 http://prescriptiondrug-info.com/
There is a little pop-up but just close it.  It will also do part of the drug name, i.e., "cillin" or "exadine".    Here's a good drug web site for you
 http://www.pdrhealth.com/drug_info/index.html
try the drug interaction site sm

go to drugs.com and you can check interactions of medicines. I believe Advil and naproxen sodium are safe - but you can research this. FDA drug site & DocBoard

This one for drugs--especially the new stuff:http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/drugsatfda/index.cfm

Actosplus MET according to drug site

I try to avoid using Google for drugs because there is no way of knowing how old the information is and half of the time it has been added before the drug has been approved so the name may have changed.

You might want to add this drug website to your Favorites:  rxlist.com

I typed in “actos plus met” in the Find a Drug and this is what came up:

 Actoplus MET™
(pioglitazone hydrochloride and metformin hydrochloride tablets)

Actoplus MET (pioglitazone hydrochloride and metformin hydrochloride) tablets contain two oral antihyperglycemic drugs used in the management of type 2 diabetes: pioglitazone hydrochloride and metformin hydrochloride.

 Hope this helped.

Try Edward Mendelsohn's Site - Link inside
Hi if you don't get a reply with your own instructions back, you could try Edward Mendelsohn's site, he gives all the steps, is very clear on how to use Smartype on an XP computer, lots more info as well.
Link doesn't work, but none sell for more than $290 on the site.
Exactly which one did you pay $350 for?
Have you tried the AMA Doctor Find site? Link inside.

Good drug book vs. internet drug sites
I need to buy a new drug book.  At a prior job, about a year ago, one of the supervisors told me she used the internet exclusively.  What's the consensus and if you prefer the internet, which site or sites do you like.  Thanks in advance.

Several companies still train on site. In fact, we are piloting an on-site training sm
program, where everyone would come in to the Keystrokes office to train for 1 or 2 weeks. We have a large training room and feel that this may be a way to cover all aspects of an account, be right there to answer questions as they come up and have one-on-one contact.

It will be optional at this point and may not be more effective as remote training, but some people have expressed that they miss the training that you get when you start at a hospital.

We are trying to bridge that gap between working in-house somewhere and working at home.

It may seem out-dated in many ways, but sometimes going back to basics is a good step to take!
I have noticed sometimes I will try to get into a web site and that site will freeze up and I dont

know if I have too many screens opened up and minimized or what. I tried to open a website sent by email and froze up the email screen. Not sure what I am doing. what link? You failed to include link

I subscribe to another web site and within the boards on this site they have

Would anybody be interested if adminstrators would allow us to have this type of board or even put it on the main board.  Like on this other board they tell you to go to a certain web site for a coupon for 20% off Barnes and Noble or when Target has reduced prices on seasonal things.  Anybody got ideas or bargains they would like to share to save money?   We could call it the MT Stars penny-pinchers board. I think you forgot the link? I don't see a link
 to check this out....sounds interesting.....
What are you asking? Is this a drug--yes, sm

Would be interested which is your fave drug reference source on the web for spellings, dosages, etc. - preferably one that doesn't result in tons of spam for illegal drug purchases - is there such a place?
 Drug Screens
You are right! I would not be offended if asked to take a drug test - nothing to hide. I do not want someone having privy to my personal info who is on drugs and acting irresponsible. Had my identity stolen once, it is a nightmare to get straightened out. Don't want my SS# and other private info going to other countries either.

 drug reference

I always use Drugs@FDA.  I have it in my favorites:  http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/drugsatfda/
You can look up drug names by using as few as three letters.  I find it's quick and efficient, and it's free, and because it's the FDA it's the latest info on drugs.
