Does anyone else thinks this sounds

In Reply to: When's the best time to buy a house? - Luke S.

like a joke? What dude who is married comes on here and asks a bunch of chicks for advice about buying a house that he obviously cannot afford?

If this, in fact, is not a joke, then no, you cannot afford $2700 a month plus car expenses, food, baby expenses and all the other stuff on $75,000 a year!!!!

Another thing, those interest only loans are bad, bad, bad. They sound good in the beginning but in 5-10 years when you have to refinance, you are going to be in trouble.

Foreclosures are through the roof all throughout the country because of those silly loans. Just think about it.

Am I the only one who thinks...

That it is wrong for the workers, who are contracted to put new vinyl on our home, I just caught washing themselves off after a hard 12-hour day of work in 100 degree weather, in our nice, sparkling, clean pool?!?!?!?!

I am furious.  Now we are just renters, but I called the landlord and she is calling the company!  Just wondering if Im being a germaphobe sp? ??

They also ripped our grill cover, Im assuming putting the ladder over the top of it instead of moving it.

The first day they came they were sitting on our vehicle waiting for us to come to the door?!?!?!

Not sure if this is rude or not where they are from, but seems like here in the US of A, its pretty darn rude and if they are going to be here, they need to act a little more considerate!

Thanks for listening to the venting!!

My cat thinks he's a dog
He chases his tail and it's so funny to watch. My other cat who recently died used to beg at the table like a dog whenever we ate. She'd give you a pathetic look and put her paws up on your chair.
Should be she thinks he is
slow- I know better.
and I suppose she thinks she is...

*the moral compass*??? Whatever...they're both a joke!

And I also heard a while back that Trump probably doesn't have any more *disposable cash* as the rest of us...his personal bank balance is average, just like ours! All his money is in property, real estate, *young wives* etc...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

should be taking care of business, or else thinks the toy does too good a job and you will not want him. My DH and I have a few different toys, though we do not use them too much, use them more together than I do solo. As stated they can enhance the experience, try to show him that and use it together, or show him how to use it on you, but if that still freaks him out then I guess that is out and just keep it for yourself when he is not around. Mine would love it if I got more into them actually, just depends on the guy and how confident he is in himself I think.
Am I the only one that thinks this could be murder?

When her son died, Anna's mother went on TV and said that she thought he was murdered and said that she thought Anna was in danger.  Now Anna is dead.

There are a lot of people who are now going to profit now that both of them are dead.  The old billionaire's family now has a pretty good chance of keeping their money.  So the billionaire's family could have paid to have them both killed.  At the very least, they are saving millions in attorney fees.

If she does still have a claim to that money, her infant now is the sole heir to that, and the remaining parent stands to also get a huge part of that.  Her lawyer/husband now will inherit everything if he really is the father.  So, he could have killed them both for profit.

Then, there is the ex-boyfriend who wants his kid.  He could have killed her off to try to get his kid back and get a stake in the billionaire's fortune also.

And all of them had to know that since she always slurs her speech and has problems with drugs and alcohol, the public could easily buy that it was an accident or suicide.

Friend who thinks they know everything

I have a friend who is very opinionated and thinks she knows everything.  A lot of people do not like her but I think we get along because I'm pretty laid back.  Our kids take dance at the same place.  My child just got asked to be on the competition team.  Her child has been on it a couple of years.  My kid missed one class because she was sick.  This was just a regular class.  They have not starting competition practice yet.  I mentioned that she would be missing again this week because we are having dinner at nursing home with hubbys father who is 85 and is not able to come for Thanksgiving on the night of dance class.  She then says to me if it were gymastics she would not miss.  (She is a talented gymnast which she loves more than dance.) My friend then tells me it is not fair for the people who care.  I guess meaning the parents who bring their kids to class.  My child will only miss two classes, one because she was sick.  She is usually always there.  My friend got me so mad.  I think it was her attitude more than anything.  She never knows when to keep her opinions to herself and this is an ongoing thing with her no matter what the subject is.  I swear she just likes to argue about anything.  Do you think I am overreacting or would you be mad too?

Just wondering who thinks
Keira Knightley is pretty?  Her face is plastered everywhere, but she always has her lip curled up in a snarl.  Anybody else notice that?  Does she every smile for pictures?
you don't know that for sure. He says he thinks he's an alcohol.

My DH just turned 70 - Thinks he is 40 ##

That seems to be what Simon thinks
and I agree they will probably do well. I think the guy in the red/orange suit - lol - will be going home. He was sort of terrible. David is it? The 17 year old. Just how much cuteness can one have? LOVE HIM! But I am just drooling over the guy that sang c'mon baby light my fire and oh yes I definitely would! Is he hot or what? lol. I can't wait to see the girls tonight. I just love this show.
I am the only one that thinks something is up with this story..
Things just don't add up..Fourteen years ago she was a virgin, first child is 14 years-old and she was 26 years old 14 years ago, which makes her 40, but later she states she is going on 43. She had a 1-1/2 year-old, 6-month-old and 8 months pregnant..hmmm. That makes her having gotten pregnant BEFORE the 6-month-old was born. Later, she is pregnant and they are 9 months and 1-1/2 years old. Then, she stated that her 12-year-old tonight (keyword here) had a fight with her dad but later this same child is 13, just turned, so I'm guessing on the same day? which is tonight. Just a lot of inconsistencies. I'm not sure why or how someone would make this up but I just find it odd. Maybe someone needs attention.
I swear he thinks he's a dog
He's constantly into everything, and is more curious than a cat! I plan on doing eventing with him, but I want to let him get nice and big before I start riding him! He's going to visit the vet as soon as it cools off a bit more though, he's started thinking with the wrong brain if you know what I mean!

I let him out into the front yard to eat grass a lot because we don't have a lot in the pasture and I think he gets tired of his round bale. Well a couple of weeks ago I had my truck loaded up with some rubbermaid boxes of stuff I was taking to the church and I came out the next morning and the lid was off of everyone and he had dug through EVERYTHING!

I love him though, he's my kid! I can't wait til I can get my other boy in with him, but he's still at my moms until we move somewhere with more land. This is a picture of him with my mom. I call him Danny Boy. He's a 17.2 hand warmblood. (My mom is 5Ǝ so you can see how big he is!)

what the kennel thinks
When I was a kid a spoiled dog got "Gainsburger"

Now the kennel I take my dog to thinks my dog is spoiled because she gets raw chicken.

I think it is all brainwashing by "experts" and I adamantly disagree about vast improvements in our food industry for humans or animals.
My son says he thinks Walmart

pizza is the very best, and he is my super picky eater.  We get them often.  The pepperoni is quite greasy but you can dab off the extra grease with a paper towel.  If they have the canadian bacon thin crust, grab one and enjoy!  I recommend those above all other flavors.  Yum!

DH thinks the Chlydesdale box was cooler than ever

Only he does not think it should be used for something the kids can tear up.  He thinks we should use it for something else, maybe something to store blankets in or maybe his deer hunting gear.  So I guess I did pretty well at that G-sale.  I even bought Little Touch Leap Frog book with all the cartridges for $18

I don't really think Gene Simmons thinks he should
be fired from anything. I could not believe his arrogance. I was really glad that Donald got rid of him. I was sort of scared he might keep him just for ratings.
My SIL thinks it is hysterical when her children
make really loud remarks and start coughing aroung smokers. I think it is totally rude. I don't allow my children to do it cause I personally would never do it. You are so right about the fact that we don't openly criticize others for what we think are bad habits. It is your life, do what you want. Just wanted to share something that was funny, we went to a benefit dance last week for the American Cancer Society and I went outside to use my cell phone. I had to walk through all the smokers, and I laughingly said "Dear God, this is a cancer dance." Everyone laughed so I don't think anyone was offended and it truely was a joke. I don't like to be around cigarette smoke, but I also don't drink in front of certain people, so who am I to say anything?

Dear Ms Thinks she is responsible
Truely funny how pitbull owners go on the defensive with what other dogs do. I am sure animal control knows how to be around and handle but even these people are attacked by these dogs. I rescue animals (not these as I want no responsibility for their acting out)but where I rescue these dogs are not adopted out, just put down. Even the people who are in the "know" so to speak do not want to be responsible.

Point is the owner thinks it's fine so why not?!
Same for dogs or cats or birds or snakes.

Having a pet is a personal choice and it should be kept on personal property or areas specifically designed FOR having pets.

Me thinks she got the boot ...Barbara Walters
She said she just wanted to do this show after Barbara Walters asked her to, because she loved Walters. She said she never really wanted to do daytime TV anymore, that they wanted her for 3 years instead of 1. She said she has some agreement to come back and do episodes on autism and depression. She is to leave at the end of June. Something tells me because of her big mouth, the powers that be aren't giving her the bucks she wants because they're secretly hoping she won't come back fulltime.

PS: Re: the puking - If your cat eats dry food, are you feeding a high-quality variety like Iams, Science Diet, or Royal Canin, and not the junk-food? (Meow-Mix, Deli-Cat, etc.) That stuff gave a former male cat ureteral calcium stones that ended up killing him. A couple weeks before he developed urinary blockage, he started barfing alot.

A trip to the vet for a blood test might be in order, too. But if it's hairballs, be sure to add lots and lots of combing-out (even for a short-hair, to get the undercoat) to the hairball remedy routine. :)

Disagree-it is NOT human nature. My husband thinks that too (sm)
My husband covered his fishing pole in the back of his truck one day because he said some "average Joe might walk by and take it" because it was just too tempting with it showing. Average Joe wouldn't rummage through the truck and take it - that would just make him a thief, but if Average Joe saw a fishing pole there in plain sight, he might take it. That is wrong to say that you cannot expect someone to come into your home and work for ou and not take anything, that it is human nature. It is NOT human nature. It is stealing and it is wrong. I am not perfect by any means but if I was working as a housekeeper I would not take anything that was not mine.
Well said and I guess the other poster thinks the people on the news are all racist as well! lol

You may be, from the sounds of your posts, sounds like an *illegal*

He sounds wonderful...sounds like you two have a relationship (sm)
based on love and nothing superficial at all. I'm glad you appreciate him and are so grateful for him. Best wishes & continued happiness to you both :-)
Sounds like you are doing everything right...

Hang in there.  It sounds to like you are doing everything right.  I totally agree that kids are under too much pressure these days and that they certainly need to be given more time to just be kids.  Being a single mom I try make sure that my children grow up to be responsible adults with good morals and values, but I also make sure that they have their space so they have a chance to make their own choices (when possible) and see the consequences of those choices.  Being a parent is certainly not easy and doing it in today's society is stressful to say the least.

As for your neighbor, I think she could take some lessons from you.  Good luck and keep your chin up!!!

Sounds to me like . . .
she has the attention she wanted, it's almost like you took her bait. She sent you nasty Emails and now you are begging her to forgive you. You know the the saying "Don't cast pearls before swine". Sounds like she can more easily respond to the negative rather than the positive. Anyway, what would you do if she forgave you? Be her friend again? Until she changes her heart, you're better off, keep your distance. She sees your goodness as weakness. It's probably fun for her to make you uncomfortable. Maybe deep down she is jealous of you. Don't hate her, be sad for her. Don't fall into her games.
sounds like a CC I used to have, which did--sm
pretty much the same thing. They said it was their *annual fee* and, like you, I just paid it to keep the peace and close the account. Personally I think it is a scam just to get a few more dollars out of you, but how do you prove it and who do you complain to??? I don't have credit cards any longer either. Learned my lesson too. what a rip!

your FIL has two abled bodies to care for him already.  Why should you go back?  It would probably be nice if you checked in once in a while and took your 2-year-old to visit, but moving back sounds like it would put a strain on things.  Your husband may be feeling guilty and feels the need to "help".  Explain to him that helping is taking some groceries once in a while or offering to pick-up meds, etc.  You, your husband, and child would be probably a breath of fresh air once in a while if you were to just visit on occasion.  Moving back seems a little like overkill, but it is tough because when it is family you want to give it your all!  Also, there is one in every family that "freeloads".  Let them figure it out for now.  Hope your FIL is feeling better soon and hope you can find your way to be helpful without having to sacrifice your new home....  Take care and good luck...
sounds mean . . .sm
but when my daughter and husband were pulling that on me I told my daughter it was not safe that she could die very easily in the front seat or get hurt very badly. She quit asking, daddy quit doing it. Now she is 12-1/2 and no problem there, she is 5Ƌ" and weighs about 130 pounds. But I used to get SO FRUSTRATED!!! Daddy's little girl . . . .

like a good time.  if you are in for an evening away from the parks. I have friends who own Sleuth's dinner theater.  Three theaters, dinner included, plus one is only for kids, I think.  You enjoy a great dinner, and a murder mystery play, where you take part in solving the mystery.  It is right on Universal Drive and I think the website is sleuths.com
sounds like your going to anyway.
but i would urge you to proceed with caution, go very very slowly. When it seems too perfect, too good to be true, it may be wrong. One of my first thoughts is that if he is the spiritual man you think, ie, Christian, he might not have had 2 divorces -- not always the case, but often times. you both need to know what your own faults are and be careful to not make the same mistakes. More than anything (outside of knowing each other very well, nonintimately) is have real committment on both sides, the determination to stay with the marriage. i married a man with 2 divorces too -- 25 yr later we're still married. But it was sheer determination to make it work on my part, lots of prayer and such. I did endure what one should not have to, to get to this point. Once i was into it, i certainly understood how come he had been divorced twice. Wishing you the best.
Sounds like now as of this a.m.

Apparently the so-called lawyer owns a business called Hot Lips Smoochy or something like that and has never tried any cases at all.  He is apparently the executor of her estate.  Now isn't that convenient?  He tells the photographer Daddy that she lost the baby, but she winds up having a baby anyway 9 months later.  The photographer breaks it off with her because she is drinking while pregnant.  Oh my, the gossip.  She looks like she's all drugged-up on any interviews I've seen, and I saw one last night from 3 days before her death.  She is wearing dark glasses for the first part (inside), and they go outside, and she takes the glasses off.  Makes no sense.  I don't know, but what does Granny want with the baby now?  That poor baby!  So many Daddies??????  I have never seen men trying to prove they ARE the father in all of my life?  Twists and turns this story has, which I'm sure has the producers in Hollywood salivating.  There will be books and there will be moves.  Life happens, I guess.

It sounds to me like you are not even willing --sm
to compromise on this and want everything YOUR way. What arrangement does HE want? Do you even know? You never said what HE would like. It is just my opinion, but it does not sound like you are even ready to get married, if you cannot find a way to compromise on even this small detail. Good luck to you.
Sounds to me like you were just being
very thoughtful, and I bet he appreciates you as much as you seem to appreciate him. What a wonderful thing!
