Here's what I do.

I have a local ISP that is not affiliated in any way, shape or form with offshoring.  I built my computer myself.  However, I'm thinking of buying an American made Polywell computer after I do some more research.  http://www.polywell.com/us/index.asp

I drive a classic Ford that has no computerized parts.  I closed down all of my credit cards because their CS is overseas.  I won't go to any medical provider that doesn't use local transcriptionists.  Granted, it's tough to find American made products most of the time.  Given the choice, I'll pay more for American made.
