O lovers have nothing else to say because the majority of the US citizens are saying it loudly with every phone call to the white house and it just ain't looking for for Obama, no matter how much he smiles and tells you everybody wants him......well, they ain't wanting him right now.

Great article and on target! It also should chill the blood of the get out of Iraq now crowd, because what this article describes is precisely what would happen. But, they have blinders on. Iran in control of Iraq's oil .... think on that for a minute. With their nuclear ambitions .... think on that for a minute, people. It is still hard for me to believe that we actually have leaders, members of our own Congress, who are ready and willing to turn our belly up to be ripped out by these fanatics. Sorry if that is graphic, but that is exactly what they want to do. How can anyone in their right mind support a party who would rather go after the man who had guts enough to fight for this country, than to go after the terrorists? If they would focus the hatred of George Bush and the energy trying to bring him down on terrorism instead we might be a lot closer to defeating them. How did their thinking get that screwed up? How did it become acceptable to screw over your fellow Americans, your own country, to have power? And how were they able to sell that garbage to a portion of the American people? I ask the question and I know the answer. Because a great portion of the American people have strayed from core values, moral stands, and the black and white of right and wrong to the gray area of appeasement and whatever makes ME feel good, to heck with what is best for the country. The REALLY sad part of it is that they are going to drag us all down with them. As I said in another post....as THEY sow, so shall WE all reap. It is heartbreaking. We cannot give up, however. We still have a mighty sword and that is prayer. And not to sit down nor shut up. God Bless!
I think this should be a wakeup call
i realize there are people who are struggling financially.. what i am suggesting is that maybe people should take a big look... and yes i'm sure there are exceptions... i have to wonder about these people who are losing their homes.... curious about what other debt they had going on that led to that.. how many credit cards did they have, etc.... how many vehicles are not paid for... ? that sort of thing. we have a bit of debt ourselves and will admit things have been tight for us too but the fact remains... had we made better choices about what we did with our money, maybe stick it in savings for a rainy day, without a doubt things would be not as tight for us at the moment... i lost a job myself and started with another making less money.... it is life and maybe when i was making more $$$, i should have made better choices..
i am not pointing my finger at anyone, just making an observation about how people so easily these days blame everyone else for their own choices...

Obama represents to democrats an upstanding individual who we believe will be able to bring about a more efficient government and restore credibility to the nation (among other things). We hope this can be accomplished. However, when even the slightest hint of a rumor comes along (nevermind the source), you guys are all over it acting like it's true before any facts at all have surfaced. Because dems defend against this constant tirade of rabid pubs, we are automatically called O worshipers? Actually, in this case we were called O worshipers in the original post...LOL.

This just coming out.........former Obama staffer (while working with Obama) now coming out that he sat in a meeting with an Islamic organization in Virginia back in September, in which Mr. Asbahi was present, Obama's liason. Now that man alone has a very close relationship with Islamic organizations and it just keeps getting deeper. This Islamic organization has ties with terrorists organizations to include CAIR who was also listed as a coconspirator in terror related groups.
It just keeps getting more interesting. For those that doesn't know who Asbahi is, you need to keep your eyes wide open. Obama is knee deep involved with Muslim and Islamic organizations, even though he has made a point of using his liasons, who are mostly Muslim, to do so now that he is running for President.

"How many of you know a plumber that makes half a million dollars?". McCain never said that, Obama did. Obama told the plumber that the business he was looking at buying which may or may not make 250K would be taxed to "spread the wealth" around. Boy, he's desperate now.

This has only come about since the tea party demonstrations have come about and with the government realizing millions of people are really and truly FED UP with their crap and taxing us into complete submission to the government. I couldn't care less what others think on here and there is no false assumptions made by me.
The writing is in black and white for those that care to read it. There is no assumption by what "conservative extremism" means and for those that don't live in LA la land, they too know exactly what this is.... an absolute violation of American civil rights. FINANCIAL SERVICES MODERNIZATION ACT of 1999 -- signed by President Bill Clinton. Many of you really need to read up on that one. He and Greenspan managed to drive an already overheated economy when he signed this deregulation into law. This was the root cause for the Internet and real estate bubble....sorry, but Bush was not at the helm when this problem started, but Clinton was and really pushed things over the edge and started the ball rolling when he deregulated the banks. What did he think was going to happen when he took regulation out of the banking system? He took out accountability and that's when greed started growing like wildfire.
Now, before you continue spewing Republican hatred, you might want to do your homework. As much as you might not like the answer, facts are facts and you are welcome to pull up 'ole Billy boy's "modernization act" and read up on it.
Clinton's lack of foreign policy also perpetuated this mess with Al-Qaeda, so of course any future president, dem or rep was going to have to deal with the mess he left.

It is scary that so many of you think this woman is so wonderful. How in the world can you think that when she is tromping on everyone to beat it to the White House when she is so unqualified. Plus the woman must be on welfare that she has to charge the state of Alaska for flights, hotel rooms (and not in the Days Inn either), for herself, children, etc., then go back into her expense chart and add things to get it to pass, wonder who advised her to do that?) She certainly did not disclose the wardrobe that was given to her out of campaign money, and she didn't shop at Walmart either, admidst the credit crunch she pretends to care about (I guess it doesn't apply to her personally), and where there is smoke there is fire, the woman is vindictive, look at Troopergate. This morning now it is being disclosed she leaned to special bids for the Alaskan pipeline that cannot possibly be built for years if even then and that is her platform. Anyone who cries foul about the press maligning her when they find out about sneaky things she does does not get my respect. Just listen to her interview with Katie Couric - how dumb can one get? I did not start out biased towards her, I just read about her and became alarmed.

But in previous years, Democrats (Hillary being a primary one) opposed the use of ethanol. I guess if I believed any of those people out there hawking global warming actually believed what they were saying it would be different...but I don't. The science is not there. As I said...if the real interest is conservation with the side benefit of less CO2...fine. Just say so. But as the article pointed out...if it is as bad as they say it is, you can't stop it anyway. Yes, I am feeling a pinch. But I don't think the government should take money from you and give it to me. I don't think they should take money from any private business and give it to me. If you think that is fair, fine. I don't. That is how socialism/Marxism takes hold. Historically it ends the same way. I don't want that for America. Perhaps you do...you want the pinch eased for you and if that means taking money from someone else that they earned, and giving it to you, who did not earn it, to you it is all good. To me it isn't.
He never has said who the $1000 checks are going to. I am thinking not every person in the whole US of A...so not only does he get to choose who he takes the money from, he gets to choose who to give it to. That would be another interesting piece of the puzzle. If he confirms to the Marxist view, it would be issuing checks to the "poor." And he gets to define who that is. You may be okay with that...me, not so much.
And by the way...have you ever researched an oil company profit margin? It is not as huge as Obama would like you to believe. But, again, he is counting on no one researching what he says. They hear free money and that's all they want to hear. Also, do you think oil companies don't employ people? You think it is one CEO at a desk in an office raking in billions? You don't think there are rank and file regular folks who work for oil companies? Whose jobs might be impacted by you and others wanting to take money away from their employers and doling it out to people who have not earned it? You think there is a chance they might have a problem with that?
