I completely disagree. Taylor is very marketable. He has charm, personality and CAN SING!

I disagree completely. Please SM
It is MY job to ensure MY work product is as error-free as possible. Just because I get paid piecemeal does not give me license to just send it to QA for the sake of make a few extra pennies.

As far as your statement on the influence on our paychecks, you're right on -- but for a different reason. Because of higher quality, you will qualify for incentive plans, be offered more variety in worktypes, and when the chips are down STILL HAVE A JOB.

I NEVER want to be paid by the hour again, regardless. Minutes are NOT tick-tocking away at my pay! I'm too fast AND skilled to ever limit myself in that fashion again!
I don't find her marketable
nor do I find Chris creepy. Sorry Taylor fans but I kind of find him Creepy. LOL.

I have a feeling Simon's first comment on Tuesday night will be "America got it wrong!!!"

Acute care is more marketable. Go with

This works like a charm. Thanks so much!
nm
Thank you! Worked like a charm. sm

He will be turning on the charm 100%. Don't listen to it. sm
And you've never tried God as an option before? Well, if you wish, tell him to get some God on his own while you and your children are safe someplace else.

You're stoked right now, which is great, but don't let it fizzle out with husband's pleas and lack of abuse in the meantime. It WILL happen again if you stay. Anybody who knows anything about abuse will tell you that. The center you contacted will tell you that, too. Listen to the experts.

Bravo on actually contacting your parents and Swan. However, you said they can hide you out if you actually need to go. Hello? You actually need to go. Now. You were just hit 2 weeks ago. You're feeling in control and all, but it WILL happen again. Yes, you are in danger. Your husband is scared right now. He senses the loss of control. However, this is a cycle. When you stay, and things get a bit more distant, they'll resume some sort of normalcy. It'll build up, and he'll blow. What will happen next? You know you've got someone who has abused you as recently as 2 WEEKS ago, and you say you're not in danger and you're willing to let your CHILDREN LIVE under the same roof as someone who WILL eventually blow again, and maybe hurt them next time?

It's not just about being hid out when (not if) things get ugly again. You need to work toward a permanent plan, not just a crisis plan. There are other places besides this one you've called, ones who can give you some counseling and advice on how to leave and make it on your own with your children.

I wish you would listen and leave, but I have a feeling you're going to wait til next time. Do you know it takes women an average of SEVEN times leaving their abusive spouses before they finally leave for good? How many times will you let it take you? And what will be the cost to you and your children before you finally "get it?"
Well how simple! Worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!!

It's a personality test... sm

It is the Meyer-Briggs personality test. There are four componts that show how you relate to the world.  Take the test.  When you get your results, do a Google search to find a description.  I've taken several Meyers-Briggs tests, and I always come up an INFP.  I've read the descriptions of my personality, and I think it is dead-on right.

First Letter:  I or E, which stands for introversion or extroversion

Second Letter:  N or S, which stands for intuition or sensory

Third Letter:  T or F, which stands for thinking or feeling

Fourth Letter:  P or J, which stands for perceiving or judging

I use Hask serum - works like a charm. I have tried many others
and they leave your hair feeling yuk, heavy and gross. Hask serum leaves my hair straight, no frizz, light and airy and feels smooth and silky.

I have natural curly-wavey hair and on top of that it is foiled. So, I have a double whammy! Hask serum really works wonders.

I also use Aveda deep penetrating conditioner 2x a week. Love that product also.
Good luck!
I love piggies! They have such personality. :) nm

I really like Elliott, but personality may be his downfall.
NO WAY for McPhee, too pitchy.

Gotta love Taylor, too. Lots of show quality. WOO-HOO!
Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder...

You just described my ex, and he has passive aggressive personality disorder and oppositional defiant disorder.

Here's a description:  http://www.toad.net/%7Earcturus/dd/papd.htm.

I would also recommend reading "Why Does He Do That?  Inside The Minds of Angry and Controlling Men" by Lundy Bancroft.  You can buy it at Barnes and Noble and amazon.com.

My ex loves to annoy people for the fun of it.  The only way you can get him to do anything is to tell him not to do it.  And, of course, he is extremely controlling.  It is just my opinion, but I think that people with these types of personality problems just shouldn't be married to anyone.  Every time my ex gets a new girlfriend, I really just want to give the poor girl a hug.  If your husband has this type of personality, you really should divorce him.  Life is just too short to spend it with someone who makes everyone around them miserable.

They say that this is the most difficult personality disorder to live with..

My therapist said that of all the personality disorders/mental illnesses, this is the one that is the most difficult to live with, and I think that it even mentions that in the diagnostic criteria.  Once my ex was diagnosed, a huge weight lifted off of me, and I no longer felt so much anger and frustration.  I can't tell you how good it feels AFTER you divorce someone like this.  Suddenly the world just seems wonderful when you don't have to deal with them anymore.

There's something about George. Easy charm and he doesn't try tooo hard

regarding his looks or dress.   He is a guy's guy.

Thanks! That macro worked like a charm using the copy/paste method.
.
Good grief...multiple personality disorder???

I sing to just about anything in the car.
I have to or I get road rage.  Music soothes this savage beast.  LOL
In her case, I'm guessing personality or mental disorder. After all, they are pretty common. NM
x
I want him to sing that song
zx
I will sing praises until the day I die!
I just ADORE Instant Text Pro! It comes with glossaries to give you a boost and they are VERY helpful. I've had mine for 2 years or a little more and I do 285 lph consistently (more with my fave doctors). Before Instant Text, I was doing about 115 or so. I love IT and am available any time if you have questions!
What's your favorite sing-along song when alone in your car?
Mine are Rose-Colored Glasses and Crazy by Patsy Cline.
Hearing birds sing - nm
xx
Not enough money for me to sing in public!!
But, my 3 sons all do this all the time. The youngest sounds like Johnny Cash, and actually is requested to sing his songs a lot (even in the yuppie bars). My nieces (did I spell that right?? That word always evades me) all sing karaoke too.

I've heard some great singers in karaoke, and some bad ones. Frankly, I admire their nerve to stand up and perform. I have horrid stage fright (and yes, I can carry a tune).
She did not sing it "WEEKS AGO", it was last week, during
x
Kelly can sing Country and there are
probably more Country fans out there than the others. She has a strong fan base. I doubt she will be going home anytime soon. I tried calling for 2 hours last night and could not get through on her lines so ended up texting. She does play the dumb blonde a little to much for me though.
who did chris sing with? They could have been twins...
Never caught the name of the group, but Chris sure did sing better then the lead singer. LOL.
Oops. . . .that's supposed to say sing, not sign :o)
x
I have a doctor who will sing his reports every once in a while, love it. (nm)
x
Barbara can sing - Celine yells and shouts- nm
x
I think Chris is fabulous as long as I like the song he sing, LOL
The Queen one tonight was over the line for me, though I'm sure he did it well for those who enjoy a song like that.
You can tell I'm not an expert but what is INXS? I mean the songs the bottom three sing are INSX

I have never heard of them and they sound kinda metal to me.  What category does INXS fall into?     I said I know very little about the music that these people are singing for the most part.  Is Nirvana metal?

Thanks.

i love cowboys, hardworking hardriding and they can sing too! Lord have mercy.

Big and burly and ever so sweet and patriotic and humble.  God bless America and my singing cowboys.

Girlie boy-men not so much.

Saw him on CMT show with John Fogarty. Great, great singer with a neat personality and drop dead
gorgeous without seeming to know it.
Regarding Taylor... Is it just me or....

has he gone from a rather sloppy looking spazz to looking pretty sexy?  Okay, maybe it's because he seems a little older than the rest because of the gray hair (he's 16 years my junion), but he's kinda HOT these days!  Last night when he was danced I was thinking........ Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Can't wait to see him do Elvis next week.

Go Taylor! nm
nm
Taylor-Taylor-Taylor

I hope it's Taylor...I'm anxious to see if anything goes on tonight about last week's shocker when Chris got kicked off...lots of stuff on the 'Net about voting being wrong, etc...have to wait and see.

 GO TAYLOR!!!

NO, YA NUT - Taylor isn't on anything....nm

Taylor will win. sm
Last week, all of Birmingham greated Taylor back home, and Kat only filled half a gym.  Taylor has never been in the bottom 3 and Kat has.  They are both going to be very rich, but Taylor will win.
Taylor
I loved Taylor tonight. I really liked the last song he sang. I just got done having an argument with my husband who thinks that Katharine will win and should win and that if Taylor wins he won't sell any records. He just doesn't get it. My daughter and I have been trying to vote for Taylor since the show ended, but can't get through.
taylor fan
Yes, Taylor, you make me PROUD!  He was so cute tonight!
I hope it's not Taylor!
He just had a bad week. Please spare Taylor :) My prediction is that it's Ace.
You are right--TAYLOR is HOTTTTT!
He gets hotter by the week! Yowza!!!! I know he's not married and haven't heard anything about a GF. Somebody better snatch him up, and quick! He's about 6 years younger than me--I can live with that!
Go TAYLOR!!!!!.....AI wants a male to win!! n/m

Taylor or Elliott
I'm rooting for Taylor or Elliott now that Chris is gone. I really don't want Katherine to win, but I have the feeling she will. Supposedly people are saying she's more "marketable"
My vote goes for Taylor
I must admit the first few weeks watching him was soooo annoying, but he has grown on me and I actually enjoy watching and listening to him sing and perform. He's good and I think he deserves to win! However, I must say I was confident that Chris would win, but unfortunately not. Therefore, my vote is for Taylor!!!!

GO TAYLOR, GO!
Agree Taylor!
I think Taylor will win it all. And I agree with what the poster said about Katharine. There is just something about her. When the judges say something bad she always has this look like, well that's what you think, but you're crazy.
According to Diaidol.com, Elliott is at the bottom, but it's very close. They're been right three weeks in a row.
I really like Elliott the best but I think Taylor
will win. I just think it's a shame if Kat is in the final two. I think Elliott completely deserves to be at LEAST 2nd. I think he will do well regardless and hope he gets a record deal out of this at least. He's different, Taylor is different, but nothing about Kat is anything but ordinary. Of course Chris was different too. I thought it would be cool to be down to the three guys. I think they're all unique, they all have completely different styles, and that's great. I think they ARE American Idols. They each highlight a different kind of music that Americans love. I really hope that Elliott stays tonight!
No worries, Taylor has it in the bag!!!!!! :-)
No doubt!
Taylor's family
Someone told me the woman with Taylor's dad is his stepmom.  Has his mom ever been on the show?
Taylor's LAST song did it for me!!!...sm

TAYLOR HICKS IS GOING TO BE THE AMERICAN IDOL......he's just more genuine!!!  Kat is good but whoever posted about Tori Spelling......I don't think Tori is THAT well liked......by the general public...so I don't know how that other poster thinks Tori can pull strings for Kat....

taylor hicks
It seemed strange not to be able to watch AI this week.  Just saw Taylor on the Today show-I love him!!!!  By the way, does anyone know about the black bracelet that he wears on his left wrist?  I noticed it when he was on AI and he still had it on today.
