I do not think that editing is a higher skill, it is different. I reject the idea that a l l editing, esp. VR, goes faster than straight transcribing. It all depends on the 'quality' of the VR.
If the quality is bad, it takes even m o r e time to correct it than typing it straight from dictation.
And I dislike the idea that one line VR is paid only half of one line straight transcription.
As said, it depends on the quality of the draft document received on the screen. My experiences till now were not good.
