Who are "you guys">>>>I couldn't care less about Ewards

I don't know about "you all" but
I don't judge people by what they wear.  I don't shop at Neiman or Saks and I'm not overly impressed by those who do.  I wouldn't care if she did her shopping at Good Will if I thought she had enough brains to turn this country around.  With her foreign policy knowledge being that Russia flies over Alaska and she can see Russia from her front porch on a clear day, The odds are highly in favor of her running this country at some point if McCain is elected.
"You better" ....
:)
You should be ashamed

You don't seem to think much at all.  You probably listen to faux news and Hannity.  Have you not seen what Bush did the last 8 years?  He is a criminal.  AL Queda is not in Iraq.  That war is about oil.  Cheney has the contract to rebuild Iraq for $5 billion for his Halliburton company.  He still gets money from that company.  The English being the official language is way more complicated than a small mind like yours can comprehend.  The fact is that right now we do not have an official language.  The reason they won't make it an official language is that if someone of hispanic origins comes to the emergency room, they wouldn't be able to communicate if things were only printed in English.

Bush destroyed our country.  Palin is a dumb person who can't answer a straight question and so hides from the media unless it's the haters like Rush and Hannity.  That discredits her even more.  Fox news shouldn't even be legal.  You can say the media is biased but Fox News outright lies.  They take pieces of text out of context and try to make something of it.  Obama is not palling around with terrorists.  Bill Ayers was working with the Mayor of Chicago.  You are a complete moron and unfortunately, there are a few like you out there.  You sound like a stupid hillbilly.  You think Bush was a conservative and look what he did in his time as president.... he turned the banking system into socialism.

McCain ditched his first wife who waited for him while he was in prison.  That's just not nice.  Cindy McCain is all botoxed out... $100 million a year she makes and so I seriously doubt she is a regular person.  They are insulated from the problems of common idiots like you, yet you stick up for them.

I think you should be ashamed
It was Obama who did that with the ecomy.  He was involved with Fannie Mae and signed bills to get people into homes they couldn't afford, no down payment and no documentation.  His college and his wife's college as well as his house was financed with terrorists.  Look on Godtube and see the videos from Saddleback.
I'm ashamed at you....
Food stamps has nothing to do with race, and if you think it does then you better rethink who the prejudice one is.
I'm not ashamed
to be an American,  I am ashamed of the deeds done by the government to give us Americans a bad name.  We are very much hated around the world and the fault does not lie solely on Bush.  I do know soldiers personally that did not agree with Bush going to Iraq, but those soldiers ALSO stated they were not happy with Obama's "we can't win" sentiment over the "conflict" in Iraq.  To them, this felt like he does not believe in the US military enough.
The "you's" are the judiciary committee....
never meant to imply anyone else. And I frankly don't care how many are exposed, be they Republican, Democrat or polka-dotted. What I think would happen is that there would be a lot of people exposed, a lot of ties between people that might shock people, and that it will never get to the impeachment process. Ever think that it might be to the advantage of professional politicians tha America stays split? The end result, "we the people" will be more disgusted with politics than ever and with both parties. Of course there will still be the hard-liner tunnel-visioned on both sides who won't believe what comes out anyway if it does not fall in their belief system that the Democratic party (or the Republican party) can do no wrong. Some things never change. Sigh.

And there is that segment of the population, the professional politicians, who who don't really believe anything other than what it takes to advance their power base. As I have said ad nauseam, I only register as a Republican in primary years because I HAVE to in order to vote in them. Otherwise, independent because neither of the major parties interest me in the least and it is getting worse by the day.

And no, I don't necessarily think more republicans would come home to roost than democrats in republican administration. Especially since this republican administration kept over so many from the Clinton administration (so much for trying to bipartisan and reach across the aisle. He kept more people over from the last admin in his first term, I think, than any other Pres has. Most of them clean house when they come in). And not much of that went well (Armitage, Tenet, and how many others?). I think anyone honest can say a lot of the problems we face today were in part brought about by those very folks. They at the very least had both hands in it.

And when I said I wanted to know the truth...I meant that. I said the same thing during the Clinton impeachment...and everyone who watched any of that knows the man is guilty of both perjury and obstruction, no matter what he was lying under oath ABOUT, And THAT congressional montage let him walk. So I don't have faith, personally, in ANY professional politician. It is all about power and keeping it.

However, if all this ranting and raving and posturing does inadvertently prove that both parties were involved perhaps this two-party system we have basically been forced into will finally get shaken up enough to listen to "we the people" because they have not in a long time.

Piglet, I think this is a political exercise and I think those starting it have no interest in justice, just like those who started against Clinton had no interest in justice. If they had, they would have convicted him. It was an exercise, this is an exercise. But it has gotten so hatefully, bittery partisan that maybe some of them may not see that they perhaps would be hammering nails into their own political coffins (save Pelosi and a few others who are trying to keep it from happening). And by they, I mean any and all of the resident politicians in DC.

So I say let them have at it. And when the dust settles, we might actually have enough disgusted rank and file in America that who might get elected at that point? Ron Paul? I am at the point now where the whole thing is just ridiculous.

Pelosi is using her power the only way she knows how...in an effort to KEEP it. That is what they are ALL about. If she cared about the truth or justice and really felt in her heart of hearts that anyone in the administration was guilty of impeachable offenses she SHOULD go forward. The fact that she does not, and even tries to keep her fellow Dems from going forward, tells me all I need to know.

That being said...I have not had faith in much of any congressional montage period since Clinton walked and not only walked, continued as President. And even if WE the people push for it, we are not going to see anything done unless the professional politicians weigh the pro's and con's and if they think it will help insure winning the White House, they will go forward. If they think it will not, or will in any way hinder that goal, they won't. That is, sadly, the bottom line and because of that, we may never know the truth. It is in their best interest to just have the innuendo out there...because seeking the truth sometimes finds it, and that might not be the most opportune thing for getting the White House back. Politics.

And in the end...I am wondering if THAT matters, because we knew the truth about Bill Clinton and it didn't matter..he still was not convicted though they all knew he was guilty. Not of multiple affairs, against which there is no law, but lying under oath before a federal grand jury. There is no question he did it, we all saw him do it on national television. So it is not a question of guilt. The perjury automatically proved the obstruction count, he lied to keep from being caught, thereby obstructing "justice." And he not only walked on perjury and obstruction, he remained President. The Arkansas Bar Association knew he was guilty...said so and disbarred him. I believe that soured me (not because it was Bill Clinton...sheesh...but because the law should be applied equally to ALL and certainly that should include the President of the United States no matter what party he is a member of). And those same people who bemoan Clinton being impeached are thirsting for impeachment of someone else for the SAME crime. I don't understand that. I do not understand the incapability of some to grasp the concept of equality under the law. I thought that was a founding concept of America. Equal application of the law to all, no matter how high up the chain it goes. Guess that is just asking too much of people, to put down partisan politics and just look at the facts, guilty or not guilty. Didn't happen with Clinton. I don't have much faith that it will happen this time either, though the same people who want to excuse Clinton want to fry Cheney and use that to jump start frying Bush. They really don't care if it is true or not. Sigh. Almost laughable.

And I think that the powers that be in Washington just don't want us to know everything that would come out in impeachment hearings. Which are televised, so it would be HARD, HARD, HARD to spin. And the American people, I believe, are in a place where certain kinds of information would have very long-reaching effects. because I think there are more people toward the middle of the spectrum that the hard right or hard left.

So, I still say bring it on, have the hearings if they think they have the goods, and let it all come out. If the evidence points to guilt of Cheney, them impeach him, and if it is proven he is guilty, then remove him from office. And if others are in the process found to have committed crimes, then prosecute them and throw them in the cell next to Libby. Be they Dem, Repub, or polka-dotted. Let's try to get it right this time. Put the criminals in jail, not back in the White House. We can't go back and put Clinton in jail where he belongs, but we can get it right this time (yeah right, like that will happen, but one can hope).

If I sound disgusted, I am. As disgusted as kam but in a totally different way.

"You're answer"
If you don't want discussion and/or argument, don't post. Simple as that. If I know something related to someone's post, I'm gonna post a reply.

And you never argue on this forum, do you?
I am not one of what you call "you people."
I didn't state any number or any guesstimate of how many people attended tea parties. I can speak for my town, which is a small town, and there were about 300 people at our court house yesterday.

Final counts aren't in from some of the larger cities, but even that won't be a fair representation of the numbers because of small towns like mine that might not be added in the mix - those numbers do add up.

All I was wondering from you is why you chose to quote a Canadian article - you answered that it was because it would be an unbiased source. However, it would be a biased source because they would really have no first-hand knowledge of how many parties there were, where they were, how many people attened, etc.

Personally, I attended not because I'm a conservative or republican or anything like that. And it wasn't a front for some big corporation so the rich could keep their taxes low (and I'm far from being rich!) I attended because I don't think Congress is doing a very good job spending my money. When people like Chuck Schumer stand up there and say things like the American people don't care about the pork, that's when I get upset. And for them to get all up in arms about the AIG bonuses, only to find out it was all right there in black and white in the stimulus package, but none of them even bothered to read it, that's when I get upset! If you and I did something like that in our jobs, we'd be fired on the spot!

This sort of thing should have happened years ago because the spending in DC has been out of control, even when the republicans were in charge (that's when I started voting democrat for a while.)It just makes my blood boil to hear the republicans in DC spout off about all the spending the democrats are doing - why weren't they doing anything about it 8 or 10 years ago? But it makes me madder still to hear them all (republicans and democrats) DEFEND spending all this money now and then leaving our children to have to pay for it later.

I just don't think it's right for the government to think that it can live by one set of rules while the rest of us have to live by another.

Okay, enough of a book, just needed to get that off my chest.

Why should I be ashamed - I'm not 17 and preggie!

sorry to hear your ashamed of yourself
C'mon people get with the facts. You may not like it but a fact is a fact and you can't change it.

What do you mean "people like me". You mean people who do research and will accept good and bad on both sides. You mean people like me who want to know the truth.
I am ashamed of the USA for having these insulting,
nm
And I'm ashamed of the USA for electing the
the so-called 'moral majority' that elected him. What's wrong with you people, anyway? Are you all missing the same chromosomes?
You ashamed to show us your name?
I guess I would be too if I were you. You talk about rants! Shucks, guess I am just being obnoxious again.
To Ashamed Black MT:

I wholeheartedly agree with JTBB.  I think people see different things when they see Obama.

What I see is someone who is also half WHITE.  I see someone who wouldn't even have been allowed to EXIST in this country not very long before he was born because interracial marriage was against the law.  I see how far our country has come, despite all the bigots and racists, some of which obviously linger (but hopefully will go by the way of the dinosaur).

Most of all, I see someone who represents the BEST in most of us, instead of the LEAST in the few of us.  By acknowledging my EXISTENCE (and I'm white) as someone in America who isn't a millionaire, by acknowledging the EXISTENCE of a healthcare problem and by acknowleding the EXISTENCE of all the other problems that plague people who were once part of the almost extinct middle class, he is acknowledging the existence of most of us, which is much more than has been done by the Republicans during either the last eight years or even during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

I have great faith in him, especially when I see him with his children, that he truly wants what is best for everyone in this country.  I have no idea why so many people are so threatened by him.  I truly see hope for a better future, even though I've been "programmed" to live on edge and wonder what the "President" is doing next to stick it to the little guy.  Hopefully, I'll get over that "reflex," and hopefully he won't give me a reason to question or criticize him.

I agree with you...........we should be ashamed
to vote a person into the presidency who has NO respect for life at all!! If a woman does not feel she wants or can care for the child, there is adoption.

I have a niece and a nephew through adoption and I feel blessed that their mothers cared enough for those children to give them up for adoption and show TRUE love and selflessness for that unborn child!
Olbermann: "You owe this country an apology." sm
Another great special comment from Keith Olbermann.
"You're not forced to read this" is what I was
nm
What part of "you don't have a choice" don't you understand
"Obama will call on citzens of all ages to serve America" My God!!!! Don't you hear this. Don't you question this. Don't you know what the germans when through with Hitler????

Forced is forced. You can put any fancy name on it you want. It is still the same as military service. Once in you don't have a choice of what you do. I was in the military, I lived with a german couple who went through the holocaust and heard many stories. I KNOW the military. What starts out as civil service turns into military service. Heck call it the country club service if it makes you feel more important than the military. The truth is this is forced and you don't have a choice. This is how the Hitler youth started (by feeling more important than those who weren't in the Hitler youth). They then went on to be the SS and finally the Gestapo. Sure the Hitler youth felt very "patriotic" and wanted to serve the Fuhrer. They were made to feel privilaged and would receive things (i.e. tuition to college, etc). It later turned out to be a much different story and unfortunately they had no choice. You cannot just leave whenever you want to. I don't want to see my nieces and nephews have to go through that. I blame all who voted for the O for that.

P.S. - NOT voluntary! What part are you not understanding. Mandatory and forced do not mean you have a choice. Just wait til the uniforms come. It's going to be slow but when it happens maybe you'll remember what I said. But then again the parents of the Hitler youth's wanted their children to enter the Hitler youth so they too would feel privaleged and patriotic. I just can't believe people are buying into it without a second question. That is what is so "disgusting" about that!!!!
YOU should be ashamed for supporting a candidate

Your statement makes me ashamed
Jesus did not teach this kind of hatred. I will pray for your elightenment.
Secretary Napolitano should be ashamed!!

Now she thinks if you're against abortion, you're an "extremist".  If you don't like the government's crap, you're an "extremism".  If you want LESS government, you're an "extremist".   If you're a veteran, you're a LOT more likely to be an "extremist".   This is just the kind of garbage mentality running our country!!!   We now let our "extremist" government decide who are the "bad" groups?  According to them, ANYONE who opposes their spending activity is an "extremist"!!

She could have just as easily stood at her little podium and stated that all these people have EVERY right to be heard and express themselves, but she didn't.  She demonized anyone who doesn't like our present administration or any administration for that matter.............  absolutely pathetic!

I would be ashamed if I were someone with Rush's ignorance. No jealousy here. But I do wonder a
lot about those who are his fans.
People like you make me ashamed to call myself

I do not support unjust wars, and I am not ashamed to say so!
Do you know many billions of dollars have been wasted in Iraq? Our men and women do not belong there, and I believe their time would be better spent doing something constructive in this country rather than killing people in other countries.
In my last sentance I meant a coward, not ashamed -nm

Dubai company set to run U.S. ports has ties to administration

BY MICHAEL MCAULIFF
New York Daily News

WASHINGTON - The Dubai firm that won Bush administration backing to run six U.S. ports has at least two ties to the White House.

One is Treasury Secretary John Snow, whose department heads the federal panel that signed off on the $6.8 billion sale of an English company to government-owned Dubai Ports World - giving it control of Manhattan's cruise ship terminal and Newark's container port.

Snow was chairman of the CSX rail firm that sold its own international port operations to DP World for $1.15 billion in 2004, the year after Snow left for President Bush's cabinet.

The other connection is David Sanborn, who runs DP World's European and Latin American operations and who was tapped by Bush last month to head the U.S. Maritime Administration.

The ties raised more concerns about the decision to give port control to a company owned by a nation linked to the Sept. 11 hijackers.

The more you look at this deal, the more the deal is called into question, said Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., who said the deal was rubber-stamped in advance - even before DP World formally agreed to buy London's P&O port company.

Besides operations in New York and Jersey, Dubai would also run port facilities in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Baltimore and Miami.

The political fallout over the deal only grows.

It's particularly troubling that the United States would turn over its port security not only to a foreign company, but a state-owned one, said western New York's Rep. Tom Reynolds, chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee. Reynolds is responsible for helping Republicans keep their majority in the House.

Snow's Treasury Department runs the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., which includes 11 other agencies.

It always raises flags when administration officials have ties to a firm, Rep. Vito Fossella, R-N.Y., said, but insisted that stopping the deal was more important.

The New York Daily News has learned that lawmakers also want to know if a detailed 45-day investigation should have been conducted instead of one that lasted no more than 25 days.

According to a 1993 congressional measure, the longer review is mandated when the company is owned by a foreign government and the purchase could result in control of a person engaged in interstate commerce in the U.S. that could affect the national security of the U.S.

Congressional sources said the president has until March 2 to trigger that closer look.

The most important thing is for someone to explain how this is consistent with our national security, Fossella said.

you guys
First, there are no terrorists and we are just fighting a senseless war. Then no one is to be trusted!  LOL!  Cracks me up.
I think that 19 guys getting
on planes and crashing them into buildings were pretty freakin' emboldened to begin with. Whatever is making them more bold (and I would debate that - I don't think they could get more bold) it is not a bunch of lefties carrying signs. I think they are as bold as bold gets right now without any help from us and they are splintering more and more...soldiers of God, sounds like Jim Jones.
after what you guys have done to her....
take two. Don't forget the mouth. :)
So, sm, what about those guys in

  • Republican sex offender and former North Country assemblyman and current state Parole Board member, George "Chris" Ortloff, 61, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 on federal charges that he used the Internet to solicit sex with minors. He was arrested following a sting operation at a Colonie motel and had allegedly arranged for a date with a minor he met on the Internet. '' The New York Post reports that he had child pornography and sex paraphernalia in his possession when he was arrested. State Police reportedly searched Ortloff'''s home in Plattsburgh and a computer had been seized from his Lake Placid real estate office, officials said. Ortloff, married with two sons, retired from the Assembly in 2006 having represented the 110 th District. '' He was appointed to the part-time position on the Parole Board, a six year term which expires in 2012, a position paying him $102,000 a year.

    • Republican sex offender & Missouri State Rep. Scott Muschany, (R)-Frontenac, was indicted today, Aug 6, 2008, in connection with a reported sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl on May 17, the day after this year’s Legislative session ended. The alleged victim is the daughter of a state employee. The girl’s mother and Muschany, a married father of 2 children, were romantically involved, the woman said. (Aren't "Family Values" a wonderful thing?) In a morbid twist of irony, Muschany was a co-sponsor of legislation that toughened sex offender laws in 2006. According to his legislative biography, Muschany and his wife were licensed as foster parents with the Division of Family Services.

      • Republican sex offender & longtime stalwart Republican operative Peter Hong was arrested July 23, 2008 for solicitation of prostitution. Police spokesman Peter Panos said that the arrest came during the first day of a two-day sting operation during which "johns" and prostitutes responded to ads placed on the Internet and in print. Thirty-five people were arrested Wednesday and Thursday, Panos said today.

        • Republican sex offender & candidate for Mineral County (W.Va.) Commission Wilton Frederick Bland, 30, of Bayberry Place, was arrested March 23, 2007, after police received a complaint concerning a juvenile boy who said Bland had wanted him to appear nude on the Internet. Bland charged last year with 136 counts related to sexually based crimes against children has been sentenced to a possible total of 85 years after pleading guilty in both Grant and Mineral counties. was charged at the time with 73 counts of possession of child pornography, 45 counts of sexual assault in the first degree for allegedly having sex with a child under age 11, nine counts of use of obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor, seven counts of display of obscene matter to a minor and two counts of employing a minor to do sexually explicit conduct, according to the West Virginia State Police.

          • Republican Delegate Robert McKee, known as an advocate for children's rights, is the focus of a child pornography investigation after officers searched his Hagerstown, MD home. McKee is not facing any charges right now, but as of today, Feb 15, 2008, he has resigned his position as both a state delegate and as executive director of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Club of Washington County. In a statement, McKee said he is entering treatment to, "get well and stay well." Shock waves echoed through Hagerstown, as the news that he was being investigated for child pornography spread like wildfire.
**We will be keeping an eye on this story for further developments**

            • Republican sex offender & Department of Children & Families press secretary AL Zimmerman, 40, was arrested Friday, Feb 1, 2008 and charged with eight felony charges of using a child in a sexual performance. According to an arrest report, Zimmerman offered two teens money in exchange for photographing them in sexual acts. The victims were ages 16 and 17 at the time of the crime, and at least one may have been in the care of DCF at one point, according to the report. Authorities believe some of the images date back to December 2005, the arrest report showed. Zimmerman is suspected of taking photos as recently as Friday, the report showed.

              • The Republican Mayor, who is also the Pastor of the Temple Lot Church in Collins Missouri, a town in St. Clair County, is accused of trying to convince someone whom he thought was a teenage girl to meet him for sex. Diamond police say Allen D Kauffman is charged in Newton County with four counts of enticement of a child after an online investigation that began in mid-November.
Diamond Police Detective Jim Murray says he posed as a 13-year-old girl named Cindy and was approached by a man who used the screen name duke dukeadk on Nov. 15 about noon in an online chat room.
Murray says Kauffman discussed meeting her to take nude photos and to have sex. Over the course of seven conversations during the past two months, transcripts show each chat was sexually graphic. Murray say Kauffman recognized the girl’s age, and even showed some hesitation, teasing the girl about whether she could be a cop.
Police say Kauffman repeatedly asked the girl to use a webcam, and didn't wait long to use his. The detective saved some photos from a webcam on Kauffman's computer in his home in Collins.

                • Republican Party Chairman Donald Fleischman, 37, of Allouez, Wisconsin was charged last month with two counts of child enticement, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child and a single charge of exposing himself to a child for allegedly fondling a 16-year-old Ethan House runaway and providing the boy with beer and marijuana late last year.

                  • Republican U.S. Justice Department official John David R. Atchison, 53, an assistant U.S. attorney from the northern district of Florida, has been arrested on suspicion of traveling to Detroit over the weekend to have sex with a 5 year old child. An undercover officer posed as a mother offering her child to Atchison for sex, according to police. In deposition, detectives said Atchison suggested the mother tell her daughter that "you found her a sweet boyfriend who will bring her presents." The undercover detective expressed concern about physical injury to the 5-year-old girl as a result of the sexual activity. Detectives said Atchison responded, " I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice." The undercover detective asked how Atchison can be certain of no injury. He responded, "Just gotta go slow and very easy. I've done it plenty," according to detectives.
**UPDATE: John Atchison has killed himself. Detroit police confirmed Atchison's suicide death at 10:14 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2007. Good riddance, scumbag!

                    • Republican city councilman John Bryan killed himself after police began investigating allegations that he had molested three girls, including two of his adopted daughters, ages 12 and 15.

                      • Republican Homeland Security deputy press secretary Brian J. Doyle , 55, was arrested Tuesday night, April 4, 2006 and charged with trying to "seduce'' a 14-year-old Polk County girl with graphic talk over the Internet. Dasen Sr., was found guilty of raping a 15-year old girl. Dasen, 62, who is married with grown children and several grandchildren, has allegedly told police that over the past decade he paid more than $1 million to have sex with a large number of young women.

                                                                                                                                                                    • Republican Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld authorized the rape of children in Iraqi prisons in order to humiliate their parents into providing information about the anti-American insurgency. Wall street is crashing, pew, pew, wink, wink, I just about fell out of my trailer. Me and joe six pack could not find a condom and my daughter sure did not have one, then the president came on and the wow, geez, its all about jobs you know.
He did not take anything from big guys
The limit is $2,300 for the primary and $2,300 for the general election. Certain companies that are big and powerful had employees who gave donations, but he did not take any lobbyist money. I think that very big people who are anonymous yank the whole government's chains though. Look at the congress...ugh!
                                                                                                                                                                        who are you guys?
Everything you just blabbered on and on about is exactly government control. Listening in on private conversation....government control.

Paying taxes for Gitmo and the moochers of this country....government control. Paying for Gitmo criminals to come over here courtesy of Obama and we pay to house them here in this country as well and pay for Obama to allow them to be tortured in this country.....government control.

You mean paying for the private companies that are corrupt and made one deceitful decision after another while Barney Frank sang their praies just a few weeks before they screwed their employees over?......government control.

Paying taxes to keep up ANYTHING except our military.....government control.

Tax breaks to companies overseas? Can't blame one party for that....both parties have caused that. Those overseas companies actually started here. They went overseas because of government control once again. No government control of their companies, i.e., tax.....they stay here and hire our people to work. Just like McCain said, cut their taxes big time and they will come back here and hire our people. WHat did Obama say? I will tax the heck out of them, those big old bad companies. You think they're gonna stay here at all now? GOVERNMENT CONTROL.....

Overturn Roe v Wade? Absolutely! Federal government had no business making that decision in the first place. That should be state decisions. New York was the first state to say yes,you can kill babies here, and guess what? Many went there and found a way to do it. Those states that do not want abortion should not have it forced down their throats either.......government control.

Let us not even begin talking about segregation, which by the way, had its beginnings at the democratic level. If you're so concerned about segregation, maybe you need to look to the democratic party, which was the biggest killer of civil rights laws for the blacks in this country, including the well-loved president Kennedy, who shot down every civil rights law that came his way and the KKK leader (democrat) who despised Martin Luther King and condemned his messages...I believe he called him an inciter of hate. BTW, MLK was a Republican for all those who live in ignorance believing the democrats are their friend. He certainly knew who was standing up for civil rights for blacks and it WASN't the democrats. MLK fought the democrats who stood at the doors of the school house. Democrats fought to keep blacks in slavery and they also passed the Jim Crow laws and Black Codes. It was actually a republican president who pushed to get the civil rights laws passed to allow desegregation in the first place. I'm not sure how you equal abortion of babies to segregation, but it's not the same thing.

If you mean Independent Party when you say you guys, then that is what we're for......less government. Did you hear me say anything that would applaud bigger goverment?

If government wasn't involved you wouldn't have to worry about deregulation and monopolies of companies. If those in Congress on BOTH sides didn't have their hands in these companies, you wouldn't be seeing any of these problems. Government should have let them crumble. We're in this "mess" because government stuck their big noses in, took my money once again, and gave everyone a blank check.......government control.

Problem is, until democrats stop pointing fingers at the republicans, when the problem lies with BOTH parties, then government will continue to control your life.

                                                                                                                                                                        you guys

crack me up.  Instead of accusing someone else of being disrespectful, why not look in the mirror.  That seems to be your raison d'etre.

You mean like the way you guys have...(sm)

given Obama such a break before he even got into office, and now all through the ceremony?  No.

I would not delay prosecuting Bush for war crimes just as I would not delay prosecuting a murder that lived next door.  I would have been happy if they would have carted him off to prison at 12:01 today.

You guys are really something.  The man committed a crime, has been blatent about committing that crime, and all you do is defend him....unbelievable.

                                                                                                                                                                        Maybe the guys at YU.....
threatened to pound them if they messed with us girls? lol - anything is possible.

I don't see where you guys are getting
this stuff.  Fox News has a link on their website talking about the violence in Iran and last night and this morning they had one of their correspondence over in Iran on the phone reporting what is going on.  Fox isn't NOT reporting about Iran.
What planet do you guys come from?
You actually think people by this stuff as genuine. Again, do you actually think through what you state, or do you state it for the shock effect. I assume it's the latter.

You conservatives crack me up..You are on the liberal board, reading liberal information and you just cant help yourself, you attack liberal posts on the liberal board..That is too funny.  And that rabid dog *Rep* keeps posting on my posts, even though I told the person I will no longer read posts from *Rep*.  You guys just cant stop it, can ya?  I know times are scary for republicans right now and it is just eating away at you all.  It is laughable.
Guys, I'm going to be honest...sm
I don't see what the major deal is about the wire tapping. Maybe there's something I'm missing, but as a child I've always been told that the government tapped phone lines warrantlessly (seeing as how they could probably get a warrant anyway).

So tell me in laymen's terms, what is the big problem with this for the average law abiding citizen?
