not sooooo
They threw tear gas on them and the crowd threw them back.  They don't know why the started firing their guns.  There was an undercover agent there that some suspect fired his gun or gave the motion to fire.  but that is just speculation.  As far as declaring war, Nixon did declare the invasion of Cambodia, which is what started the rioting in the first place.  I never said a word about Vietnam.  My father was working at the University at the time as a teacher.  I am quite sure he remembers it well.
You are sooooo right
Just like it is correct to single space between spaces. No wonder they claim they have saved a client money. Cutting down on spaces and also employee wages will do that.
sooooo right!!
DITTO THAT!!
thanks sooooo much!! (nm)

Sooooo, how'd you get online?

Oh, I sooooo understand...
I know it's time for a break when I start talking, no, YELLING back at the dictator!!
It is SOOOOO obvious who you are
And it was so obvious last night who you were as you were posting with different names about what you were "eating". Please.

I am NOT starting flames. I was trying to let the OP know that not everyone on this site is mean and nasty. This place has really become a hole in the wall since you started frequenting the joint. Makes me wonder why I waste my time.

You are SOOOOO correct! (sm)
What an eloquent, on-the-money (no pun intended!) post that was. You are so right. A few other things that bother me about AAMT:
1) Didn't they come up with the job title "transcriptionIST"? I've always had an issue with the "ist" at the end, which seems in my mind to feminize the job. I still call myself a "transcribER". People try to tell me a transcriber is the voice-recording machine, but it does NOT transcribe - WE do! It merely records & plays back!

2) It also strikes me as totally hypocritical of AAMT to charge US MT's a premium price for EACH TIME they take their little test, just for a meaningless CMT after their name, while AT THE SAME TIME bringing the pay we receive for our time, expertise, education, etc., lower and lower every year.

Talk about a SCAM and a RACKET.
I used to waste sooooo much time
looking things up, then get sidetracked, etc. When I started using the stopwatch, I wouldn't reset it until the end of my shift. I just started it running everytime I stopped typing and then stopped it when I started typing again. At the end of the day I nearly FAINTED when I saw how much time I was losing.

I have a 3 to 5-minute limit now. I start that watch and in 3 minutes if I am no where near finding the information, I put a blank and go on. If I feel I've almost found what I'm looking for, I continue but at 5 minutes I call it quits and it gets a blank to QA.

Don't hardly ever send blanks to QA because I can send 2 blanks to the hospital without any trouble.

Still, it helps me keep on task and at the end of the day I can see where I have not been productive if my lines are really sucky. LOL LOL LOL
My VR platform is sooooo good that
some reports are almost 100% correct, very little editing required. I have noticed, though, it gets he and she mixed up and also does not know its numbering so usually watch those carefully. I am so custom to editing now that I see words everywhere that someone should have "edited."
I understand completely!! I'm sorry because that has got to be sooooo hard to do! nm

LOL! I remember static problems that were sooooo bad sm
that our technician told us to never wear nylon or silk undies, and to only wear cotton!
That is such good news, I am sooooo happy for you and Tom Kitty
