ing - waiting patiently
To be fair, I am waitING and watchING, I have not made up my mind at all about who is the best candidate. Joe says, "talkin", "What am I talkin about?" Spirited debate about "real" issues coming up. One has to have a professional presence at all times. I want the best person representing America who is educated, honest, with a breadth and depth of experience. Why she would ever use "Joe six-pack" to represent the working people or avoid important issues, I don't know. She certainly should know better if she is going to represent my country and its future dialect with the rest of the world. Why does anyone have to go to "debate camp" to make it? Rambling idiot(s)and/or barracudas may show up tonight -- we shall see!! I hope God is in the room! I hope He is also in this room, as a high level of respect expected here as well for all of us. Our future is in His hands, and there is only ONE of Him, may we find him now.
am waiting patiently for the

bamaknockers to make reference to Barack's planned mode of transportation -- come on now, haters, getting lazy?  is it the s-o-u-l  train with Don Cornelius at the stick?

A little sugar makes lemonade....waiting patiently for
:-)
republicans have been doing it for years
got it down to an art form.
or Republicans for the 8 years before that
x
And I predict in three years the republicans will pull out their...sm
ANTI-gay and ANTI-abortion cards and run with them again, and issues like this, however important, will be overshadowed.

Any one who wants things his way or no way is not to be trusted to me. Shows that they have no respect for differing views. There's nothing wrong with being strong but open mindedness should come with the territory.
nine times..waiting..waiting..sigh..waiting

Still waiting for the NINE OTHER TIMES I HAVE CALLED YOU A BIGOT..Please post them..Otherwise you are a liar.

I'm still waiting for ONE Obama supporter on this

The news that he intentionally hid the 800K plus he donated to ACORN.  His camp has admitted to it but said it was an "oversight".....yea, right!  Obama knew what ACORN is mostly all about and he's all for that........ya know, voter fraud?!!!  I'm still waiting for someone to post a fact to refute that statement made by his own spokesperson.   Where is it?   So many underhanded, deviant, illegal characters he has contact with......this is a dem that will NOT be voting for him.

Ashes are all that's left of the shrub's scorched earth policies.
only after a platform transplant and some really new blood to resolve heir leadership crisis.
He patiently sat with O'Reilly

I don;t think he should have done that.  To pretend that Fox is actually a news outlet does the voters a disservice.  But hey, that;s the kind of guy he is.

Republicans have a lot of nerve calling Obama an elitist! (nm)
:O
For the last time, Obama was on a board with Ayers REPUBLICANS ARE STILL and
Obama's involvement was minimal and Ayers is NOT a threat to the US. After 911 were they looking at him? no.

Speak patiently, answer their questions, teach nm

We will rise up
Flash to you:  There are MANY MANY who think like me..Hurry up and hide behind your gated community, cause we are growing, more and more and more of us and rising up..The Democratic liberal ideology is the future..The Republican me-me ideology is dying..YEEHAAWW..Night to you to, sweetie..
RISE UP
i THINK WE PROVED IN THE LAST ELECTION WHO THE MANY ARE
What with the rise in the cost of living....(sm)
its hard to make it on just $169,300 a year.....ROFL...they should try working with my budget.
'The South Will Rise Again?"
Obviously you've never lived in the deep south.

The only thing folks down here are going to 'rise' is the welfare ranks.

Too stupid, too poor, and too lazy to organze a war.
Besides, the guys with all the nerve are already in Iraq.
Where are the posts..SM..still waiting....and waiting...
Still waiting.....SM..when have I ever called you a bigot..Show the proof..Bigot is not a word I throw around easily or frequently, so if there are posts here with my handle stating bigotry, I WANT TO SEE THEM..Still waiting............and waiting..........and waiting.........and waiting.........where are the posts?  Show them or forever been labeled a neocon liar..
Whatever it is, I'm against it, but seriously 4 years of Obama could not be any

any worse than what GB has done.  Everything has been so republican dominated and everything sucks.  As an independent, I feel more inclined to go with something new because a vice president nominee who comes out and tells millions of Americans she wants more power - what the heck does that mean?  I hear nothing about what she means by that or what it would mean for Americans.  I also do not know what 'country first' means because how does that fit with the constitution exactly.  I would like an explanation of that.  Does wallstreet follow 'country first', do rich CEOs follow 'country first'  sounds like a bunch of more garbage rhetoric.

I am also sick of the DSA, divided states of America.  This is getting ridiculous.

Report: 50% rise in violent hate groups

Southern Poverty Law Center: 50% rise in violent hate groups

David Edwards and Muriel Kane
Published: Wednesday April 15, 2009

A new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which tracks the activities of violent hate groups in the United States, has found an alarming rise in the number of such groups, from 602 in 2000 to 926 in 2008.

This comes on the heels of a controversial report on "violent extremism" from the Department of Homeland Security, which has outraged many conservatives by seeming to lump them in with extremists.

Morris Dees, the founder of the SPLC, told CBS's Harry Smith on Wednesday that he believes the two reports do "synch up pretty much" and that "the report from the Department of Homeland Security should be taken very seriously."

However, the SPLC's own report focuses very narrowly on groups which actively preach violence, including neo-Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan, and the "racist skinhead subculture." It also notes the surprising rise of "anti-Semitic black separatists calling for death to Jews on bustling street corners in several East Coast cities."

"A key 2008 hate group trend was the increasing militancy of the extremist fringe of the Hebrew Israelite movement," the report states, "whose adherents believe that Jews are creatures of the devil and that whites deserve death or slavery. These radical black supremacists have no love for Barack Obama, calling him a 'house nigger' and a puppet of Israel. They preach to inner-city blacks that evil Jews are solely responsible for the recession."

Dees told Smith, "The political climate, the election of Obama, the immigration issues ... and now, especially, the economy is almost causing a resurgence of what we saw in the days of Timothy McVeigh, almost a militia movement that's being reborn. ... I think that an American person is much more likely to be harmed by a domestic terrorist extremist group than by one from abroad."

Dees also emphasized that many extremist groups are recruiting Iraq veterans and even active-duty members of the military because of their expertise with arms and explosives. "It's a serious issue," he stated, "especially with a lot of these guys coming back with post-traumatic stress syndrome, coming back to a failing economy, the inability to buy a home and get a job and get credit."

This video is from CBS's The Early Show, broadcast Apr. 15, 2009.

Obama went to a racist church for 20 years...
and then, when it became detrimental to his drive to the Presidency, threw his pastor of 20 years and self-described mentor under the bus. And this inspires you that he is some kind of messiah-like figure interested in truth, justice, and the American way? You really believe that...with his history? Or do you even know his history...and better than that...even care about it?
Republicans favor giving poor families subsidies to afford private schools. Obama opposed.
Yet Obama sends his daughters to a private school, 29,000 for EACH KID. Hypocrisy, here we come. Geesh, not even in office yet.
Yup, the Real Republican Party will rise again....new blood is definitely needed, that's for sure

Fears of Brutal Outcome In Iran Conflict Rise

More at the below link:

"Reporters Without Borders said 20 journalists were arrested over the past week. The BBC said today that its Tehran-based correspondent, Jon Leyne, had been asked to leave the country. The BBC said its office remained open.

Today, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki held a news conference where he rebuked Britain, France and Germany for raising questions about reports of voting irregularities in hardline Mr Ahmadinejad's re-election - a proclaimed victory which has touched off Iran's most serious internal conflict since the revolution.

Mr Mottaki accused France of taking "treacherous and unjust approaches". But he saved his most pointed criticism for Britain, raising a litany of historical grievances and accusing the country of flying intelligence agents into Iran before the election to interfere with the vote. The election, he insisted, was a "very transparent competition".

That drew an indignant response from Foreign Secretary David Miliband, who "categorically" denied Britain was meddling. "This can only damage Iran's standing in the eyes of the world," Mr Miliband said.

An eerie calm settled over the streets of Tehran today as state media reported at least 10 more deaths in post-election unrest and said authorities arrested the daughter and four other relatives of ex-President Hashemi Rafsanjani, one of Iran's most powerful men.

The reports brought the official death toll for a week of boisterous confrontations to at least 17. State television inside Iran said 10 were killed and 100 injured in clashes yesterday between demonstrators and black-clad police wielding truncheons, tear gas and water cannons. "

Yeah those nasty old rich. Well, after 4 years of Obama...
there certainly won't be those anymore...except those closest to him, and you won't be a bit better off than you are right now. And when the rich aren't there anymore, who is going to pay for your health care then? You might want to have a contingency plan, because if Obama doesn't have the rich to tax anymore, how is HE going to pay for your health care? Another thing to think about...they will all move to Europe before they allow him to bleed them dry. Survival of the fittest. Where do you think you will fall in that food chain?

Just asking.
Exactly. And Barack Obama attended a racist church for 20 years....
and did a fine job of tolerating it. I suppose he is included in that it should not be tolerated by anyone ever? He would still be tolerating it had it not become a campaign issue. Just a fact.
Obama attended only 4 years a school in Jakarata, Indonesia,
from the 1st to the 4th grade. And this was a Catholic school.
At age 11 his mother brought him back to Honolulu, Hawai, where he attended the most prestigious school.

His biological father and stepfather were Muslims, his mother was Catholic.
Obama was never a practicing Muslim. Among his friends were also Muslim friend.
When he marreid Michelle in 1992, he converted to Christianity.
I think our President is a Christian.
For this you have to wait at least 3 years and 8 months , maybe 7 years and 8 mohths...nm
nm
Not quite- 2 years Catholic, 2 years Muslim. NM

The waiting

Waiting

Still waiting...

but you said Michelle Obama does not talk like a black woman?  Again, how do black women talk?

waiting for it.....waiting....waiting...
when is this supposed to break for all of us to know about?
Sure and I'm waiting for it just like you.

Problem is, it ain't gonna happen. There's no magic wand. There are too many things in a heckofamess and nobody can fix it. It will take years and as long as the government keeps in-fighting, it will be the same old, same old, just like it's been for the past 20 years or so.

Still waiting...........
I'm stll waiting for all those Obama lovers who said yes, Obama WOULD make all those wonderful tax cuts for us, to stand up and admit he's a joke! He LIED, plain and simple. Of course, we told them he would not make these tax cuts but oh no, their precious Obama would NEVER lie. Now, they'll say it's the economy. He knew the economy was slowing when he kept making those promises. Sorry, you can't use the economy as an excuse. Of course, Obama knows if he DID make those tax cuts for those he promised it to, he would then be a REPUBLICAN! ROFL!
I'm waiting..... sm
Okay, I do agree with you on some points. This is what I see...

I used to be a democrat and I used to be a republican and I used to be an independent, and I used to be a green party/constitutional party. What I see is this...the whole thing is a mess, all over. Plenty of blame to go around. What I see is, Obama inherited one big huge fat mess. No way to disprove that. Its fact (IMHO). I'm not blaming Obama for any of this and I believe he wants to do what is best and try and pull the country up. With that said....he doesn't "run the country". He is not the grand pubah in charge making decisions, he just gets to tell the American people in a nice and calming way "your screwed". He has a way about him that he can say your screwed and the country will be fine with it. Just the way it is and I am thankful we have a leader who is a calming reassurance to the people. However, with that said...congress/house (don't know which it is), just all those politicians that stand up and make decisions and vote on issues. Those are the people I blame, and last I knew we have had a democratic congress for that last two years. I will no way blame everything on just the dems because the pubs had a fair share in it too. But it's time to stop blaming everything on the pubs because they were not in charge of making all the decisions. They were not in charge of the FM/FM crisis. How long has Pelosi been in? Reid? Dodd? Franks? Conyers? and yes I can think of pubs too but those are the first ones that come to mind and who are on the top of the decision making tree. I take offense (well not really offense, but it is unfair and one-sided) for people to post obviously far left or far right media-wh@re articles blaming all those rich white ugly republicans when they don't take any of the blame themselves. There's enough blame to go around and for every far left article theres a far right one too.

I will stand by what I say...the republicans don't need anything to bring down the dems. They are doing a fine job of it and approval ratings are falling like a lead weight.
Waiting must be something
that happens on the coasts in really high-population areas.  Here in 'flyover country' (the midwest) I've never waited more than a week for a mammo appointment and 3 days for the followup ultrasound when the  mammo found a cyst.  And I've gone through the followup ultrasound routine three times now.
I keep waiting and waiting for

the free stuff to start flowing to me, but I am simply not being stimulated by any of this.  Is there an application I can fill out...or something?

I keep waiting and waiting for

the free stuff to start flowing to me, but I am simply not being stimulated by any of this.  Still got a house payment.  Still buying my own gasoline.  Grocery store still charging me the regular rate for food.  Is there an application I have to fill out for all the freebies...or something?

I'm waiting on the answer to this one too. sm
That's the problem with SOME bible thumpers. They make things up as they go.
Still waiting..where is the post?
Still waiting....tick-tock..tick-tock..still waiting..where, pray tell, is the post where I said ALL republicans are liars?  Still waiting..sigh..
Still waiting, Carla. ???

They are waiting in the wind for the day...sm
to bring the Lords of the Talking Loud and Saying Nothing back full swing.

This was a good read.
Won't be waiting around for your standard

How many reporters were waiting for
Iraq/Afghanistan? How many liberal reporters followed O around Europe, putting him on a pedestal for the whole world? Biased reporting, not even a doubt. JM & SP still rising above it. Maybe there is something to this Christianity thing after all. I suspect that a lot of us uneducated, unscientific, believers in creationism, simple-minded people who know what our future holds, are praying for them daily.
What is it that you're waiting for him to say?
nm
I am waiting for your answer...
Here is the question again.

Keith Olbermann is a graduate of Cornell University...and you are a graduate of what?

Why are you afraid to answer this question?
We are still waiting for one pub to articulate
nm
We are still waiting for that source

I'm waiting........big talker
