The polls are not accurate...
slanted for obama like everything else the liberal media tells you. People (myself included) tend to believe what they want to believe
Then don't call them "her" polls. THAT was my point. nm
nm
It's not Arab land tho'. The land has always belonged to the Jews!

Whatever the U.S. does or doesn't do where Israel and the middle east is involved is irrelevant.  The land of Israel is THE promised land.  It belongs to the Jews.  They have had to fight for it against odds stacked against them and have won.

I'm voting for Obama. That's what I'm telling the pollsters.

If you believe in polls good for you - The King of Polls said
So the polls only poll a few small areas with certain demographics. You trust that. Sure maybe they only poll Hollyweird and the other liberal cities. They also reflect all the phone voter registrations, so maybe to your cat and cartoon characters it matters that Obama is ahead. Me - I'll wait for election day to find out the truth about who is ahead in the race. I've said it before and I'll say it again (and glad to know Mr. Rassmusin backs me up on this one) - polls do not matter and do not reflect a real vision of who is ahead in the race.
The polls that supply that electoral map are just that....polls...sm
Polls mean less than nothing to me. Polls intimidate and mislead the voters, in my opinion. Thanks for asking.

This is not accurate.

The website that was provided very cleverly misled the reader to believe it was "required."  They typed the word REQUIRED (in red and underlined just as I typed it) which led to the REAL link describing his proposal.  Nowhere in the GENUINE link did it describe anything that was REQUIRED.  It is a voluntary program.  My guess is that everyone read the propaganda site and didn't bother to click on the link (as I typed it above) which showed the true program.

I'm going to try to explain this again.  Once again, here is the link that was provided as "proof" regarding Obama's program:  http://kokonutpundits.blogspot.com/2008/11/obamas-new-youth-corp-requirement.html

I copied and pasted part of it below.  Note where it says, "Yes, require."  The article then goes on to mislead the reader about the program.  If you click on the "require" link, it will take you to the GENUINE website that TRULY describes Obama's program, which I have also copied and pasted here in full.

Obama's New Youth Corp Requirement?

Obama to set up a draft-like bill requiring 13 to 25 year olds to perform community service. Yes, REQUIRE.

The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

Genuine site (that you get by clicking on red "require" link in "misleading" site):

America Serves

"When you choose to serve -- whether it's your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood -- you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That's why it's called the American dream."

Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

NOWHERE does it imply or read that anything will be REQUIRED.

THIS tactic is exactly how lies are started and fears are raised.

Accurate, though.
About as classy as subversive Christian politics, without the million-dollar sheen.

If I could have thought of a "classier" metaphor, believe me I would have. Unfortunately, that is EXACTLY how the ad made me feel, & I have no desire to sugar-coat the insidiousness of the Christian right; not for you or anyone else.

You should thank your lord & savior that NO ONE is cramming atheism or agnosticism down your gullet in the same manner.
If your definition is accurate
which I highly dobut then I guess I'm a liberal because I don't pledge blind loyalty to Bush. On the other hand I don't think every word he says is a lie either. I think he is a human capable of human mistakes, but I don't think every problem in the world at this moment is Bush's fault like many on this board do. I think many people are obsessed with the fact there's a conservative in office. It wouldn't matter what their name was Bush or Smith, the obsession would be the same. There are many wacko theories out there on all sorts of issues, but some I have read here take the cake. You don't talk about any other issues other than Bush is fault of everything wrong in this world. To me, liberal or conservative, is a little off the deep end no matter what political ideology you come from.
This is not an accurate statement
Please provide non-partisan sources that state that the majority of scientists state that global warming is bunk.
Nope, just accurate.

You do know that Wikipedia is not always accurate, don't you?
I would hope you don't believe everything on the internet. Too bad people don't read or think for themselves anymore and have to trust websites (which can be compromised) for all of their information. It's so easy to cut and paste and not do any real research. Just look at some of the reports we type up; Google is used for everything and can be wrong.
I want change. Chump change. I'm voting for Obama as far as the pollsters go.

Obama is change you can believe in until you have to take it to the bank.

Our jobs have been offshored until now because of greed.  Under Obama and his taxation of small businesses, they will be offshored not because of greed but because of survival.

You could make a difference for our country by not voting for Obama, but instead, if you vote for him, you are selling out to deception.  You are embracing a socialist, a communist, a Marxist, a liar, a cheat, and someone who legally cannot run as President of the U.S., much less the Illinois senate.  But, you make your choice.  You believe the consumate liar and his lies who sat for 20 years under the teachings of a black racist preacher filled with hatred for the U.S., whose association with Bill Ayers is recent and documented down to the fact that Ayers himself wrote Obama's best-selling book (best-selling in the eyes of far left liberals that is), who is a documented member of the socialist party, whose friends and close allies are extremists who not only bomb innocent people and are unrepenetent but who intend to eliminate (kill) 25 million Americans who they cannot "re-educate" in communist ideaology (gosh dog it, those dreadful capitalists), who refuses to hand over a certified copy of his birth certificate and educational records (my goodness, don't you have to provide your birth certificate to any number of entities who want to know if you are legal, i.e., social security, DMVs, etc., and your educational records would show if you had received aid as a foreigner and in 1963 would have shown you were a negro instead of an African-American which Obama's falsified record shows, please speck up on history), and who thinks Joe the Plumber is so stupid not to realize that if he wants to achieve the American dream, he is going to achieve it only if he lets Obama take what he makes to give to those WHO WILL NOT WORK.  I'd like to see you, liberals, give a share of your 7.5 cpl to those who don't work as hard as you, but then with Obama, that's what you will have to do.  Don't be fooled by his rhetoric that only those making over $250,00 will be taxed.  We will all be taxed, and there will be no incentive to work for any of us because we will all have to give up a piece of our pie so those who do not work can have a piece of our pie.

Here is the dividing line, folks.  We are at a crossroads in our history.  The Lord Jesus puts it this way, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction; and there are many who go in by it."

Choose which gate you enter, the wide or the narrow.  It not only determines your eternal destination, but it determines the destination of this country.  If anyone here calls themself a Christian and can vote for Osambo, I daresay you are a liar and cheat just as he.  One cannot be a Christian and vote for a party and a political candidate who is in total rebellion to God's Word.  That is a fact, and if you think any differently, then you, too, like the Obamanation, call God a liar.  May He have mercy upon your soul.  As He makes the rain fall on the just and the unjust because He is no respector of persons, we will all suffer as this country is destroyed and our Constitution that guarantees our freedoms is trampled just as Bill Ayers is pictured standing upon our flag in total disrespect, and we will thank you liberals that we are all in bondage, reduced to third world status, just as the Israelites were in Egypt.  Only Obama ain't no Moses but a Muslim and has no favor with God, and there will be no one to lead us to the Promised Land coming from the Democratic party.

Green with NAUSEA is more accurate.
.
This is excellent and paints a very accurate picture!

This is so true.  All these people are so ready and eager to kill other people's children.

I didn't notice the name of a very decorated, true war hero on that list, though:  Colin Powell, the only honest, honorable member of Bush's "team."  He's a Republican, very intelligent, reasonable, has seen the ravages of war firsthand, and didn't seem to fit in with all the other boys on Bush's team who were obviously deprived of "GI Joe" playtime hours when they were 5 years old and are trying to make up for lost time.

I think it's an accurate reflection of how most people feel.

Which is good, considering how Americans treated Vietnam vetes, which I think was deplorable.

These poor guys are fighting Bush's personal war, and they're doing the very best they can, given the fact they were sent in there so ill equipped by the government they serve.

I'm so sad today about the news that two soldiers may have been kidnapped by al Qaeda.  If that's true, I think about Nick Berg, and I shudder to wonder what the fate of these young men will be.  I'm praying that they be found, safe and alive.  They are so young.  This is so, so sad.

At the same time, I'm also angered at the fact they were placed in that position in the first place, based on nothing more than George Bush's war of lies and deceit.

Why won't anyone listen to John Murtha?  In his very first statement, he said our troops should be redeployed to the periphery.  The right wing misrepresented what he said, as usual, and called it *cutting and running,* when what he said was REDEPLOY TO THE PERIPHERY.  That's what every mother does when removing the training wheels from her child's first bicycle.  She cuts him/her loose but is still there in the background to save him/her if there's trouble.  That's what Murtha proposed.  But the neocons would rather our troops be killed or tortured.  I even read a post somewhere, along the lines of Tony Snow's *2,500 is just  number* when referring to American deaths in Iraq, citing something stupid Rush Limbaugh said regarding how many murders take place in the United States and, of course, how many abortions take place, inferring, as well, that 2,500 really isn't that high a number when you compare to murders and abortions.  I guess it's their new spin as soldiers' deaths increase, which is deplorable.

The Iraqis need to learn to defend themselves.  They can't do that if we're in their way all the time.

And don't forget:  We're fighting TWO wars at once, Iraq and Afghanistan.  Funny how we don't hear much about bin Laden these days, even though the war is still going on.  How much thinner can we spread our military?  And could we have gotten bin Laden if we had kept our focus on the people who actually attacked us?

This is just getting worse and worse and worse.  I hope our country can survive through 2008 without Bush doing much more damage to it.  I will be so relieved when he is out of office and I can finally (hopefully) feel a sense of hope for America.

cant have an economy without a healthy land
Frankly, you cant have an economy, if you have no livable land or healthy people.  First and foremost is the land and it's people and animals.  Without all of that, we will not have an economy.  Funny how other industrialized countries are signing on..you know the countries who take care of their citizens with health care, paid maternity leave, paid vacation time..The caring countries..not the capitalistic class divided society of America.  OMG, just in New Orleans now you can see who are the fortunate ones versus the unfortunate ones.  The minorities are mostly all the unfortunate ones cause they could not afford to get out of town.  They are the ones hurting and rebelling.  This is the picture of America today.  The *haves* and *have nots* and Bush continues to give to the *haves* and do nothing for the *have nots*.

I have a hard time believing anyone alive during JFK's administration could still believe that fairytale. He most definitely was not one of the greatest leaders of all time.

You might want to research what those 8000 people did with that barren land....

From PW

This small piece of land has always been barren and squalid until 1967 when after the Arabs failed in yet another imperialist attempt to destroy the Jewish state, Israel took it over. Since then 8,000 brave pioneers have resided in a portion of Gaza. They settled in on infertile beach sand and were told by everyone that nothing had ever grown there and nothing ever would. Instead, what they accomplished was an agricultural miracle. Utilizing advanced technology which they invented, they made the sand blossom and built greenhouses that produce chemical-free bug-free organic produce that is shipped around the world and renown for its incredible quality and taste.

Now if a Muslim country had taken over this land they would have expelled all the 'infidels'. But the Jewish settlers came with garlands of peace, hope and opportunity. The greenhouses they built employ Palestinians at wages far higher than they would make under any Arab dictatorship, and have forged true bonds of harmony and friendship:

Saed, a 42-year-old greenhouse worker who commutes every day from Khan Yunis, said, For me, it's a really good life. I make enough money to feed my family. I am close with my bosses, who treat me with respect. I don't want to be out of a job. Fhaud, 63, a greenhouse supervisor, said he has grown attached to his Jewish employers. I've known my boss since he was a kid and I worked for his father, he said. Some workers here have known three generations of Jewish families. I was invited to all the bar mitzvahs and weddings. Mahmoud, who works in the same greenhouse, said, I don't want the disengagement to go through. Not just because I'll lose a job, but because I'll lose friends.

So Jews and Arabs working together, turning the desert green. In a sane world we would be commending these Jewish settlers for sowing real seeds of peace. Of course, this is not a sane world, for next week all this has to be dismantled and turned over to Islamic terrorists in the name of 'peace'. For the first time in world history a country is going to forcibly remove its own people and give land over to its sworn enemies.

So now that the poor Palestinians of Gaza are to be freed from their 'occupation', are they rejoicing in their independence and making plans to plow their energies into building communities and farms and schools and infrastructure? Are they preparing to serve as a model to the world that a country under Islamic law with a fresh start and no colonial 'imperialists' can succeed? Are they ready to turn their state into a free and prosperous Palestinian country?

At a mass rally in Gaza City last Thursday, some 10,000 Palestinians danced, sang, and chanted, Today Gaza, tomorrow Jerusalem. Jamal Abu Samhadaneh, commander of Gaza's Popular Resistance Committees, announced on Sunday, We will move our cells to the West Bank and warned that The withdrawal will not be complete without the West Bank and Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority's Ahmed Qurei also asserts, Our march will stop only in Jerusalem. Meanwhile Hamas has officially announced that they will continue its war to destroy Israel by launching Qassam rockets at Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and communities in Judea and Samaria. We're sure they'll be making full use of their new seaport to import weapons and munitions to keep the carnage coming.

What's becoming clear is how the religion of Islam is addicted to war and mayhem. Not a radical minority, not a rogue sect, but its very essence is about submission and sacrifice and proving your worth by worshipping death in this life to gain a paradise of orgies and drunkenness. Their entire history is of warfare, and any accomplishments of their so-called Golden Age has been proven to be merely parasitic off the cultures they've conquered and reduced to dhimmi servitude. That every country under sharia is corrupt, belligerent, desolate and barbaric obviously gives them no pause, except to constantly drive them into further psychotic rage as they refuse to ever accept any responsibility for their conditions. They are akin to the powers in Orwell's 1984; there must always be an enemy. It's no surprise that women are treated like property in these countries as that's the only way Muslim men can feed their egos, to dominate others rather than ever actually produce something.

What a victory for these people that their terrorism has paid off, with Western intellectuals cheering them on. You can only wonder how many youth who have been brainwashed from birth in the madrassas and draped in their culture of bomb-worship and martyrdom will join the global jihad as it now appears they actually have a chance to win. While our soldiers at Guantanamo have to wear rubber gloves when handing out Korans, it's pretty reasonable for them to conclude that the West is ready to fall and the global caliphate is a real possibility. Israel's retreat from Gaza will certainly do wonders for their recruiting.

LoL! Must be changing of the guard in crasher-trasher land.

The solution is pretty simple.  If you don't like the liberal sermon, then don't attend the liberal church.

Other than that, I couldn't care less what you think.  Have a nice day.

Oh yeah, that is a qualification for the 2nd highest office in the land.
And pay off the debt the GOP created.

Obama lives in a fantasy land of his own making.
Unfortunately, he is also a gifted speaker and is leading many people down the yellow brick road to a magical make believe land. Too bad Obama can't see the big picture of anything.

Wanders the desert for 40 years before occupation of the land
now known as Israel. The palestinians which were sent into exile are in the millions. Even my Jewish friends agree that Israel is being ruthless (they have the right to protect themselves, they say. This is what they should have done before the Holocaust. Jewish guilt stems from their failure to do so, resulting in their loved ones miserable deaths).

And, the world waited for a long time during the Holocaust before acting. Where was America and England, they must have thought. Years went by and they suffered tremendously. And the strongest survived - and the Jews do remember they were ignored at their time of need by the entire world - that in itself would justify in their minds a lack of loyalty to any other country other than Israel.

Sharon said: "Israel owns America and America knows it."
Israel's "occupation" of their land is the most godly thing in the middle east.

Israel needs the help of no one.  They will always prevail because they are backed by God -- the one true God.  All those who come against the people of Israel will suffer loss.  It is not out of fear that Israel arms itself, it is out of a deep understanding of their past, present, and future revealed to them by God.  Israel is loved by God and hated by their muslim neighbors because of that fact.

There is no Palestine.  As I said before, the palestinians are squatters.  Claiming a land that never belong to them and never will be promised to them.  Their name is not on the lease!

I know my history of the region. The land of Israel is the hands of its rightful owners.

The Palestinians have been given the opportunity in 1947 when the UN granted a mandate separating the land into two states.  The palestinians rejected the mandate and launched a civil war that Israel quickly won and declared their independence.  Then in 1948 Israel was invaded by Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan which Israel one as well.  The palestinians were given their chance and decided on violence instead and they were the losers.  That's how it cookie crumbles.

In 1973 once again Israel's angry neighbors tried to invade, the Yom Kippur war.  Israel was winning that one too when a cease fire was called.  The palestinians lost fair and square.  They could peacefully have coexisted with the Israeli's but they continually reject any peaceful solution and send their suicide bombers.  Let's not forge the Oslo Peace Process in the early 1990s where Israeli government once again extended the olive branch agreeing to the PLO to form an autonomous government if they could agree to coexist with Israel and recognize Israel's right to exist.  The palestinians answer?  To laung Intifada II against the Israelis.  Once again, more violence perpetrated by the palestinians.

Finally, what about the Sharon's disengagement plan implemented in 2005?  Israeli government removed civilian and military presence from the Gaza Strip as a gesture to the palestinians so they could no longer claim that Gaza was an occupied" territory.  Even after that gesture, the palestinians have refused to recognize Israel.

The palestinians do not want peace with the Israelis.  They will settle for no less than the total annihilation of Israel as a nation which is the what the entire Arab world wants.

Then call it what it is...or call for conservation...
but don't make up a myth to try to gain control. That is what Gore is after...what all the global warming hoohah is after. They have an agenda...pure and simple. And the base fact is that a very low percentage of the greenhouse gas effect is from cars. Every time you breathe out, you contribute. Are we all going to stop breathing? Are cows going to stop belching? I have no problem with ethanol...I have used it. My husband is from Iowa...I would love it if we started using ethanol more extensively. But in previous years, Democrats (Hillary being a primary one) opposed the use of ethanol. I guess if I believed any of those people out there hawking global warming actually believed what they were saying it would be different...but I don't. The science is not there. As I said...if the real interest is conservation with the side benefit of less CO2...fine. Just say so. But as the article pointed out...if it is as bad as they say it is, you can't stop it anyway. It just does not make good sense to me.
Fine. Call if whatever you want to call it....
I will call it as I see it. I look at a totality of things. He has embraced black liberation theology which is racist and has Marxist tones for 20 years. There is no way the man went to that church for 20 years and did not know their doctrine. But, if you choose to believe that, again, fine. I do not. I believe he knows that theology backward and forward and believes it to his core. You don't have to. That is the wonderful thing about America. We can agree or disagree. On this we disagree.

Yes, I am feeling a pinch. But I don't think the government should take money from you and give it to me. I don't think they should take money from any private business and give it to me. If you think that is fair, fine. I don't. That is how socialism/Marxism takes hold. Historically it ends the same way. I don't want that for America. Perhaps you do...you want the pinch eased for you and if that means taking money from someone else that they earned, and giving it to you, who did not earn it, to you it is all good. To me it isn't.

He never has said who the $1000 checks are going to. I am thinking not every person in the whole US of A...so not only does he get to choose who he takes the money from, he gets to choose who to give it to. That would be another interesting piece of the puzzle. If he confirms to the Marxist view, it would be issuing checks to the "poor." And he gets to define who that is. You may be okay with that...me, not so much.

And by the way...have you ever researched an oil company profit margin? It is not as huge as Obama would like you to believe. But, again, he is counting on no one researching what he says. They hear free money and that's all they want to hear. Also, do you think oil companies don't employ people? You think it is one CEO at a desk in an office raking in billions? You don't think there are rank and file regular folks who work for oil companies? Whose jobs might be impacted by you and others wanting to take money away from their employers and doling it out to people who have not earned it? You think there is a chance they might have a problem with that?
I call, fax, and call again and I do campaign....
xx
Take a look at these polls.sm
Just to give you an idea, take Denver's Rocky Mountain News poll (the state is very conservative) below, and look at the results. Almost every poll I have seen shows large percentages of Americans think the same way as the theorists.

Make that alter-ego. Changing names according to post content = literary license. I'm sure you've heard of it before, being so intimately acquainted with the literary world and all. Makes things a bit more intriguing. Enables one to dial back rabid mad-dog rhetoric.

Case in point. You don't launch into your "5-paragraph volleys" unless you think you are talking to GT. As BW, I enjoy the luxury of not having to drag out an entire arsenal of put-downs just to make myself understood, since you can’t quite figure out who you are talking to. Usually I am pretty good about revealing the aliases eventually, but not always. That is another prerogative of free speech.

BTW, when you lift content and ideas from somebody else's post, it's customary to use quotes. Disciple? Shades of the gospel according to Saint Hannity. Another suggestion would be that when you plagiarize thought or content, at least be careful not to put it into responses addressed to the original author.

Yes, Congress has a lower rating than Bush. He wields a powerful weapon that empowers him to obstruct, stall and reverse any sort of viable legislative initiatives. It's called the veto pen. In this last session, he has used it 8 times but Congress has managed to override him on 4 of those vetoes. They at have at least shown more ability than Bush to cross the aisle and engage themselves in effective bipartisan initiatives and convince them to vote against their fearless leader.

You and the pubs make no excuses for being too inept at reaching consensus (a decidedly American concept). Obstruction, stalling and reversals are akin to dodges, deceive and deflections. They are the strategies used by petty dictators and their parties in a setting of “might makes right,” that divide and conquer approach, rather than taking the high road and exerting the effort or harboring the desire to create a representative government body. Bipartisanship has never been his forte anyway. No surprise there.

Polls are interesting, but not terribly reliable, given the problems that arise when you start to consider the source, sift through bias, skewing and the like. More than likely, the polls offer the most reliable reflection of public opinion would be the approval ratings of the candidates, not that status quo that is destined to be decimated come November. Most dems are just about as frustrated with the whole mess as you are. On that we can agree. But my take on approval ratings, at least in terms the current state of affairs in Congress and the executive branch, is that the low numbers reflect a much more deep-seated frustration and anger toward being lied to about the war and the incalculable costs in terms of human life as well as tax dollars, the state of the economy and the perception that nobody anywhere is doing anything, typical of a lame duck in a campaign year. The nation as a whole is in a really bad mood, to be sure. They simply don't approve of anything, at the moment.

More than likely, this will play itself with a major overhaul on both sides of the aisle. Who comes out on top in Congress in terms of numbers is anybody’s guess.

Polls are even at 42%
per a CBS poll taken on Wednesday, so this does not include Palin's speech or McCain's acceptance speech.
Polls & More

Remember, this is the party that prides itself on being "tolerant."  Yeah, sure.  How tolerant have they been of anything a conservative has to say?  This why they lie in wait here, so the few times I even bother to take the time (more like waste it) to post something, I try to make the subject line not stand out as a "right-winger" view.

This board is no better than DailyKos, HuffingtonPost, etc.  Go to those sites and see how well the libs behave. I look at this forum very seldom now after seeing what the bulk of my industry thinks and how totally nasty they behave.  They make having a cat fight look like a tea party.

While polls mean almost nothing to me, Rasmussen is a very reputable one.  Below is from Media Resarch Center (excellent; Bret Bozell, Libertarian).  Included in the article are links for a great deal of info for anyone interested.  Nasty posts, etc. mean nothing to me, so do as you please.  I've made my pitstop here for the day (or week), and see that each time I look here it's only gotten more nasty.

A new Rasmussen poll of 1,000 likely voters shows that by a
stunning five-to-one margin, Americans believe the media
are actively trying to help Barack Obama win the Presidential
Election.

The new poll comes on the heels of last week's survey that
discovered by a margin of 10 to 1, the public believes the
media are trying to hurt Republican Vice Presidential
nominee Sarah Palin.

Shockingly, Democrats and "unaffiliated" voters both believe
that journalists are attempting to help Obama.

Much has been made of Barack Obama's "lipstick on a pig" remark,
but few, if any worked harder to run cover for Democrat
Presidential hopeful more than MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, who
questioned if the comment "insults...everyone's intelligence?"

But did Matthews insult his viewers' intelligence on Monday,
when he accused Palin and Rudy Guiliani of using coded racist
language when they referred to Obama’s experience as a
"community organizer?"

Is CNN the talking parrot on the shoulder of the Democrat Party?

A closer look reveals the "best political team on television"
parroting the Democrats dismal view of the economy by mimicking
the claim that the Republicans are shying away from the issue.
In fact, in true parrot form, CNN repeated the charge at least
12 times during its September 4 coverage.

How much do you believe polls?
Yahoo had some info on the Rasumussen Polls and I went to their website to check it out: www.rasmussenreports.com

They have an electoral college page that shows the current "vote" at 248-163 in favor of Obama. I'm going to have to do some research and see how accurate polls were in previous presidential elections. They have it broken down by state and it is pretty interesting, if numbers are your thing!
