It was blue long ago and turning blue now thanks to OBAMA THE HERO
nm
I have no clue why you added this Bush rant to my post...
George Bush did not single-handedly send troops to war. There is that little ol thing called Congress who have to vote to allow him to go to war, he can't just do it on his own. And guess what...they DID. Democrats and Republicans alike. I just don't understand why some Americans don't understand THAT. Blame it on George Bush, like he was King or something. He did not do it alone. And you are right, I will NEVER accept that ANY soldier died for no reason. How arrogant of anyone to even suggest such a thing. Our men and women in uniform go where they are sent and they do their duty. Shame on ANY American who would publically say those brave young men and women died in vain, I don't care what their politics are. To me, that reeks.

I also do not know why it is so easy for some Americans to totally ignore the many reasons we went into Iraq. Have you ever actually read the Iraq resolution passed by Congress? I seriously doubt it. Hussein was in violation of so many UN resolutions it would take a ream of paper to list them. And he did finance and harbor terrorists. One of the perps of the Achille Lauro hijacking lived out his miserable life there being given free medical care and a free ride by the Hussein government. Zarqawi had his little terrorist training camp up in Northern Iraq for a year before we went in. One of Hussein's higher ups met with Mohammed Atta a couple of months before 9-11. What do you think they were talking about? The weather?

I don't believe I even mentioned the President in my post. I believe we went into Iraq for a good reason, we had been hit and we had to hit back harder. We did so in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have not had another major attack since that happened. Wonder why that is...????

My point is, the President is not singly responsible for the war in Iraq. The Congress is just as responsible. So when you start to lay blame and malign the names of good men and women who died for something they believed in, even if you don't....you should spread the blame evenly. Get off the Hate Bush train and back into reality.
Bush first ex-prez to face limit on Secret Service protection

By Maria Recio McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON — President George W. Bush's "after-life," as Laura Bush calls the post-presidency, is shaping up to be pretty comfortable, with a Dallas office, staffers, Secret Service protection, a travel budget, medical coverage and a $196,700 annual pension, all at taxpayers' expense.

However, Bush will be the first president not to benefit from one former lifetime benefit: Secret Service protection.

"He'll be the first one to receive it for 10 years," said Malcolm Wiley, Secret Service spokesman. Congress changed the law in the 1990s so that any president elected after Jan. 1, 1997, and his or her spouse will receive the federal protection for only 10 years.

The Bushes will move to their new $2 million, 8,500-square-foot Dallas home — not paid for by taxpayers — on Jan. 20, and there Bush will be close to his future presidential library at Southern Methodist University.

"We're working on a conceptual design for the building," said Mark Langdale, president of the George W. Bush Foundation. The president will help develop the $300 million structure, which will include a library, museum and policy institute.

Fundraising is just beginning, Langdale said. Once the project is finished in 2013, the National Archives and Records Administration will take over the operation of the library and museum, at federal expense. Construction will be paid for with private funds, and Bush is expected to be involved in organizing the fundraising drive.

"He is enthusiastic about spending a lot of his time and effort working on the programs of the institute," Langdale said.

Bush will maintain an office nearby in space acquired by the General Services Administration, which, under the Former Presidents Act, will pay for the office suite and staff to assist him for the rest of his life.

Bush's pension, which is tied to the base pay of the most senior government executives and increases with federal cost-of-living adjustments, will be about half the $400,000 annual presidential salary. He and Vice President Dick Cheney will receive transition expenses as well for seven months — one month before the inauguration and six months afterward — "to facilitate their transition to private life," according to the Congressional Research Service.

The GSA also covers travel expenses for any official activities attended by a former president, as well as two staff members. Former President Bill Clinton was allocated $50,000 for travel in fiscal year 2008 and former President George H.W. Bush, $56,000.

Former presidents and their families are entitled to health care in military hospitals, although they have to pay a reimbursement rate set by the Office of Management and Budget.

Bush will receive a state funeral upon his death, with full military honors for the former commander in chief.

What 'change' means to me:
1) A government that works FOR and WITH American citizens, not AGAINST them.

2) At least an ATTEMPT to balance the budget. With all this country has to offer, we should be coming out AHEAD each year, not borrowing money.

3) Elected officials doing what they were elected to do, not lining their own pockets at the expense of the country's CITIZENS.

4) American workers being valued enough to be offered jobs with a good living wage and benefits package, and incentives for performance. NOT forcing everyone to be part-time/OC/or to work for pennies on the dollars their work is really worth.

5) In this country business has the freedom to begin, and if lucky, to grow from small to big, to HUGE. That good fortune should come with more responsibility. Part of the reason they're so successful is that they're in America. Part of the rewards of that success should in turn go into improving the infrastructure of the towns, states, and country, and more importantly, the WORKERS who make it possible for them to do business at all.

6) Somewhere along the line, this country has forgotten that our constitutional right to 'freedom of religion' ALSO means 'freedom FROM religion', for those of us who don't want it continually shoved down our throats. And it most definitely does NOT belong in the government. It belongs in the hearts & homes of its believers, and in church. NOT in the White House.

7) Change means not selling this country lock, stock and barrel to every country with lots of money to spend. It means not selling your soul or stomping & squashing the 'little guy' for the almighty buck.

8) Change means bringing some hope back to America again. Right now, and for the past 8 years, I personally have had no hope. I've watched my wages shrivel, as the expectations of how much work Im expected to produce per hour continues to go up. I've watched my rent grow, and the square footage of the apartments/studios I've rented go down and down. I've watched my car grow old before its time because I have no money to take care of it. I've had to do without seeing family members because there's nothing left over at the end of each month to afford to travel even a couple hundred miles. I have NO hope of ever seeing my family in Europe again. Unless there's a huge turnaround in the country & our economy, my flying days are OVER.

9) Change means taking care of our soldiers. If you're going to send them into harm's way, as we've done with so many these past years, then by golly, TAKE CARE OF THEM when they come home again. American soldiers should be:
a) Paid what they're worth, so their families don't starve while they're serving.
b) Not be lied to about when their tours of duty end.
c) They should be sent to war with the FINEST of equipment, not decrepit old stuff that's breaking down and risking their lives. And the fact that some have no bullet-proof vests, and their family ends up having to supply one for them, is a national disgrace. They should have the best of everything, not the worst.
d) When they're injured, they should get the BEST medical care, not what they're currently getting. Their benefits should take care of them and their families comfortably, not leave them in poverty.

10) And finally, change means taking care of our SENIOR CITIZENS. Most have worked hard all their lives, and too many are living in poverty. We boomers are in for a shock, 'cause lots of us will NEVER retire. We'll be working 2 jobs to make ends meet because our SS (IF we even get any) won't even pay for our gas each month. If we are going to be more and more resonsible for our own retirement, then we should be paid a wage that actually allows us to fund our IRA's each month, and not watch them languish, ignored & unfunded, as I've been doing for the last 10 years because my job now only pays enough to keep a roof over my head TODAY. But TOMORROW? The way things have been going the last 8 years, I find it harder and harder to even believe there will BE a tomorrow. When this place gets too expensive to rent, the next roof over my head will most likely be my CAR.

So the biggest CHANGE I'd like to see in this country is an administration that sees the big picture, sees how REAL Americans have to scrape by, and not just how things are up on Capitol Hill.

I have Blue Shield, and can hardly get them
At least with national, I have a fighting chance to get to see a doctor.
Ole Tn girl myself also and I am a blue
dot in a red state right next to you now. Whereabouts in TN are you? I am glad to say my property taxes are going down this year from over 2,000 to 800- well I have become old enough they believe I no longer have children in public school so am finally getting a break. My property assessment comes out really close to the end of the year so will have some bubbly later on to celebrate. Long time coming!
Since when is Georgia a blue state?
Just wondering.
And even though my property value went down in a blue state...
my taxes still went up. That's what goes on in a Democratic-controlled state. They sent my assessment that valued my home at $40,000--yes $40K less than last year and my taxes STILL went up. And you can bet property taxes in Washington are higher than those in Tennessee. I can't rent my home out for what my payment is, so each month, we lose money because we can't sell it with the housing market the way it is and did the right thing when we financed, by NOT financing a home we could not afford with an ARM. Luckily, we got a really good deal, so the house is still worth more than we paid for it, but not much and it doesn't really matter anyway because, like I said, we can't sell it. I think that I would be happy if your property values stayed the same, rather than falling.
Q. What’s black and blue and dead all over?

A. Anyone who dares to tell a joke about President Obama in public.

  It's funny cause it's true...

But such a lovely blue folder!
What a bunch of whack jobs those Republicans are! I hear that there was a lovely picture of a windmill in the folder but no numbers. Now that's the kind of budget the Republicans can vote for!

Maybe the final Republican budget will be done as a pictorial, so their base can understand it without every having been taught to read.

Nice rant....however...
look up perjury. Perjury is a lying UNDER OATH. A felony. Just plain old lying....like people do every day...just plain old lying. Just in case you did not know...when a President is sworn in he puts the hand on the Bible and swears to uphold the laws of the United States of America. Whoops!! So he not only perjured himself..he broke his oath. But no big deal...right? OF course not. You love generalities don't you? Liars like Bush and his ilk...I could say the same thing about Billary...liars and their ilk. They have both been caught in so many...as I am sure every other politician on the face of the earth.

Some of these posters remind me of the cliques in junior high who made fun of the fat kids or the kids in glasses, yada yada...same bullies, all grown up.

Sigh.
Geez.... RANT ON!
W
Not to hijack your rant, but there
the Bush administration used as a pretext to declaring war. We went to war and into debt and lives were lost over a lie made up to fulfill a plan that was devised prior to 9/11.

And btw, gay marriage will not harm your marriage in any way, unless your DW/DH is having an affair on the side and decides to make an honest man/woman out of the other person.
Uh....I don't think I posted a RANT like you just did...
you might want to take a page from your own book and seek therapy. And if you really read closely...I was not blaming Obama for anything...LOL. I was saying those who were posting about Sanford were trying to take the conversation away from Obama. Geeeezzzzz, just figures. I knowwww you are in love with the Prez. I know you think he can do no wrong. With all he has done that you fail to recognize that is pretty much obvious. Your tolerant and open mind is showing again....NOT.
Guess it's time to move to a blue state then huh?

White people with blue eyes caused this
According to Brazil's President "White people with blue eyes causes the economic crisis".

Glad I've got hazel eyes. Whew! Glad to know it's not my fault.

Thank you for another vote democrat or die rant...
PUMA is not just comprised of women. Obviously you are not getting all the news. THere are some po'ed men out there too. Talk about a hand-picked celebrity...you make this too easy! Nobody knew who Obama was until his speech at the last DNC convention. That was when Howard Dean trotted him out, the heir apparent, the only way they could beat Hillary Clinton...a rock star African American candidate. Orchestrated to do just that...dispossess Hillary Clinton and remove the Clintons once and for all. In case you hadn't noticed it, Howard Dean despises the Clintons. And the media jumped right on the bandwagon, doing everything in their power to thwart Hillary Clinton and pursue their love fest with Obama...because...and you on the inside can't see the forest for the trees...you are buying it hook, line, and sinker. And not only that, you are HELPING them. It is an amazing thing to watch.

Republicans smug? OMG. Pot kettle BIG time.

Uh....Obama said..."oh and by the way he's black." He did play the race card...but then so did BILL CLINTON. Geez.

No, he has not gambled away his experience card...because YOU keep bringing it up, which only brings your #1's lack of experience to the top and keeps everyone thinking about it.

THANK YOU! lol
nobody cares about your pro mccain rant

Changing the subject to the tax rant

Rant away if it makes you feel better.
You've gotton so many things wrong, it's laugable.

First of all, saying "people like you" once again shows your lack of understanding of the situation. I do not protest outside of abortion clinics. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't.

Much like you don't want religion in your politics, I don't want somebody's stinking LACK of morals in MY politics. Gay marriage. Late-term abortion. Did you ever stop to think that THAT might be offense to others? No. Because people like you are so busy beating your chests like gorillas and proclaiming how liberal and open-minded you lot are. When all the while you're trying to stomp on anyone and everyone who has the audicity to display a little faith in God.

As far as "running all over the world" - you're just running your mouth instead of your brain. I go to Russia twice a year. Russia is not "all over the world" but I suppose I can blame the public school system who apparently didn't let you in on that little secret.

And "that perfect little baby" once again shows your inabilty to comprehend the situation. You have no idea about the conditions I've seen in Russian orphanages. They are little more than warehouses for children, so that particular high horse of yours is lame as well. Why don't YOU go advocate for the foster kids in America? Better yet, don't. It wouldn't be fair to the kids.

If you had any capacity for learning, you would have rememberd that I have a WHOLE HOUSEFUL of adopted children. All are special needs, all are from the foster care system right here in the good 'ol USA. So your comment "children here are just too much of a pain in the a$$ for you" is offensive and, once again, totally off base.

I have never rambled about how wonderful I am. Nor have I said how $hitty anyone else is, though in your case I will make an exception. If you think I'm boasting it's because you have an inferiority complex.

I'm sorry if you want me to cry and pat you on your little head and feel sorry for you and how hard the abortion was on YOU. I'm sure there are plenty of P.C. posters who will crowd all around you and applaud your courageous decision to kill an infant instead of doing the right, albeit more difficult, thing and leaving your abusive husband and caring for yourself and your child. Too bad you didn't have the support system of a good Christian church to help you make a better decision. I don't have any patience for people who martyr themselves and then want everyone to throw them a big pity party.
Sorry to burst your rant bubble, but...
There are Christmas parades, Easter parades, and Christian cruises, so why shouldn't there be gay pride parades and gay cruises?

I won't respond to the rest of your rant because, frankly, it made me dizzy just reading parts of it!
Feel better after your self-righteous rant?
The Palestinians are terrorits, who thrive on chaos and bloodshed.

If it makes you feel all giddy to root for the savages, go ahead. You've clearly closed your mind off to the truth. Just like they wanted you to.

Nice to know even monsters can find support from folks like you.

It must really burn you, though, that Israel is kicking the holy h3ll out of your little bunch of Arab buddies.

So what do you think about the warnings that Palestinans are going to resort to suicide bombers (since they clearly can't hit squat with their rockets)?

Who do you think they're going to strap those little puppies to, anyway? It won't be the "soldiers." No sir. They're targeting their recruitment at women and boys. Yeah, that's real gallant.

Back to the Stone Age! Shouldn't take long now.
Man's IRS rant hits a nerve. sm
An article on a letter to the Editor of a newspaper making its rounds on the Internet.

http://www.suntimes.com/business/1467702,w-dear-irs-texas-barnett-taxes030909.article

Here is Mr. Barnett's letter:

Taxed to excess
Dear IRS,
I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to pay taxes owed April 15, but all is not lost.
I have paid these taxes: accounts receivable tax, building permit tax, CDL tax, cigarette tax, corporate income tax, dog licence tax, federal income tax, unemployment tax, gasoline tax, hunting licence tax, fishing licence tax, waterfowl stamp tax, inheritance tax, inventory tax, liquor tax, luxury tax, medicare tax, city, school and county property tax (up 33 percent last 4 years), real estate tax, social security tax, road usage tax, toll road tax, state and city sales tax, recreational vehicle tax, state franchise tax, state unemployment tax, telephone federal excise tax, telephone federal state and local surcharge tax, telephone minimum usage surcharge tax, telephone state and local tax, utility tax, vehicle licence registration tax, capitol gains tax, lease severance tax, oil and gas assessment tax, Colorado property tax, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma and New Mexico sales tax, and many more that I can’t recall but I have run out of space and money.
When you do not receive my check April 15, just know that it is an honest mistake. Please treat me the same way you treated Congressmen Charles Rangle, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and ex-Congressman Tom Dashelle and, of course, your boss Timothy Geithner. No penalties and no interest.
P.S. I will make at least a partial payment as soon as I get my stimulus check.

"taking over." This isn't a communist society, remember?
If I was Prez or first lady...sm

The way I look at it, the Obamas will have more help taking care of the dog (they can be a lot of work!)  and also, IMHO, the girls are old enough now to have one and learn responsibility.

Off topic, but if I were in White House, I would follow in Calvin Coolidge's footsteps:  He had 6 dogs, a bobcat, a goose, a donkey, a cat, 2 lion cubs, an antelope, a wallaby and a pygmy hippopotamus.

Unfortunately we do only have one prez at a time

and what we have is a lame duck.  I don't know what will happen with Obama but Bush has left him a huge moutain of problems to deal with.  I expect Bush will replace Herbert Hoover in history as the worst president in history.  Of course the republicans will try to blame his 8 years in office on the previous 8 years and the next 8 years.  Sad thing is, some people will believe it, but not many I guess with his approval ratings.

Every time a Pub becomes prez
since Eisenhower the economy goes to H@** (although it's not a bad word), then the dems get in the WH and clean things up and blamed for the bad economy....a fact.  Clinton years were the best our family has ever had since I can remember.  Just a plain fact.  Better now after 8 years of Bush?  Give me a break.....Won't drink that Kool-Aid you're drinking.
No confidence in a prez who will not
take responsibility....that's why pubs lost.
more evidence that the prez

really does need that teleprompter to get it right . . . What's this I hear about him being such a great orator?  Sorry, but I think not.

Obama apologizes for gaffe on Special Olympics

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has apologized for a gaffe in which he described his bowling skills as akin to participants in the Special Olympics, a sports program for people with intellectual disabilities.

Obama made the mistake during an interview on Thursday night on "The Tonight Show" with host Jay Leno, the first time a sitting U.S. president had been on the show.

Talking about living in the White House, Obama said he had been practicing his bowling in the home's bowling alley and had scored a 129 out of a possible 300.

It was an improvement on the embarrassing 37 he had rolled during a stop on the presidential campaign trail a year ago.

"It's like -- it was like Special Olympics or something," Obama said.

The Special Olympics is a global nonprofit organization serving some 200 million people with intellectual disabilities, with a presence in nearly 200 countries worldwide. They compete in sporting events like the real Olympics.

Soon after the Jay Leno interview, Obama telephoned Special Olympics chairman Tim Shriver to apologize.

Shriver told ABC's "Good Morning America" television show that Obama had apologized "in a way that I think was very moving" and that he said "he did not intend to humiliate the population, didn't want to embarrass or give anybody any more reason for pain or kind of suffering."

Shriver said people should gain a lesson from the incident.

"I think it's important to see that words hurt. Words do matter. And these words in some respect, can be seen as humiliating or a put-down to people with special needs, do cause pain. And they do result in stereotypes," Shriver said.

White House spokesman Bill Burton said Obama "made an offhand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics."

"He thinks that the Special Olympics are a wonderful program that gives an opportunity to shine to people with disabilities from around the world," Burton said.

Shriver said he knows of a Special Olympian in the Detroit area who has bowled three perfect games of 300 and "he said he would be more than welcome to find the time to come to the White House and teach the president."

At least a prez who has been in uniform
knows how to return a salute without looking like a cubl scout!
OK. Are we going to email the Prez about all the

backwards stance he is taking and all the trips Michele is taking, or are we going to sit here and take it?

Sorry, but at least GW mostly stayed in Washington if not in Texas and ran the government. They did not take "geography" classes on the road. How's the garden doing Michele? Do we hear about that? Nope. Just another publicity stunt.

Now he is praising Pelosi for her wonderful help? Give me a break.

When O became president, I figured I would give him a chance....but I figured okay, some of those bailouts he did might work  Today, he is pushing for the CLNE, clean energy bill,  which Pelosi has a big stake in, and now I know  he is just a puppet of Pelosi and the others. I will not sit here and take his lies any longer. If i have to I will send an email every day to the WH telling him where to get off.

We get a magazine on country living and they are telling us to brace ourselves for the coming new policies on food. They are telling us to stock up on food for at least 3 years especially if H.R. 875 passes. Now, I don't know when this is coming up for a vote but I read the bill and it doesn't make me happy with the wording.  If what the magazine is stating, they can stop us from producing family gardens if they will it. I'm hoping they straighten this out because as I read through it, it directly aims at the larger food production facilities, but the words that bother me are "any farm, .....or facility.... that produces food for resale." That means you will not be able to sell your garden grown extra foodstuffs unless you have a registration number....which also means government intervention. If anyone is interested, I can post the article pertaining to that.

O is finding out that his words aren't penetrating those who hate us a lot, so, as of this week, he has decided to pull back on international "friendship" and just deal with the USA because he knows we are getting disheartened with his policies. This gets our minds off the real issues of  the world and we are supposed to believe every word he says, yet some are still idolizing him. Just wait another year. Then it will be too late..

Sorry, not in my book. I think it's time for all Americans to stand up and fight, deluge the goverment with emails, etc., whatever gets through to our President. Heck, I've been emailing every time I hear something new that goes against the laws of the land.  Does it fall on deaf ears? Certainly....but I still do it. Guess I wil lbe on he UnAmerican list soon but I don't care. I've been quiet too long and am actively taking a stance in the American way of life....which is almost gone already after the 100 days. So sad.....

Now I'm getting off my  and going for a . All the politics make me very thirsty.

This is just unfathomable to me (caution - rant enclosed)
I said once I'd never post on this board again, but this isn't a political issue, it reaches across the board. This just blows me away. 60 days' punishment for stealing this child's innocence and scarring her forever - it's just so far beyond appalling that I can't even think of a word that fits. I have to wonder if this guy would have been off the streets longer if he'd stolen a purse. Heaven forbid if he'd tortured a dog the way he tortured this child - they'd have probably thrown away the key! If he'd only gotten 60 days for it, you can bet PETA would have been all over it, but who is there for this little girl?Anyway, I have fired off a letter to Vermont's governor, for all the good it will probably do, and I am also sending prayers for this poor child.
Free is your rant, not Obama's proposal.
to put a fox in charge of the chicken coop? The economy is a wreck and cannot be fixed by those who refuse to even discuss the issue.
Outsourcing/China (warning - rant)

Hubby was telling me last night that China's economy is now tanking because ours is.  Factory workers over there were showing up for work only to find their business had closed because of lack of orders from the U.S.  India may be next.  You never know.  I don't see it happening with MT but like I said, you just don't know.  Did you see their work days?  6 days a week and something like 12 or 14 hours a day?

I hear lip service from Nobama/Maobama about cutting taxes to bring our businesses back but don't see him acting on it.  He's a one-termer.  Carter got us in a heap of trouble which Reagan (I know union employees aren't fond of him) had to get us out of.  All Nobama is doing is having construction/building jobs sprout up here and there.  And where does the money come from to pay for his multi-trillion dollar spending?  You got it - us.  Those jobs will eventually fizzle out, our country will be poorer and those people will once again be unemployed..

Dems coined the phrase Voodoo Economics for Reagan's Trickle Down Economics.  Whether or not you liked the man, he did a world of good for this country.  He did cut capital gains taxes and cut taxes for the rich.  Trickle down 101:  You cut taxes for the rich, they can afford to hire more employees, more often than not, at better wages.  Unemployment is down.  People go out and spend more money because they are employed and can afford to.  During Reagan's terms in office, he cut taxes immensely yet the government took in more money.  People would much rather spend their money the way they want than have the government take it and spend it.

Folks, we work for our government.  Our government should be working for us.  We should not live in fear of the IRS.  I attended a TEA party on April 15 and will attend more such events.  We should have a government for the people, of the people and by the people.  The protest was very peaceful and guess what?  Not a bit of litter was left to be found when it ended, like the disgrace that was left after the inauguration in Washington, DC.

We are getting so far away from a constitutional government, it's not funny.  Actually, my opinion is that we are currently a socialist government.  You know the next step after socialism?  Communism.

I read the most recent list of who they consider a terrorist.  Hoarding food?  Um, yep.  Better buy it now in case a depression hits.  Glad I have a breadmaker.  Wouldn't want to have to spend $50 on a loaf of bread.  Buying lots of ammo?  Sure, but then again, we do competition shooting.  Guns?  Yeah, we have our share, but variety is the spice of life (Hubby bought me a Macarov but I didn't care for the way it operated (too hard to load the mag), especially after the slide came back and sliced my thumb open 5 times, bad lacerations - my fault, was handling it wrong, so I got a Glock).  My husband is an Iraqi war vet.  That makes us both domestic terrorists.  Yet neither one of us even has the heart to even discipline our dogs.  We're both very gentle people.  Of course if someone broke into our home, we would defened ourselves.

I'm sorry for the rant but I just don't see Nobama caring much about outsourcing.  I really really really hope I am wrong and what he is doing for our country is the right thing but I truly resent being labeled a domestic terrorist because I see us headed for a depression and am stocking up on food, and my husband happened to be in the military during the Gulf war.

Thanks for listening.

Wow another angry rant by a SORE LOSER!
You LOST.  The Good Guys Won.  Get OVER IT! You'll feel better when you begin to confront your angry, hurt feelings and realize how much America repudiated your TREASON and your HATE.
Exactly. You would think the job title would have given the Prez. a hint.sm

black prez remark

My, how classy.  That so-called retardate graduated Yale & Harvard.  Now who's retarded?  Bill Clinton is plenty of things, too, but stupid, retarded, etc. are things that I've never heard a conservative say...ever.

I'll let Chris Rock lie in the gutter with his money and his filthy mouth.

Class always speaks for itself.

"Indian" Vice Prez
If McCain chooses Bobby Jindal, gov of Louisiana, and they win, we'd have an "Indian" vice president.  With him having relatives and connections still in India, maybe he could negotiate for American MTs to keep their jobs.  Who knows what might happen.  Jindal is among 3 possible who are spending the weekend at the McCain ranch.  Just a thought.  I'm traditionally a Democrat, BTW, and haven't quite decided.
And Prez who can't decide what he's trying to escape.

Don't know, don't care. Obama for PREZ!! nm

And to clarify...I did not insinuate that the new Prez...
has to respond NOW and neither did Russia. They just threw down the gauntlet. It is up to him how and when he responds.

As to communism...there is no "authority" required for an opinion. Obama has been influenced by Marxists throughout his life...first Frank Marshall Davis, followed by the Marxist professors and students he said in his book he sought out....followed by Bill Ayers...that he taught and used the Saul Alinsky method community organizing..and on and on. The influence is there. Karl Marx said socialism was a start but it did not go far enough because it did not address redistribution of wealth. We know where Obama stands on redistribution of wealth. Everything he has been and everything he says tells me he thinks he can make it work and very well may attempt to in this country. They had a Marxist revolution in Russia. We see how that turned out. They had a Marxist revolution in Cuba. We see how that turned out. So far they are just socialist in Venezuela, but we see how that turned out. There will have to be no revolution here, because our new Prez and apparently 51% of the American people think it will work too. We may very well be the USSA...or worse, the UCSA. Taken over from within without having to fire a shot. THAT is what I meant about communism, and it is a far statement based on Obama's entire history from childhood into adulthood. I have no reason to think he is turning from that now. I will wait and see, of course. But just because he won does not mean I will change everything I want and believe overnight...just like I think he will not change everything he has thought and believed throughout his life. I think it is very naive to ignore that and think that he somehow has.

Again...this has nothing whatsoever to do with Bush. I don't care what Bush does; he's gone. What I care about is the man with the power for the next 4 years.
My mind out of the gutter...the prez was getting
his BJ (and a lot more) in the Oval office...where was HIS mind and morals, especially with a wife and young daughter living there?
Qualifications for Prez of US states
one has to be 35 years old and a US citizen.  And, yes, when young people fight wars, even preemptive wars, they should most definitely be able to vote for whomever they think will have their best interests in mind. Thank GOD you do not run the gov't.
