I also saw the part where she was fired for using the credit cards for her own personal use. I thought others might like to see the article and read it for themselves since it is a topic for discussion today. I would say with her being fired, that demeans her credibility. I in no way intended to spread gossip, just posting the link since the story is out there.

I read on the link I posted that he lived in the building -
it said he lived there and had every right to be there. I am not sure where it is.
Don't think you read the same article, THAT IS THE TITLE...see the link I posted...

When I posted the link,
ontheissues.org.

You don't have to look beyond the posted link to
figure out why that might be...."the governments are more generous with benefits." Since the $28/hr wages of UAW workers jump to $73/hr when benefits are factored in, one might assume that the European citizens who those factories employ are the recipients of those government-provided benefits, which of course relieves that burden for those overseas GM divisions. Also, I fail to see how we can learn any lessons from them in terms of the AMERICAN workers we would like to see stay employed stateside.

It even gives the name of the site. You will find many more news sites about this just by searching for something along the lines of Palin+increased threats.
I posted the link for this earler. s/m
It's very obvious that there are many on this board that have no desire to hear someone brilliant with first-hand knowledge explain something they don't understand.  I personally felt the interview gave a very thorough common-sense explanation of what this administration is trying to accomplish.  They don't want to hear intelligence, they just want failure, no matter what.  So sad and pathetic, and very un-American.
I did, and found what I remembered, that's why I posted the link. nm

I posted the entire article, but I MUST be LYING! LOL! Link inside. sm

I didn't post a link, I posted a smard alek

reply that I think got deleted.......not unjustly.  It was dripping in sarcasm.  LOL  I believe the article it is on Yahoo news though, my husband said something about it.  I didn't post a link to it, probably someone else.

We can all agree to disagree.  What I would like for everyone to do is research the facts for themselves.  I've always felt like you can belive nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

I'm not against immigration and I don't think Lou Dobbs is either. I'm all for LEGAL immigration.  I even researched Mexico's immigration requirements and that ought to be an eye-opener for anyone who wants to compare immigration policies.  I am dead set against ILLEGAL immigration.  What I don't understand is what about ILLEGAL do people not underestand.  AND both Obama and McCain are in favor of giving people who have broken the law a "path to citizenship" translated means amnesty.  That didn't work too well  under Reagan and it won't work now which is one thing I have against both candidates because the path to citizenship is one thing they agree on but you don't hear either one of them talking about it.  That's an issue to  me.  No need to worry about terrorists when our borders are wide open and terrorists could stroll right on across our borders any time they so desired and neither NEITHER of these candidates have anything to say about that.  Why?  I'll tell ya, they both don't want to offend the Latino vote and I don't think they care whether the voters are legal or not.

Did you even read what you posted!
The last paragraph says it all.  Obviously some thought went into this and do you really think if he was NOT an atheist, he would not have sued by now.  There were 49,000 Google hits. I am not going to do your work for you.   At any rate, I don't care if you believe it or not. It makes no difference to me.
I don't think you will get it...Re-read the numbers I posted...nm

I posted below when I read those two items and
ALSO read comments from other readers. Other people should read them. It's a real eye opener!
I think perhaps you read a different article than the one posted by Lurker.
nm
Re-read your post...what I meant was you posted...
you said he had breakfast with OBAMA bin Laden, not OSAMA bin Laden. Clearly you did not mean to..just pointing out that you did indeed type Obama, not Osama. Just like Teddy Kennedy said in speeches twice...Obama bin Laden instead of OSAMA bin Laden.

And what kind of proof do you have that Bush Sr. had brunch with bin Laden? Maybe a member of the bin Laden family, but certainly not Osama. Good lord. LOL.

And just as an aside...what proof is there that Bush Sr. was having brunch with ANY of the bid ladens??
Here's a link that should help those that can read

The Election Choice: McCain and Obama on the issues

http://online.wsj.com/public/page/election-choice.html

I did read the whole link and
Every nutcase leftwing comment about it trying to defend them.

The reason I posted is because it's a fact that snopes is not a credible source to get your information from. Snopes is run by a couple of leftwingers. They interject their opinion and try to debunk things that are most definitely true. One being that they would say certain things were hoaxes when in fact they were true and we know this because we'd pull up Youtube and there it was right on camera. Example: Snopes said that the email going around that the O is going to cut back veterans benefits is a hoax. The fact is it was not a hoax. I was watching a talk show and a lady in the Obama administration said it's true and that she was not happy about it, but "blah, blah, blah" (give some lame excuse as to why they were doing it). Hence...snopes outright lied about information that is true. The couple that runs snopes are not credible sources for any truth. They are a couple with an agenda and I'm sure get paid plenty for it.

That was the reason for my post - because anyone who tries to back up what they want uses the excuse "check it out on snopes first". Well snopes has been debunked on many issues. They put out false things that benefit the left wingers and demonize anyone who has a conservative or moderate point of view.

It's just very simple. Snopes is not a credible source for truth or fiction. If you want to find out the truth check multiple sources (and don't even try to pull a "Fox news thing" because I'm not suggesting anything about Fox news. I'm saying check out multiple sources. Do not just stick with one source. And certainly not snopes!!!

Good lord!!!!!
Did you even read the link you provided?
Obama is requiring community service not military service. Community service is a constructive way to spend time and energy. War is a destructive way to spend time and energy.

Obama also said that he would provide a college education to anyone who volunteers to do community service. This can only help make the United States a stronger and better nation. It sounds like a wonderful plan to me!

The following is from the link you provided:

The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
You obviously failed to read the entire link.
to back up her claims. I don't need to research this further. I was a 40+ grown-up when the confirmation hearings were held and I remember them vividly, since it was one of the most blatent miscarriages of justice I have witnessed first-hand in my entire life. I was a bit more naive back then but now, of course, I understand completely how the Bushes operate and how this could have happened under their watch.
See link inside for his website - read for yourself sm

You believe there is a hidden "reptilian invasion / agenda"?? Really? and those of us who don't see it are the deluded ones?
I hope you can find that link. I'd love to read about that study.
Wouldn't poetic justice be served if it was discovered that the conservative brains lit up on the left side?
post the link only, not the whole article and the link. See rules for posting.

This looks interesting. A long read, so will read it when I get home from work. nm

Obviously u didnt read, I said NONE of them are moral. Read the post before spouting off.

I read on CNN (yes, I do read liberal stuff too..hehe)...sm
...that Karl Rove was actually very disappointed in the McCain campaign for airing negative type ads against Obama.

So I would say that Rove is definitely not in the hip pocket of the McCain campaign.
Good research sam - but a lot to read right now so gotta read it later
I've been goofing off too much from work. I appreciate what you wrote and will read when I'm done with work here.
Wow, I can't believe you posted that. sm
considering all else you have posted on these boards.  LOLOLOLOL!!!  Man oh man!
who posted it?
I suspect it was the person who goes under the name Brunson who posted the Army mom post as in the post it talks about C-Span and I kind of thought..mmmmm..this is just one of those crazy right wingers posting to start stuff..So right after the post came through, I checked out the right wing board and Brunson was posting the same thing about checking out C-Span today.  Coincidence?  I dont think so..Two posters within one minute posting about checking out C-Span today?
She posted this as a
She stated above the reference to the Clinton body count and that it was a conspiracy theory.  The statement of someone above *It seems that people that sue Bush turn up in bad health or dead* is every bit as much a conspiracy theory as this.  Someone on both boards has been trying to spam us with conspiracy theories for days now none of which have an ounce of substance or actual fact behind them.  Most of us can see the difference between conspiracy and an actual story with facts behind them.  It's really hard to get away with conspiracy theories when there is so many facts out there on the net.
This has been posted before. sm

And is in no way or shape complete or accurate.  Rumsfeld served 3 years.  You think a flight instructor is a small job?  That's pretty telling.  Clinton dodged the draft by deferring for a ROTC duty, which he never fulfilled after writing his famous loathing of the military letter. So if we are going to post these lists again and again, let's get it right.

Well, as I posted before...
...it's probably good that you love something, even if it's based on cruelty and mockery.
Do you really mean what you just posted?
Do you actually liken Gitmo to the Hanoi Hilton? Seriously??
Yes, I just posted it too, right after you. sm
It brought tears to my eyes, that the Obama campaign could do such a thing.

And tears that McCain cares more, quite obviously, of our country and it's symbol.

Sorry. This should be posted
nm
yes! I posted below. Don't let

the Fox zombies drown out the truth on this board. Bless you.

When I first posted
I did not know who it was benefitting. I later found out it was benefitting Obama. Either way if it was benefiting McCain I'd still be saying this is not right. 11/4 is voting day. I'd say a sure fire way to comit fraud on the democrats side. Do the right thing and vote on 11/4.
I don't think they have posted the new one....
if they have, I can't find it.
This should have been posted under
nm
I posted before that I liked it better
when it was two boards, a liberal board and a conservative board. More intelligent discussion and less mudslinging back then. Three boards would be great, liberal, conservative and politics for anyone that just want to keep pubbing and demning as you say.
Not the OP who posted........sm
about "the reality of O" but my take on this phrase is that when he takes office and starts bringing to pass things that conservatives have been concerned about (detention/"reeducation" centers, civil army, further division of America, etc.), that will be "the reality of O." In other words, he will be revealed to be the charlatan that the liberals refuse to believe he is. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but I really believe this country has made probably the single biggest mistake in our history.
that is exactly why I posted it...n/m

I DID! I posted below too!
Sheesh!
I know what I posted.
x
Seeing as this was posted 11/13
And today is 11/17, I would say its a new article.

It's actually more than one person's opinion of Obama. One person may have written the article but thousands and thousands agree with him. Truth hurts.
It may be old to you but I had not seen it until I posted
So what.
you posted it as something

that would delight you.  Coward.  can;t even stand by your own messages.

I will say this again. I posted here because

the Red Envelope Project is a political protest again a godless president and his administration.  It is Obama who wants babies murdered on a global scale and wants U. S. taxpayers to fund it.

The next Red Envelope project will be defending the lives of the elderly, the infirm, the physically challenged, both children and adults, who will not receive healthcare benefits under a universal healthcare system, who will be mandated to have lifesaving measures withheld.  Rationed care.  Will you protest if it is your mother, father, sister, brother or will you say it's their "choice"?

This is Obama's agenda.  He is a president of death.  Red Envelope Project is a political protest supporting life and its participants are not all Christian.  Do you think it only Christians who think abortion is murder?  If you do, then you are totally uninformed.

Ob, but you do and you just posted it
.
I just posted this elsewhere...
About a friend's dad who recently died. lived in England and was denied CABG because he was too old. how old? He was 55 when he died. His physician admitted CABG would probably have saved his life but TOO OLD at age 55, so they let him die. Yes, we have problems with our system of health care, but at 55 I sure don't think I am too old to be worth saving! I don't want the government telling my physician what he can and cannot do in providing my care nor does my physician want this. I want my physician to make decisions that are based only on what I need to maintain my health, not what some governmental body tells him. And you can bet you bippy if your last name is Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, etc., etc., you won't be denied that CABG, only if your name is smith or Jones or the like.
