Ummm…so as long as it stayed under wraps, there's nothing to talk about except to blame the left for bringing the situation into the public eye? The left did not hold a gun to Palin's head and force her to accept the nomination, thus putting her unwed pregnant daughter's private life into the media's bullseye. Explain this to me. Being the novelty token female celebrity VP pick that she is, she didn't realize that her family would be subject to merciless, microscopic media scrutiny? This is what is meant by not being ready for prime time and up to playing with the big boys.
Her first clue might have been the disgraceful chat room, internet and cable TV media witch hunts the right has been on for months and months and more months with Obama, questioning his patriotism, his religious beliefs, portraying his wife as a militant version of Louis Farrakhan, the undercurrent politics of fear when suggesting he is a Moslem in disguise, the endless black liberation theology rants, socialism accusations, exploiting what has to be an extremely painful and deeply personal relationship to his estranged Kenya half-brother and the numerous other descriptions of smut politics that you all have taken such glee in participating in all along, which has transformed this board into the slander and insult contest/fest that is now be revolted against.
When does enough get to be enough for you? Go ahead. Blame the left and make utter fools of yourselves once again. But don't start crying foul when it comes back at you from the opposite direction. It is simple, really. Give respect, get respect. The double standand standard come back does not answer the questions everybody will be asking in days to come about her judgment, priorities, loyalties, etcetera. Deny to your hearts content, but it is what it is what it is.

The cities are next in line saying they want a bailout to keep city employees on the payroll and off the unemployment rolls. Sounds like blackmail (again) to me and not a loan this time either, but straight up pay up.
