What if Obama didn't hate people like me? (sm)

I like Obama as a speaker, I think Obama is very intelligent and educated. I think Obama is very attractive. I like a lot of the ideas he has. I just cannot skirt around the issue of those he has associated with and the church he attended for 20 YEARS! I find it hard to believe he is not racist against me, a plain old white citizen. I think it doesn't matter that I have friends of all races, and that I love someone of another race. All that matters to his minister is that I am white and that makes him hate me, and if Obama didn't also hate me, and those like me, then why did he continue to attend that church and listen to the acid spewing from his minister's mouth for 20 years?   While I think it is horrible that our ancestors forced African's into slavery and treated them horribly, I didn't do it! I would never do it!  I love everyone! Why do I have to be a victim of prejudice now, just because I am white?  Why can't prejudice not exist either way?

People sucking lemons hate Obama.
Guess what...reality has already hit. Barack Obama was elected President of the United States, and he has already begun to undo some of the damage done by Georgie Porgie.

I hear there is a sale on lemons and sour grapes that you might be interested in!
The American people didn't listen to the anti Obama sentiments sm
That Ayers crapola is not applicable. All that bashing of Obama is over SOUR GRAPES BABY!!! WE WON, YES WE CAN, YES WE DID

Sheesh, you not only hate Bush, you hate PEOPLE!
x
Palin, so much to hate! I didn't see the message sm
you refer to but I will look for it. She is a caricature of a person.

I know that lot of people hate Rush, but this is his take. sm
Rush Limbaugh is reporting that phone calls to Capitol Hill arerunning 10-to-1 AGAINST the Bogus Bailout.

And I think that it is absolutely unconscionable that the people who got us into this mess are expecting us to clean up after them. I DID NOT bite on an ARM and I DID NOT buy more house than I could afford. So why do I have to pay for people who haven't got the good sense of a head of lettuce?

I say vote them all out of office and then write in "None of the Above."
I do not hate poor people!

I do, however, have a problem with people who could work but would rather live off of the government.  There are a lot of those kinds of people out there.  They could better themselves but they just won't.  The ones who can't help their situation....I have no problem helping them.  But it is the low life scum sucking weasels who just want handouts that ruin it for the people who truly need help and Obama's plans would just enable these weasels to keep being losers.

All these government plans are gonna cost money and yet Obama is supposed to give us all tax cuts.....where he is going to get that money if he if cutting all of our taxes.  who is footing the bill....huh?  Cuz I sure as sh!t know that Barry Obama isn't gonna pay for it all on his own.

Most people who hate fox news

are the same liberal nut jobs who like politicians to blow smoke up their butt and they follow blindly and willingly.  They refuse to hear any other side and yet they spew about how fox news is one-sided.  I'm sorry, but fox news is more fair than any channel or station I've seen or heard.  Middle of the road people watch Fox.  A lot more people are tuning into Fox than other stations that is for sure.  So keep up your whining, screaming, and bad mouthing.  People who have an open mind and want to see things from all sides, they watch Fox.  People who refuse to hear or see anything but what they want to....watch MSNBC, etc.

As for Glenn Beck....he does get a little extreme sometimes, but he is a libritarian.  He isn't pub or dem.  He says what he means and means what he says which is a heck of a lot more than I can say for Obama and our government right now.  They are too busy talking out of the sides of their mouths.  I don't agree with everything Glenn says, but I do believe he actually cares.  I don't agree with everything Bill O'Reilly says, but he does show things from both sides.  He isn't a pub either, FYI.  Sean Hannity.....I like his show because he gets both dems and pubs on there to talk.  He is definitely conservative and I don't agree with everything he says either, but he is a good interviewer.

The people who refuse to watch Fox are also the same ones who blame pubs for everything while refusing to believe that the dems are to blame for our current situation as well.  That is how blind they are.  They are so stuck on party politics that all they can do is point fingers at the pubs and whine and refuse to hear anything else.  Both parties are to blame.

The ratings prove everything.  More and more people are tuning into Fox.  Get a clue and stop your whining.

The only ones teaching hate are people

you continue to lie and say he is.  He is not teaching hate.  In fact, it's quite the opposite. He's showing grace and dignity and trying to bring people together, but about 20% of Americans don't want that.  They want to continue the divide that Bush started.  20% people hate Obama and they represent most of the posts on this board, day after day, whining, complaining, moaning and lying about Obama.

You would deny healthcare to people who need it.  You would deny Social Security benefits to those who worked all their lives.  As long as you have yours, you don't care about anyone else. There's a whole thread on this page devoted to hatred of gays and gay marriage.  There's also a thread devoted to a **hate crimes bill** that you all hate, as well.  Don't worry.  Hatred comes from the heart, so you're not in danger of losing any of the overflowing supply you seem to harbor.

So it's the **national day of prayer**.  There is not one person in this country who is deprived the right to pray.  Not one.  Everyone can pray regardless of their religion.  The day was intended for everyone of all faiths to come together and pray for our country to succeed.  But you don't want that.  You, Cooter and Rush and the other nut jobs out there want it to fail.  There are a lot of good people who happen to be Muslim, just as there are a lot of bad people who claim to be Christian.  There are good and bad in both. One religion is no better than any other.  They are all equal in this country.  That's what freedom of religion means.

There's probably a good reason that there isn't a **national day of government** in churches across this country.

Once again, Obama is not a Muslim and you're a sick, hateful pathetic liar.  If any harm comes to President Obama it will be from someone who hallucinates and promotes hatred just like you do.

So glad we have people against hate crimes now
and anyone who thinks they can do as the KKK did years ago will have other repercussions. People are not putting up with that crap anymore- I know you might have some "groups" who talk big but as far as the hate crimes done in the past such as lynchings, beatings, etc. and people afraid to take action and turning their heads- those hateful, terrible things that over ran our country in the past are just that, things of the past.
OMG, don't you get tired of people who didn't have the
courage to serve in their time tell us what we should think and believe about war?

Actually, I don't hate Obama....I just don't want him...
to be President, because I think it is wrong for the country. That is the great thing about America...we can all have our opinions. You can say Obama's "former" pastor if you like. I don't think on a personal level Obama has changed his feelings toward Wright or the doctrine of his church. He went there for 20 years. The man married he and his wife and baptized both of his children. He called him mentor. He wants to get elected so he publically distanced himself. I don't say that because I hate Obama. I say that because that is my impression of his actions. Frankly, I would have thought more of him if he would just have been honest about it. But he wants the job.

Haggee is not McCain's pastor and never has been. McCain has been going to North Phoenix Baptist Church for 15 years and his pastor is neither of these men. Parsley is a friend from what I understand, but neither of these men are McCain's pastor and he did not have a relationship with them like Obama had with Wright. Haggee just came out and endorsed McCain, and when McCain heard the comments he rejected the endorsement, just like Obama rejected Wright. So I suppose they are even on that score. McCain never took "advice" from Haggee, that I can find evidence of. Haggee simply publically endorsed him.

I do have some good things to say about McCain. He is third generation military and both his sons are in the military; one is in Iraq as we speak. He is a decorated war hero. His family has a history of service to this country. I believe that is a very good thing in these dangerous times. He had some issues in his personal life as a young man, did things he is ashamed of...but so did Obama. McCain cheated on his first wife and Obama did drugs and drank as a teenager. Both have been honest about that.

I also think we as Americans need to get over the blame game. Oil companies are not responsible for the mess we are in, neither are CEOs and millionaires (of which both Obama and McCain are). Yes, there have been some crooked CEOs. But you never hear about the thousands of other CEOs in the country who are NOT crooked and people act like they don't care about those other thousands. Just lump all CEOs together and say they are corrupt. Is that really fair?

Are all millionaires really to blame? The Bill Gates Foundation gives millions every year to charitable causes. So do many other millionaires. The so-called millionaries, big boys and CEOs also pay 90% of the taxes in this country already. Don't you think that is enough? If the Democrats keep on like they are, taxing American businesses into oblivion, businesses will fail, people will lose jobs and jobs will continue to go overseas. When it gets too expensive to operate in this country because of ridiculous taxes, if a business is to survive it has no choice but to offshore. That just makes economic sense. Instead of "taxing the rich" so much and driving businesses and employment offshore, they need to incentivize them to stay here. Oh...I guess that makes too much sense.

I would hate to see Obama win

when he hardly has any experience at all himself and has associations with terrorists.  Does it not bother you people that dictators WANT Obama to be our president?  Does that not concern you?  A man who says there are 57 states.  You keep harping on McCain being old and SP being a "hearbeat" away from the presidency but don't you think that there is a greater risk of an assassination attempt on Barrack Obama being that he would be the first African-American pres and there are some crazy bigots out there who would refuse to let that happen.  What then....you want Joe Biden in office.....a man who said Roosevelt was the president at the beginning of the great depression and warned people on TV when Roosevelt wasn't the pres at the beginning of the great depression and there was no TV back then.  That makes me feel all warm and cozy too.

I don't hate Obama.....sm
But in case you haven't noticed (which obviously you haven't), your boy Obama is the fear monger lately.

He's very inexperienced, and it shows day by day.

By all means, keep on counting down with the others. It will all become clearer as the days go on.

I didn't know there were so many uneducated people in the world. SM

Ever hear that phrase better to be silent and be thought intelligent than speak and remove all doubt?  You people are ignorant of history and that is what is wrong with the country.  You embarrass liberals by debating with stupidity and posting replies to an historically correct post. Please stop it.

I didn't see where Shelly has attacked people unless

they attacked her first, and then she tried to explain the first post in simple English.

This is the most I have posted on this board in the last 2 months but I just can't take all attacks against people just because they voted  for the pubs.  I said it yesterday, and I'll say it again today, STOP THE BASHING. IT DOESN'T GET YOU ANYWHERE.  All it causes is hate.

P.S. Mrs. M is the one of the worse on here. I have never seen her post before today or yesterday (didn't look at the dates). I think she's just trying to stir the pot.

Why do you hate anyone who disagrees with Obama...
and/or supports McCain? Why IS that? Why does he inspire that kind of vitriol? I am an American, just like you, I can have an opinion...I don't attack you and call you names...I don't make up cutesy little terms like McBush...I am just an AMerican, just like you, who has every right to support the candidate of MY choice. You act as if I have no right to do that, and if I do, I am your enemy. Read your words. WHY do you react that way? Do you honestly think I am your enemy??
why are you mentioning Obama - why do you hate him so much...
you have an answer for everything, and everything you do is great. good for you. I find your lack of compassion rather disturbing. you sound so cynical. I never mentioned if I am a dem or repub, but the more I hear from repubs the more turned off I am.

anytime anyone comes on here with a differing opinion other than follow the herd blindly people like you try to bully them.

this is my last post - you may have the last word.
I don't hate Barack Obama. I just don't want...
the Unites Socialist States of America, and he does. He and I fundamentally disagree on denying medical care to infants surviving abortion. I don't trust someone who has the kinds of associations he has...I think it speaks to an agenda that I don't think is healthy for America.

That being said, if John McCain was a socialist and championed infanticide and the worst thing I could find about Obama is that he cheated on his wife umpteen years ago, I would be voting for Obama. It is not the man, it is the ISSUES, MT Pockets...the ISSUES, and what I (I cannot speak for others) want for ourselves and our country, just like you do.

I don't "love" John McCain. I do admire his service and what he went through for this country. I do believe he loves his country. I can't truthfully say I believe he same for Barack Obama. Even that is no reason to hate him; he is entitled to have his opinion of America. I don't hate him.

The majority of the people didn't vote him in because of his polcies
They voted him in because he's black. Plain and simple.

BTW - I sitting here with a nice hot cup of coffee trying to warm up these icy toes of mine. Been in reality a long time. You should come join us.
Obama has friends who both hate the country and
nm
Not coming out with hate against Obama on this board? Are you serious!?
there's hate all over this board, whether it is because he is black, whether because people believe the anti-Obama stuff, or because he is a LIBERAL, oooohhh, bad boy liberal.  As for Sarah Palin, I don't hate her, I don't know her.  All I know is that she is a very poor pick for VP especially for a man who is 72.  She has no credentials to do the President's job.  Oooo, but Obama has no experience.... Well, he has been all over the world, has met with different heads of state, has been fully vetted, has lived a life that he knows different kinds/types of people, and he is very intelligent.  In all honesty, Sarah Palin does not answer one question with the intelligence that satisfies me, and she dances all around the questions she does not know how to answer.  If she isn't coached, she doesn't do very well.  When she is coached, that is her pat answer for the entire episode of questioning.  Not very smart, not good for America, McCain did not put Country First, he put McCain First.  All a political ploy, and the right fell for it hook, line and sinker.
How about the hate spewed at Obama's rallies?
xx
I dont hate Obama, but he seems like a phony.
nm
Obama Haters will hate this post.
Remember Rush I-hope-he-fails Limbaugh?

All they want is fodder to support their ridiculous claims. They don't want to hear that he is actually succeeding better than expected.
That would explain why you slam Obama, hate Clinton
nm
And I gather that's what you're hoping to happen because you hate Obama.

Conservatives believe Bush didn’t act in time because God told him to get rid of poor black people

on welfare and old people on Social Security because they cost taxpayers too much money.

A radio talk show host just said that…and I agree. They can’t admit that Bush has shown us all how he will refuse to protect Americans in a national emergency, even though he used that as a campaign promise, and that Bush doesn’t even have to care any more since he can’t be President again. I hope they can live with their collective conscience. That is if they have one. I’m starting to believe they don’t.

Why? Obama obviously didn't, he's still on

English not so good. Sad for you. So much hate. Life too short hate.
x
Oh I see....you hate small town folks, you hate Christians...
and you hate the military...you are also coming into real clear view.
Joe Biden didn't think Obama was up to the job of...
Presidency either...and you don't get any more Democrat than Joe Biden. Of course, that all changed when he got added to the ticket.

There are a few conservatives who don't like John McCain...that is no secret. He has stepped on a lot of toes in his career because he puts country first and party second. That makes as many enemies as it does friends.

And it makes him, in my opinion, just what we need. I am ready for a President who puts his country first.

As to Sarah P and her photo ops...no different than Barack and his trip to germany and Israel. He only took news outlets in the tank for him and they would not dare ask him a tough question. Let's at least be fair about this.
Obama didn't choose this man..
He had this man chosen for him and probably had to be kicked pulling and screaming to this VP pick. If you have ever watched Biden speak, he has nothing but rave reviews of McCain. Sure, he's now running against him but he didn't suddenly change his feelings about him. He hasn't towards Obama either; he's just going through the motions in hopes of getting to the White House VP slot where he can make another run in 2012.
Um, I didn't say this was about Obama. It's about timing.

Israel knows the Bush admin supports them.  They know Obama does not.  It doesn't take a genius to deduct that if they are planning any kind of attack, they would want to do it while they have the support of the U.S.  Of course there are many other factors leading up to this attack, but the timing is significant in that they are squeezing it in just before they lose the support of the U.S.

I am interested to see when Obama is going ring in on this and what side he's going to land on.  The future of our nation will be significantly affected by our support of Israel.  Obama will be tested as soon as he takes the oath.  And he is going to fail.  I'll say it again, like I said back in November --- MARK MY WORDS!

FYI, The Palestinians are squatters.  The land has always belonged to the Israelis.  They will never win.  This is a battle that has been waging for centuries and Israel always prevails.

I didn't know Obama was a reporter...(sm)

How this story was covered by either side is not the point.  Or, on second thought, maybe it is.  In case you haven't noticed, this is the kind of thing that Obama is trying to overcome - bipartisan politics.  Did I call them neocons?  Yes, because most of them are self-proclaimed neocons.  But who ended up calling Obama a nazi?  Hmmmm.

As noted in the OP, if you did not like the source provided, you could look it up through a media source that is more to your liking.  Maybe you couldn't find this story in conservative media.  Why do you think that is?

No, which is why I didn't vote for Obama....
**
Of course Obama didn't admit to that.
I heard Biden's speech - on MSNBC and then again on Fox. That was exactly what he was talking about.
Well...no, I didn't see any of the gaffes Obama made on...
Fox or Rush Limbaugh so you are "sure" wrong about that. Actually, on CNN...HARDLY a conservative outlet.

Some of Obama's "misstatements:"
Obama Gaffes on Iraq and Afghanistan
Email
Share May 13, 2008 8:27 PM

ABC News' David Wright and Sunlen Miller Report: Sporting a shiny new American flag pin at an appearance in Rush Limbaugh's hometown, Sen. Barack Obama came up with some novel reasons why the U.S. may be struggling in the war in Afghanistan.

"We don't have enough capacity right now to deal with it -- and it's not just the troops," Obama, D-Ill., told a crowd in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Obama posited -- incorrectly -- that Arabic translators deployed in Iraq are needed in Afghanistan -- forgetting, momentarily, that Afghans don't speak Arabic.

"We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then its harder for us to use them in Afghanistan," Obama said.

The vast majority of military translators in both war zones are drawn from the local population.
Naturally they speak the local language. In Iraq, that's Arabic or Kurdish. In Afghanistan, it's any of a half dozen other languages -- including Pashtu, Dari, and Farsi.

No sooner did Obama realize his mistake -- and correct himself -- but he immediately made another.

"We need agricultural specialists in Afghanistan, people who can help them develop other crops than heroin poppies, because the drug trade in Afghanistan is what is driving and financing these terrorist networks. So we need agricultural specialists," he said.

So far, so good.

"But if we are sending them to Baghdad, they're not in Afghanistan," Obama said.

Iraq has many problems, but encouraging farmers to grow food instead of opium poppies isn't one of them. In Iraq, oil fields not poppy fields are a major source of U.S. technical assistance.

My comment: Ahem. Different countries mixed up did you say about McCain? Looks like Mr. Obama has that same problem.

In June 2008, Obama Misstated The Name Of Brownsville, TX:

Obama: "So if you've got a wall that's cutting the campus of the University of Texas in Brownville in half…" (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At The NALEO Conference, Washington, DC, 6/28/08)

In June 2008, Obama Falsely Claimed His Father Served In World War II:

Obama: "My father served in World War II, and when he came home, he got the services that he needed." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At The NALEO Conference, Washington, DC, 6/28/08)

On May 23, Obama Mistakenly Says He's In "Sunshine" At Rally In Sunrise, Florida

Obama: "How's it going Sunshine? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you everybody. It's good to be in Sunshine!" (Barack Obama, Campaign Rally, Sunrise, FL, 5/23/08)

South Florida Sun-Sentinel: "It Wasn't Clear If Barack Obama Knew Exactly Where He Was Friday Afternoon …" "It wasn't clear if Barack Obama knew exactly where he was Friday afternoon when he spoke at his mass rally at the BankAtlantic Center. He repeatedly used the term 'Sunshine' as a place name rather than 'Sunrise,' the city where the arena is located, including, 'How's it going Sunshine? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you everybody. It's good to be in Sunshine.'" ("Did Obama Know Where He Was For Sunrise Rally?" South Florida Sun-Sentinel Blog, 5/24/08)

On May 16, Obama Mistakenly Says He's In Sioux City At Sioux Falls, SD Rally. Obama: "Illinois Sen. Barack Obama started his speech tonight with a gaffe. 'Thank you Sioux City,' he said, before realizing his mistake." ("Obama Starts Speech With Gaffe," Sioux Falls Argus Leader, 5/16/08)

My Comment: If you are correct and what you say reflects your intellect, then one would think Obama doesn't even know where he is half the time....?

"I think that DOMA, the Defense Against Marriage Act, was, was a (sic) unnecessary imposition on what had been the traditional rules governing marriage and how states interact on the issues of marriage." – Barack Obama, referring to the Defense Of Marriage Act (DOMA), 7/1/08

Obama Called Rapid City Grand Rapids. Obama: "We were in Grand Rapids with a—or Grand? – Rapid City. See I've been talking to long." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At A Campaign Event, Aberdeen, SC, 5/31/08)

On May 9, Obama Claimed To Have Visited 57 States. Obama: "Because, you know, it is just wonderful to be back in Oregon, and over the last 15 months we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states, I think, one left to go. One left to go, Alaska and Hawaii I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At A Campaign Event, Beaverton, OR, 5/9/08)

On May 5, Obama Called Matt Lauer "Tim" Three Times In One Interview, Had To Be Corrected By Lauer. Obama: "Well, I think what it is, Tim, is, you know, that no person is defined by a few snippets taken over the course of a number of years …Well, Tim, I think that all of us have people in our lives who may have done some good things, and then we also see them doing some things that are disappointing. … Well, Tim, first of all, it's not me who's criticized these proposals." … NBC's Matt Lauer: "I just want to say, I know you've had a very long week, and so have I. You're saying Tim. I know, it's Matt Lauer. But believe me, I completely understand." Obama: "Matt, I'm sorry." Lauer: "We've both had a long week, Senator, believe me." (NBC's "Today," 5/5/08)

My final comment: These are not all the gaffes. There are many more. Just like you could post a bunch McCain has made and every other politician who ever ran...again, it has nothing to do with their minds. People misspeak, especially people who are called upon to speak as much as Presidential candidates. But if you can manage to be fair about this...if you think McCain is weak-minded because he misspeaks, then you should say the same thing about Obama...because he misspeaks just as often. And, no offense, if people would get away from the hard left (or right) blogs and quoting hard left (or right) media and look up things for themselves...they would see that most of the things said about EITHER candidate can usually be found about the other one as well with a little research. But, of course, you have to want to know the TRUTH, whatever it is...to research BOTH sides....and, bottom line...when people misspeak, it does not indicate they have a "mind" problem...but if it DID, Obama seems to be similarly "afflicted."

And a little tidbit about Fox News....they have as many dem Fox New contributors as Repub...Howard Wolfson, Bob Beckel to name two...and many more whose names I can't remember. When they have a Repub pundit, they always have a Dem pundit with him/her. That is more than I can say for most media outlets. And for the record, I am neither Dem nor Repub...Independent.
Obama supported the bailout too didn't he?
I respect your right to vote for who you want to, but why is it whenever something negative is said about Obama it is rumor but whenever something negative is said about Mccain it is fact? Shouldn't it go both ways. I mean I'm not dumb, I know that a lot of the mudslinging on both sides is pure crap, but there is some truth to both sides.

I'm praying with you too, but I'm not praying for one candidate over another. I'm just praying that God will put the person HE wants in there and He will work in their heart to help them make the right decisions. But sometimes I fear we may have already pushed God out of our nation to much and we it may be time for the judgment on America, just like what happened to Israel.

No matter who wins, it's time to batten (right word?) down the hatches and start saving and probably start stocking up on canned food! We are in for a llloonnnggg winter!
the response didn't come from an obama supporter
If you're referring to my response to the OP about scraping the bottom of the barrel. FYI I'm voting for McCain.
You didn't watch Obama's speeches before the
He said "I will close Gitmo". All the O lovers were on here posting how wonderful that was; how glad they were to hear it. And now, you act as if you know nothihng about that? Obama wouldn't do such a thing? All he had to do was say, no, things will go forward, a trial will be had NOW, and there will be no freeze.

He didn't do that! And so it has started..

Obama didn't create this mess
I am amazed at the criticism directed at Obama regarding the current economic crisis.
1. Did he run up our huge debt with China?
2. Who blew billions on Wall Street without any oversight - Bush/Paulson - ring a bell?
3. Who gave us the stimulus checks last year that the government couldn't really afford to give?
4. Who got us into a $10 billion a month Iraq war when our allies and the UN Security Council could see that the "evidence" was total b.s.? Wasn't it McCain who said we would keep at it 100 years? How much has that and would that fiasco cost us?

I speak as a former Republican/turned independent. Both parties have sold us down the river to appeal to the interests of big multinationals interested in "free trade". How could we possibly hope to keep our economy healthy by allowing trade with people making pennies an hour? Our own profession is a microcosm of the maladies caused by the "global economy". We make far less and work much harder - finding it difficult to pay bills. It had to crash sometime.

I agree with you that this stimulus package will probably not do the trick, but to blame Obama for it is ridiculous. It would be the equivalent of having been sent in a barrel over the side of Niagara Falls, and halfway down Obama tries to figure out a way to soften the landing. He didn't put us in the situation - and maybe he can't get us out.

One thing is certain - McCain could not have done better. He would have kept us bleeding billions in Iraq that we simply do not have.

We are likely going to see runaway inflation. The government is committing itself to compounding the effects of the disaster - starting with Bush allowing Paulson to throw billions to his Wall Street buddies and the continuing effort to stave off the inevitable crash of our economy. The only way they can afford these megabillion plans is to print more money - and the money will become worth a lot less. Get ready for a $100 loaf of bread.

Didn't Obama say "NO LOBBYISTS"?
There are 12 lobbylists in his administration............but, of course, all Obama lovers will certainly defend them somehow!  They always do.
Of course it didn't in your mind...... you're an Obama
//
OMG, I hope my post didn't look like I thought Obama did it
I know he didn't. He's a very decent person and respectful and when something is wrong he'll say so (and will have words with his people if they cross the line). I wasn't sure who did it. The news said they were going to tell us who is responsible but they never did (go figure). I just think its a horrible thing to happen to anyone and DH and I were talking tonight about when did all the nasty things like this start happening. I'm sure 100 or so years ago it wasn't bad like this. I just think it's a horrible world when someone is running for an office and people think its okay to do this. How low will they go?
Obama didn't even stop campaigning to mourn
I'm with you -- it's ridiculous to think we need a moratorium on this board.
Didn't the Washington Post back Obama?

My math isn't wrong. Gov. Blago+Mrs. Blago (real estate agent, or did you forget?)+Rezko=Obama. Can I make it any clearer?

Yeah, and didn't Michelle just tell us to judge Obama on his actions? sm
They finally let her out of her box onto the Larry King show, and that's one of the things she said.
