I have NEVER said that it was my "job" to correct QA.  I only pointed out that I have seen mistakes on reports edited by QA that even someone with little experience as you put it could see. I have just over 2 years -- not like I am a newbie. I know there is a lot I have to learn and I do enjoy feedback because it helps me grow.  However, there is no need to be smart when a simple mistake is made.  And for your information I did NOT chop up a paragraph.  I left a blank per missed word as per company regulations. I typed whatever I could CLEARLY understand.  We are not to guess but rather blank -- they encourge it, which is what I did -- nothing more.  It is just one QA at the company that treats MTs this way the others all offer a pat on the back when due and kind and helpful hints when blanks are left or mistakes are made.
