First..
Go get you mother on medicaid or medicare. Secondly, check out all of the manufacturer's names of her medications and go to each website and fill out the paperwork, take it to her doctors and try to get her free or reduced medications.
Once she is on medicare/caid, she will be eligible for housekeeping help, physical therapy, and another help she needs. If she needs blowers or portal O2, this will be taken care of.
Do this quickly. You are killing yourself.
As for the house, we have a segment of the news called 3onYour side and they have had situations shown on this show with contractors. Since this is so severe, there might be an agency that can be of assistance. Go to you local news affiliate and try. You need relief.
Just go through your yellow pages searching for agencies that can help.
There might be help for
...Transportation
...Utilities
...Food
...Housing
Have to do footwork and paperwork but it can be done.
Then, if the house can be fixed up, get a reverse mortgage and let her enjoy herself. email me if you need.
When you speak to anyone at social agencies, get a name, time and date. Keep a log.
