One would think that QA would welcome the opportunity to be able to pass on knowledge and encourage an MT. I wonder how many MTs with potential have given up from what your replies to their work must look like if they are anything like your post. I have not had the opportunity to perform QA, but have sure felt the wrath, and believe a QA position should positive feedback, not condescending comments. If you have someone not making it, that's a different story. Document it and send it to the boss with your concerns.
