smsg
I checked archives but only found very old posts.  Any new updates?  Thanks.
are Med-Scribe Transcription Svcs Inc of Teaneck NJ & MedScribe Info Systems Inc of Jacksonville FL
.
I pay about $400/mo for spouse and I
I don't have my paperwork in front of me, but I believe it was VERY reasonable for employee only. The plans looked really good too. This includes vision, dental, medical, supplemental life, and ST/LT disability insurance.
Insurance info
When a company states that they offer insurance based on productivity, what is the average productive they are looking for?  1000 lines/day, 1200 lines/day, etc.  I am sure companies differ, but I am just trying to find out an average.
Any new insurance info yet?
I was just wondering if anyone has current pricing on their health insurance and Aflac or even a ballpark figure? Couldn't get that from the recruiter??? Also, are they flexible with unpaid time off or flexible scheduling since no PTO is allowed the first year? Do you recommend ER or Acute Care platforms with Keystrokes. THANKS!!
