 What I have done when "gigged" by QA or QC is email my supervisor and ask for an explaination, they have always straightened things out and even corrected the QA person when they were wrong.  Be happy you get QA help back, I haven't seen any in months and believe me I am in great need :-) Have even requested it but they never respond. Oh well their problem not mine.  Save memos of everything, document everything and always CYA...
