Emailing everyone
You go!! Don't forget Lou Dobbs...he loves to talk about the evils of outsourcing...this would give him LOTS to talk about.
Try emailing QA sm
I was off QA after about 3 days.
I would like to know also, why emailing you?
This is what this board is for, to post so others can see and make decisions on places.
Maybe try emailing
I would try emailing again and checking status of what they are doing. I know they were very busy with a lot of applicants. Wouldn't hurt to just get your name out there again and email to see where they are at.
Maybe instead of emailing...
If you have a phone #, give them a call and hopefully you'll get someone to talk to and get some kind of explanation.

I think I'd be a little concerned because, as KYM points out, you're not getting a response from more than 1 person/department.

I'd definitely be polite but proactive and find out what's going on.

Good luck :-)
as far as them emailing me...
I've had 2 companies tell me they were interested and wanted to set up an interview date, then heard nothing after I responded so I can't help but wonder what will happen with any other company from now on.

Testing was on the typical mttest site-real easy. I don't know if I'm supposed to mention what specialties I had on the transcribing part, but I had 4 files that were actually pretty good.

I saw 2 old posts about them before and it just mentioned that people were happy with them. I didn't see anything negative.

Sorry I can't give any work experience with them. Good luck to us and anyone who applied though.
Would you mind emailing me?
I'd like to reduce the hours I work and/or pick up another IC job.  Thank you.
Emailing daily log........ sm

Do yourself a huge favor.  If you don't have a scanner, buy one!  I keep a handwritten log and at the end of the day I just scan it into an email.  You certainly don't need another screen to contend with.

would you mind emailing me.... TIA nm

Do you mind emailing me regarding
Are they very strict on the requirement of having 5 years experience as an 'editor'? I have been an MT for 8 years but have only edited for a few months.
Would you mind emailing me too... sm
I've been thinking about applying there myself... thank you.
Try emailing or calling your former STM. nm
.
No communication? They are calling and emailing me

Why don't you call your manager instead of just emailing? nm
.
Why only emailing you for answers, why so secreative?
NM
Good luck with emailing that one
like a 12-year-old IM'ing her pals. How professional or NOT.  Unfortunatley this situation is not isolated as there have been many before you and surely will be many after.  No no communication, no nothing.  Some of us were just smart enough to get out while the getting was good.
Hey shortcake, would you mind me emailing you about JLG?
nm
Fatcat, I just tried emailing you, but it came back.

Could you email me, please?  Thanks!

They contacted me within 30 minutes of emailing my resume!! nm

Did any of you try emailing or calling D herself? Perhaps things have changed sm

since I worked there, but it used to be you could talk to her and she would listen and make things right if she could.  Maybe she is not as much involved in those things anymore and it is mostly C handling things.  It just seemed worth a shot.  It is sad to see so many people unhappy and scared for their livelihoods.

Good luck.

Have you tried emailing Instant Text tech support? sm

Sometimes if it doesn't work exactly perfect they can send you a fix to make it work. The link is on their webpage somewhere and they have a forum where you can search, too.

Only took 5 min & my post re:dont waste time emailing

I spoke with a woman from there today. I have seen a few posts on other sites about them, nothing bad. The woman was very friendly. The pay she told me was 4 cpl during training, and 7 cpl after making 98%. Keep in mind that I am a new MT, so this pay rate may have that factored in.
Sorry...this was about Allegiant. nm

I LOVE working for Allegiant. The owners are awesome ladies who are transcriptionists too, so they understand your needs and truly do care about you. My account is clinic work (Monday-Friday), a few ESLs but vast majority are good dictators. It took me about two months to get up to speed...learning new system, new accounts, new voices, adding tons of new autokeys...I started in mid May and now can sign on, transcribe for 2, maybe 2-1/2 hours, and reach my required 500-line limit for the day. Of course, you're always welcome to do more when work is available (which is pretty much all the time except for Monday mornings). Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night to work, sometimes it's mid day, sometimes late in the evening.

I truly couldn't be happier working for anyone else. Of course, there are those who say the pay is not up to standard. But...I'm left alone to do my job, I work when I choose to, I don't have to work weekends, and I'm doing clinic notes (not complicated surgeries), so it's pretty basic transcription without a lot of research involved.

Allegiant Transcription completely suits my needs. I'm one happy camper! Please feel free to email me.

This company has a job posted here and I was thinking to apply.  I would like to hear good/bad things about this company, pay rate fair, how are they to work with.  They do say, though, the platform is EMDAT, which I have heard is a bear to work on.  What is your opinion?  Thanks
Allegiant
Excellent company to work for.  Always pay on time.  Owner is great and very helpful.  I love EMDAT and have been working with it for 6 years.  Best of Luck.
Allegiant
I have been unable to contact them also.
allegiant
QA is great - pay is always on time or early. Have been with them since last winter.
allegiant
I also have been with them since November. It is a smaller company growing very quickly.  Pay is always on time.  Owner is great.
Try Allegiant.
They are clinic.
Allegiant
I have worked for the company before. Good company, good dictators, part-time work, easy platform, 1 or 2 accounts, not the best pay, IC status, not so much work anymore.
ALLEGIANT ANYONE????? (nm)
nm
Allegiant......
I don't work for them but someone that does told me they are very easy to work for, very family friendly, that you work your designated times and have it back within 24 hours. EMDAT has a line count built in and she says she checked it against another at the beginning and it is very accurate. You set your own days but must meet TAT and not take advantage. That's all I know.

Offered a position with Allegiant.  I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if their line rate is character or gross.  Are there still companies out there that pay by the gross line?
Allegiant
I worked for them briefly. Super nice owner. Pay's a little low, but overall, it is a great company.
Allegiant Transcription?
Anyone with any information on this company?
Allegiant transcription
I was offered a job by Allegiant Transcription. I was told that 1st check could be delayed for 6 weeks depending on when the clint pays them. I am a little worried that this is not a reliable company. HELP PLEASE!
Anyone know anything about Allegiant Transcription Co? If so...sm
please respond..How is their pay scale, any benefits, pay on time, dictators...TIA!  Happy MT week all!

Has anyone heard of or worked for Allegiant Transcription.  I am looking for any information good or bad.  Thanks.

Allegiant MT - Maybe this will work (sm)

I don't know why my email would be invalid. I am listing it again but also enclosing my questions here if you want to answer them on the board.  Sorry for the trouble.

I am looking for a company that will let me make my own hours.  I just applied with Allegiant.  If anyone can give me any information about them I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks in advance and have a great holiday weekend
Allegiant and Dial-Up???
While we're on the subject does anyone know if Allegiant and their EMDAT program are compatible with dial-up? I feel your pain, allinadayswork, as I'm in the same boat. However, I suppose we could get satellite if we could afford it but I see a lot of companies specify no satellite also. Living in the sticks does have its drawbacks! As for MedQuist, when I was supposed to switch over to their DocQScribe program the techies couldn't get it to work and they finally figured out that my dial-up connection was too slow. So not all dial-ups are created equal! MY ISP provider's recommendation was move to town. Good luck to you!

Has anyone ever heard of this company or had any experience with them?

Allegiant, You See Solutions, etc - sm
You can even go to www.emdat.com and they have a list of the different companies that utilize their program.
Is Allegiant still hiring?

I was wondering if they're still hiring. I'm having trouble getting in touch with with anyone there.

Contacting Allegiant

Anybody heard of this transcription service? I can't find much on them, which may be a good thing I hope, since I just accepted a position with them.  I know they use Emdat, but how is the QA staff and is pay in time?  TIA

Can anyone give me any info on Allegiant? I would like to know line rate, how often they pay, and schedule flexibility. I would appreciate the info. Thanks.
