Another MT put it very succinctly when she said that working with MQ is like being in an abusive relationship. You talk yourself into being happy, you let yourself be de-valued, mistreated, ignored, stressed out, and you keep thinking that if you only wait long enough, it is all going to straighten out and the rainbow will come out....I thought that, and decided not to wait, but find my own rainbow. There are so, so many companies out there who WILL pay top rate for a very experienced, disciplined, and focused MT, you just have to make the break and do research and hunting...just as in any relationship, there are times to stay, and then there are DEFINITE SIGNS to leave. JMHO
