Sorry to offend you and your whole race, but did you notice that were were talking about the mooch mentality, and that *rednecks* and *undocumented immigrants* were also included? Pretty much covers everyone looking for a handout, not a hand up.
If you are still PO'd about slavery 200 years ago, and segregation 40 years ago, and thinking you can never achieve anything in this country on your own initiative because the deck is stacked against you, so that you are owed perpetual public assistance, then you need to adjust your thinking.
If you are from Mexico and think the entire southwest US of A was stolen from you and therefore I need to support you and your family for the rest of your lives, get over it.
If you are from Appalachia and your parents and grandparents were on welfare so that it has become your family's traditional way of life, maybe you should think about changing that for the next generation.
It's the grudge mentality, sense of entitlement, and the defeatist attitude, not the race or nationality, that breeds freeloaders. Frankly, I am not offended by the stereotypes of drunken Irishmen, stingy Scotsmen or Jew-killing Germans (my lineages) because I am not any of those things. I was raised differently and don't identify with the references. Apparently you were raised differently as well. Why do you identify?
