I don't watch Hannity....but as far as MSNBC...
have you watched Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann? Keith Olbermann is worse than Rush Limbaugh ever thought about being...and yes, I think Rush is condescending and I don't like the talking down on either side. It obscures any point that might be made. I can't watch Chris Matthews for more than 30 seconds and I have never made it past 1 word with Olbermann. And Chris Matthews is realllyyy bad about talking over his guests to make HIS point. So I guess every network has their Hannity/Matthews/Olbermann et al. But, some people like that condescending stuff and find things funny that I don't...but hey, it takes all kinds to make the world turn, I guess.

Because if they don't pass this bill, all of these things will be cheaper and more affordable. You obviously do not pay attention to anything that really happens for the low income earner. Most income earners period do not want any help from the government. Those would be the ones who try to live within their means, do not feel "entitled" and strive to do better, and push their children to get an education, better themselves, and be good people.
Now, those that do very little, work as little as possible, get nice brand new housing, which they destroy in a few years, nice HUGE wrought iron fences put around their big old compound of new homes and condos, while the rest of us do without home repairs because we don't get freebies. Those poor folks have vehicles much newer than mine sitting in front of those apartments/condos/single residence homes which is a big question to me considering someone with that expensive of a vehicle should not be able to be on "public housing" in the first place. They then go to free healthcare at the same places everyone who actually pays their way goes. They get free lunches for their children, which thank the Lord they do, because so many of their parents are too lazy to cook a meal in the first place or even bother to be home when the children get home from school, because they got mothers are running the streets and daddies knocking up somebody else. I have bothered to help children whom I know are being neglected and I hate they have to live in that garbage, but it is not their fault; they are only children.
But to knock someone down who has strong feelings about all the freebies Obama wants to give and give to those who pay no taxes in the first place....get over yourself. He has no right. We give to the tune of millions as it is and believe me, I see where my money goes and it is an unappreciated luxury for many of those in my town.
People in the income bracket of an MT will not be footing the bill!! Are you in a delusional state? Of course they will be. Every MT isn't single; they do have other income with a spouse and believe you me, there are plenty that will be sucked dry.
THe MAJORITY of middle-class jobs in this country will be GONE, GONE, GONE!!! They cannot afford all the mandates Obama was to place on them. They live a very modest life in the first place just to employ others and provide a service. You blabber on about who it WON'T hurt, yet you are clueless. You've got your mind stuck on heavily on the "rich", thinking that anyone who makes more than you must be "rich" and therefore, we should PUNISH them for doing better than you. Those mean 'ole guys who got a college education, worked their butts off to move ahead, and strived to have more. Who the heck do they think they are?
I know many of those middle-class folks who own businesses in this town and you go tell them they won't be paying a nickel and they will laugh in your face at your ignorance. Ignorance is what Obama hopes he has going for him. People who just follow that "sound good" deal like little sheep to the slaughter. If you think your country is in a bind now, you just wait.

The levy failed because their precious Mayor Negan blew the 60 million dollars he was given years earlier to do just that.......FIX THE LEVY! Did ya see any of those welfare recipients yelling at the mayor to fix the levy? Pleeeeze! Most couldn't even tell you anything about their local government or any government for that matter. At what point does their mayor hold any responsibility for the lives lost? What I'm seeing here is any black person in power who is a crook, i.e., in this case, Negan, who took all those millions and no questions asked, then no one blames him because he's black, but if that had been a white mayor, all he!! would have broke lose on him and all the questions as to where all those 60 millions bucks were to fix the levy!!
Do your homework and stop playing that blame game. Those poor souls as they love to be referred to, couldn't give a rat's butt about contributing to their society in a positive fashion. Today he stood up and said to the Muslim countries that their wives and daughters had just as much to contribute as their sons. He is not pandering to the Muslim countries. He is standing firm for equality. Do you have a problem with this? I am a Christian and I think that if the question were asked "what would Jesus say?", he would say "Job well done my son".

I see it very differently. Chris Mathews is a big ole softy who loves, loves, loves this country. Keith O has a twinkle in his eye and assumes the viewers are well informed. They both seem to love their jobs and relish discussing politics. They are my absolute favorites.

I really like their commentators. I do think they are pro Obama, but not rabidly so. Rachel has criticized the Obama campaign at times. Pat Buchanan certainly is not pro democrat. Joe Scar is not pro Obama. I get good information from the pro-O commentators and a balanced viewpoint from the Repub commentators. The commentators have been in politics for years, so they point out things I might not have thought about. I like Keith O's humor. When he presents information he gives sources and verification for it. When he is wrong, he corrects himself. While I was listening to John McC last night, my mind started to wander. I remembered then why I used to find politics so boring. Remember Dole? I think Obama brings energy to politics and makes it worth paying attention to.
