I wouldn't want my husband to ask, either. In fact, if he did and the people said yes, I still wouldn't go and stay with them, because I'd feel like they were pressured. Believe me, if they wanted you to come and stay with them at any point in the last 10 years, they'd have asked you. I, too, live near a vacation destination, and I hate it when people ask to stay with me. They're the rude ones for asking, but it puts me in an uncomfortable position of trying to politely say no. And it seems that when I do say no, the thwarted "guest" then complains to everyone else in our social circle that we are cheap, mean and unwelcoming.
Tell your husband to crack open the wallet and pay for a hotel.

up at 2:45 a.m. to get DH off to work, then type from 3:00 am to 5:00 am, then back to sleep till 8:00 am. That's when my 2 yo grandson comes for the day... back to typing at 7:00 p.m. and hopefully done by 10:00 or 11:00 pm. Then off to bed... Try to eat healthy, get some exercise... but at night I do need a shot of caffeine to keep going.. also need to take frequent breaks just to move around to stay away... I used to think that I need more hours in the day.. but then I think I would just end up doing more and more and still not getting sleep... Oh well, only two more years until my DIL is done with nursing school... I hope I can hold out until then.

In the Bahamas being as Stern signed the birth certificate, it automatically makes him the father. Now with that said and the Bahamas saying the baby is automatically a citizen there (and being born there is not considered a United States citizen)there is going to be some legal wheeling and dealing going on to ever have them do a DNA. The United States does not govern making anyone have the DNA being as the baby born in another country. Any clearer?

no because I understand about birth defects, nonviability of a fetus, complications of a preemie if they live, etc. so the answer is no, and I got pregnant soon thereafter and had a normal girl some months later.

why I have gotten some spots on this brand new $16.00 per tile floor I had installed. I have the tile man who installed coming over tomorrow. I put throughout my grandroom and I asked the other day if I should have sealed it, was told no but I doubt very seriously I would get any kind of satisfaction from where I bought it. Yes I went to see them and no I did not like, would not go back again. Each contestant performed 1 or 2 times and I thought maybe they would have group as a whole doing several songs, not so. Waste of my time and my money and just think, that was about 2 or 3 years ago and when the contentants were the best, not like this year and you cannot remember most of them on stage.

I have been in the same place before as the others, struggling, working as many jobs as I could so I know. My father used to fuss at me because I never saved- how could I raising a family? Finally when I got the first money from the skies??, I then decided to make it count. I did not squander, instead paid bills and put back some. I was fortunate in paying myself completely out of debt and I don't owe anything BUT I have to be careful like the next person, I love to spend and have to practice self control because credit cards can get away from me also if I don't watch it. I did have money in stock market before, lost a lot every single month and when my family member gave me lots, kept asking have you paid your bills and stipulation was I COULD NOT BUY IN STOCK MARKET. I gave my word, put money in CDs, find the best interest I can find and if necessary change them from one bank to another if I find a better rate. I am very, very cheap when it comes to buying for myself but I love to do for others. I never meant the post to sound like others took it, people were talking about paying on principal and luckily last year able to do. I will owe big time this year on my taxes- know that already BUT I have set aside enough to pay that PLUS I have extra when the taxes are paid- then again I pay more on the principal for my home. I am very lucky- just sitting here tonight figuring up how much I owe a month for IC taxes- starting in April I get $500.00+ from a retirement fund- that is taxed- but get this- I will use that money and then put another $250.00 with it and I will have my money for my taxes for the month. Like I said I am very rich in love and happiness and to me that is the most important thing in life- have not always had that either. Grateful for what I do have.

This is only my opinion but I think you would be much happier on your own. Why stay with a person when there is nothing left and make yourself so unhappy?
One thing I need to say is that he may not have touched you in four years and hopefully if you stay, he will never touch you again but I thought the same thing...I ended up in the hospital with six broken ribs and complications. I would never trust someone who can lay a hand on another again.

You may not like my answer, but I think
stuff starts about this age group. You are right though in that when it is a girl doing "the harm" it is a totally different story. My son is now 14 and went through this with a girl, but I think she really liked him and this is what caused her to pay attention, yet in kids, they kind of think this kind of attention (although it did physically hurt your son) is okay. I wouldn't actually say the girl has special needs.
It hurts us when our kids are hurt, but if I were you, I'd let it blow over because the kids have probably forgotten about it already anyway. I don't know if this helps, but I do hear you and I have been there.
I hope you can learn to forgive (as a Catholic) this little girl for this deed she has done; don't we all deserve a second chance?

I do not watch the show either but I saw her on Dr. Phil once. She could not have get pregnant so she use in vitro and had twins. She wanted one more child and figured the most she probaby would have is two more but was suprised when she found out she was having six. That is why I think she was given a reality show because she really did not expect the outcome. She said for one year she had about 15 minutes a day to herself.

I can only tell you that I am a recovering alcoholic and have been sober since 1982. I lost my marriage, too. If your husband is doing this for any reason other than for himself or just to get you back, it won't work. He has to want to stay sober more than anything else in the world, and that must be his first priority. He has to want it for himself. My daughter went to treatment for addiction about five years after I did. My son and I went to family week at the center before she came home. They told us that we didn't cause it, and we couldn't cure it. Your husband is the only one who can keep himself sober. I went to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for ten years. I hope that he finds out while he is there what he needs to do to stay sober. I hope things work out for you.

Well, to answer your question, I liked it...
I tend to eat out of pure boredom when I'm working and Hoodia did seem to help curb my appetite. I'm not overweight, I just wanted to stop eating so much. I do exercise 5 days a week, so I can pretty much eat whatever I want. I have a friend who works in a health food store and she takes Hoodia to help her concentrate when she's studying for a test or something. I've never heard of it used for that, but I did seem to stay focused better when I was on it. I was only on it a few months, but was able to get in a routine about eating and now don't snack as much. I only lost a couple of pounds while on it, but it did help me make better food choices since I wasn't as hungry all the time.

That being said, IF 1 of the 3 now claiming to be the father really turns out to be the father, the courts probably would hold the money in trust. I am not so sure they would entrust her father to get that much money and besides that from what I have read, the court action may not be completely over yet on the outcome of the millions from the old man husband. Such twists and turns, huh?

and find a 12-step program for your mom (I'm saying this tongue in cheek) :) I understand what you mean about worrying about your mom, but when it comes down to it, it is her life to live the way she choses. I foud this out the hard way just last week with my own mom, so I know how hard it is to sit back and watch you mom fishing for potential problems...but, unless she is a danger to herself or others, all you can do is speak your mind and keep your fingers crossed. At least all that is happening is that she is getting hurt emotionally, and that she is smart enough not to fall into financial ruin through these sites.

I was only stating that to say someone who has spent most of their life here cannot be influenced by the culture from their birth place is simply not true.
It might have not had anything to do with him being Korean and how they feel about Americans, but with the terrorist attacks and anti-American propaganda out there by other countries, you cannot just ignore that as a possibility or put the label racist on it if anyone brings it up. More than likely though, it had to do with him just being a very disturbed person.

I am married but I take myself on my own vacation (sometimes we go together) but he does not love to go like me so I hook it up with a travel group and have a blast. Traveling again this summer. Used to vacation with the kids but now love traveling where I want to go and do what I want to do and only my opinion counts. I never had an empty nester thought in my life, more like whew!!

if you do not use as shower I would not put one up unless you need splash of color in that room, etc. I would decorate with bright towels, candles, etc., and leave the curtain off for a more fresh, open and airy feeling.

I'm no expert only having this done on Tuesday, but I am not sorry one bit. I put mine off for 2 years before I got the guts to do it. I had only 1 molar left and couldn't eat much of anything. I think I will feel a whole lot healthier when I can go back to raw vegetables for snacks like I used to eat many moons ago.
I had 3 teeth pulled about 6 weeks ago simply because I was having extreme night pain and had no other choice, one pulled one week and the other two the following week. That solved that problem. The rest (all 15 with 12 shots of novacaine) were done all at once. That's how I wanted it done. I can't stand getting teeth pulled. Had a bad experience with an oral surgeon in my teens that left me with such a fear of dentists that I didn't go to another dentist for 5 years. My dentist now was fresh out of school and opened up his practice here in town with all of his new ideas and we have been with him for 25 years. Don't let anyone kid you that new grads are worthless. He was great. He calmed me down when I was shaking like a leaf with my teeth chattering in fear.
Lastly, I do like how they look. I like how my face looks with them, too. I've never been told I had nice teeth but I had 4 compliments on them just since Tuesday. I think once I get used to eating with them and keeping them in place, things will be much better. I do have to get used to NOT having them in, and that's what I hate. I guess I have to keep them out for about 8 hours a day to heal this sore spot. I don't like how I look or speak without them. My face feels caved in and my lips kind of flop around and I talk funny without them. I guess since I won't be going anywhere without them that it shouldn't be a big deal, but I'm real self conscious about that. I do have to get that sore spot healed, so I better listen to the boss.
The only thing I hate is the cost, around 4500.00. Half that was just the extractions. I could have gone to the dental school, but they are 2 hours away and I don't have the time nor the patience to drive that far for dental work. You can get it done real reasonable going that route from what I understand.

no, not if you are interested in eating healthy. I believe here in the south as elsewhere people just are not looking to their foods as the basic for other health issues. I never eat fried at home, never, we cook with olive oil, tonight having mixture of squash, zukes, onions, garlic, roasted chicken with brown rice. We never cook with anything except olive oil, do not use lard or Crisco-have no flour in the house to put baste foods in, have never ate mac and cheese and don’t even know what a fried cheesecake is, never heard of a fried biscuit. Just think, we both live in Georgia - Paula and I and our eating completely different.

yes, she will remember what happens that between you 2 and years later they will be brought up about why you did this or didnt do that. I have a son who remembers the abuse I suffered from when he was 7. A child is no reason for a woman to let herself continue to be a floormat for the father. Of course it is easier to stay than to go but to live in such a meaningless relationship is just wrong when there are such joys in life. My husband pays all the big bills (he has bought me 2 cars within the past 7 years, high-end ones at that and I have no idea what he paid for them nor pays on them although some have told me they cost big bucks), he pays house note and I pay smaller things like water, electricity, gas and the like. We split things like car insurance, ins for house and such. He does all the cooking and I have a lady who comes and cleans for me. He tells me he loves me all the time and treats me like a princess. I am totally spoiled and loving every minute of it. I wish I had been able to spend all my life with this guy but am really thankful he and I are together now. I wasted years on crap when I could have been a lot happier. Not worth your life holding on.

Actually there was a post on here late last night, not here this morning and someone was talking about all the gab about the animals and I think from what little I read they wanted them taken off. The other part of the post was sorta confusing so the person might have just been working too hard.
