I do want to thank all of you who did respond with some really good advice and thank you all so much for your support, but for the nasty ones on this board.  No my mother is not a control freak.  She is just really sick.  And no, I do not do it because of anything that I may "get" out of it.  I do it because I love my mom dearly.  I do not mind taking care of her, and as I stated before, if I had to take on another job to help in her care, I would.  She is and has always been there for me, and I just want to return the favor.  When I was born, I was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and my mom went through a lot of sleepless nights with worry and put her life on the back burner for all of us kids, because she loved me and the rest of my siblings.  I have just never been able to understand how kids can not even think about their parents.  I was not looking for sympathy.

I was feeling a little down the other night because I ran into one of my sister's friends and she was telling me about the gripes my sister had.

So, again to all of you with helpful answers thank you so much for taking the time to write.  I appreciate it.
