Weren't you the one crying and whining

about how dare CA take away the rights they had given to gay people and how it shouldn't have been voted on and blah blah blah.  You even brought up women's right to vote and how about we overturn that....blah blah blah.  Now you want to take away the benefits that marriage has always had just because gay people want everything equal.  I do believe that you were one of the ones that said it wasn't fair for gays to have to settle for civil unions and how dare I suggest such a thing.

Honestly....I'd agree to this just to shut you people up because I'm so sick to death of hearing about gay rights and poor gay people.....blah blah blah.  Once again....I guess the Bible thumpers that you hate so much will do the compromising and once again give up something of ours to make you happy.  Feel better now?

This is the man's name, for crying out
driven into the ground. He said it himself, he got the name from a man who, evidently, never thought he would be running for president some day! Can't you be big enough to let it go?
i'm not crying
i only wanted cherry kool-aid

you're the one getting mean and upset
For crying out loud!

it's a FAMILY.  There are two little girls who were promised a puppy a long time ago by their parents -- win or lose -- after the election to reward them for tolerating the rigors of the campaign for such a long time.

One of the daughters is allergic, so that limits the breeds from which they can choose, and he said their first preference was to get a shelter dog, "a mutt like me," but because of the allergy, they might not be able to do that.

They're a normal family, and I think they're a beautiful family.  Why would any other family in the United States give a pet to their children?  Hopefully, the puppy's personality will match President-Elect Obama's and be even tempered and friendly, as opposed to the current White House canine that, unfortunately, reflects its owner's personality and bit a reporter the other day.

I personally believe this man has the capacity to be the best President in United States history.  All he needs is a chance, but when people get so petty as to criticize his decision to give his daughters a PUPPY, then it's clear that some people simply won't ever give him a chance, and that's so, so sad.

And these are the WINNERS crying
Cripes, what would the Dems have done had they LOST!

Who was crying tears?
You are the most ridiculous person on here.  It cracks me up when you even try to make a point.  I really just feel sorry for you.  You are so determined to SHOVE your views in others face and so desperate sounding all the time.  Everyday you try so hard to show those Republicans where they went wrong.  This isn't a debate for you, this is some kind of life mission and it is just sad that this is all you have.  We are just sick of your frenzied wild posts that aren't well thought out.   Knock if off.  You are ruining what should be a place to discuss topics with your GET THE REPUBLICANS midlife crisis you are having.
The fact that an article was written does not make it fact. I hope you know that. nm
.
really, what am i whining about?
if it was about anything it would be about how unbelievably CHILDISH you really are.
I may be everything you call me, but PHONEY is not one of them. I'm as real as they come, which is why I'm not afraid to stand up to your lame attempts at silencing me and anyone else who doesn't agree with your point of view. It's really pathetic that you want to cut down anyone else that doesn't agree with you. People are able to disagree, until someone like you steps in and can only start throwing insults out. if my opinion makes me "self righteous", so be it. but dont EVER call me phoney, it just shows that BS flows freely from your mouth
Oh for crying out loud on a crutch!!!!
One can't win for losing!  I've already said I'm a hillbilly, born and bred, so if you think I'm ridiculing anyone then consider I am ridiculing myself!!!!  Get over being so hung-up on Sara Palin, will ya??  Not everything revolves around her.
Oh for crying out loud on a crutch!
I am NOT a Democrat.  I am capable of independent thinking for myself thank you very much.
Huh? It's the Daily Show for crying out
It was funny. Or are they not allowed to make fun of Fox, CNN, and MSNBC?
It's all so much hypocritical whining.
Gee, how much did we wish that people would just lay off a little and let Clinton's private matters stay private for the sake of his family and the nation as a whole.

But NOOOOO, that wouldn't do, would it? The avid glee in exposing his most painful and regrettable bad judgment was the talk of Bushtown, they just HAD to smear it in all our faces and stuff it down our throats ad nauseum - no mercy there, no letting up, no quarter. Vultures.

Now look how they act when people speculate about a former alcoholic and coke blower possibly returning to the habit/s during a time of extreme stress - which is not even a ridculous thing to contemplate, God knows we all know someone who has been caught in this trap. If this is the case it's unfortunate for him, but the point is, it really DOES vitally affect our nation if it's true.

I'm afraid the right handed away its right to credibility on calling for compassion for the personal dignity of the chief executive. You had a chance to show some when the matter DIDN'T affect our nation's security, and you simply blew it big time.

In any case I think it's safe to say that should Bush be tipping a few, he's going to get far better treatment from sympathetic Americans both Republican AND Democrat than his predecessor did for his particular indulgences.
You're the one who's whining.......
WAH! Get over your self-righteous, phoney self.
Nope, she's definitely whining...(sm)

Here's what I see.  SP gave all of what, 2 or 3 interviews on major networks other than Fox.  She fouled those up, not because she was bad at interviews, but because of a serious lack of knowledge.  She has yet to give an accurate description of the role of the VP, by the way (did she have 3 tries at that one?).  The only other time you saw SP on TV was either on Fox where they just sang Kumbaya or at a rally calling Obama a terrorist.  Keep in mind that at the time she was pretty much unknown, so if people wanted to form an opinion of her, she didn't give them much to work with.  If she wanted so desparately to show the country her *grit* then why didn't she do more interviews?  Oh, and by the way, all reporters bone up before big interviews, and to be quite honest the questions posed to SP looked like a 3rd grader quiz compared to the questions Biden dealt with.  Meanwhile, Obama not only showed up on Fox but did a 3 part special with O'Reilly.  Biden appeared on Fox as well.  In fact, they were both all over the place giving interviews, including the internet.  What would you have said about Obama if the only network he had shown up on was MSNBC?

The bottom line is, if she plans on being in national politics, she needs to be able to at least handle mainstream media.  If she can't do that (and it's painfully obvious she can't) then how in the world do you think she would be able to handle leaders of other countries, much less anything else?

Thank you...nice to have a second voice crying out in the wilderness...
just put on your kevlar and come right on in. :)
Oh for crying out loud on a cripple's crutch!!!!
Can you not READ?  Did I not post the issues......whatever they're called.... along with the date of the vote?  Check it out for yourself.  The voting record is good enough for me but you rabid pubs wouldn't believe anything against John McCain if God Himself came down and wrote it on the end of your nose.
Oh for crying out loud on a cripple's crutch!!!!
lighten up.  I would never make light of Jesus and I take hearty exception to your even suggesting such a thing.  I do believe I was replying to someone who (I hope) posted a tongue-in-cheek statement that I might be the next messiah.  I am IMPRESSED BY NO ONE.
This is really funny, mostly because the left is whining about ...
some of the illegals might be terrorists so we have to stop it all now and you are certainly in a state that has it's share of illegals but none of them are terrorists now.  My head is spinning.  You guys need to get your stories straight.  No one knows where the terrorists will come and they won't care what your political leanings are or that you know judo or whatever you know and have a big dog.  They aren't going to ask you any questions, and if they did, you wouldn't be able to understand what they were saying.  There is no fear in being prepared.  But all the pansy butt left who think the terrorists can be reasoned with will get a real wakeup call.  And you will be doing what every other gun hating leftist does when they are attacked by someone with a gun.  Call a cop to come with his gun and save you.  Hypocrits.
Ah, quit your whining, you're just a know-nothing
God help us, PK, this is the best response we can elicit. I can hear them already. I guess it's easier to just DENY, DENY, DENY and swiftboat than face the truth. Where,exactly, does the proverbial buck stop? javascript:editor_insertHTML('text','');

I take back the whining remark. sm
I will replace it with pitiful.
Be a big girl and stop whining already
Yeah, I guess in your eyes gays and lesbians should just sit back and be content with being the second-class citizens you would like them to be.
At some point we do have to quit whining
and do something for ourselves.  Perpetual victimhood is not healthy.
Do you think these guys would be crying for John Kerry's daughters to go if he had won?
Somehow, I seriously doubt it.
For crying out loud. His target group IS workers
are so low that they come up not owing tax at the end of the year, then it would not be possible to give them a tax cut or a tax credit, unless it is a refundable tax credit. So far, you have not provided any evidence that Obama is proposing a REFUNDABLE tax credit. As a matter of fact, why do you supposed he call this tax credit "Making WORK pay." The credit will zero out at zero tax liability unless it is a refundable tax credit. Again, it seems like you cannot produce any evidence that this is the case. Or can you? What about the socialist question with regard to progressive tax reform proposals only being socialist at Obama's hands, an no other president in history since 1913, including the 7 republicans who raise the top income bracket rates to as high as 63% to 94%, as opposed to Obama, whose intent is to restore that rate back to 39.6% as it was in 2000 when Bush took office?
Then why are you whining...er...posting, if you have more important things to do....nm

Gee...they left out the Mayor of Detroit whining for money. What's up with that? sm
Detroit is just one of many with their hands out to the feds. Detroit has been a drain on the rest of Michigan for years. The best thing that can happen to Detroit is to cut it loose and float it up the St. Lawrence Seaway and then the rest of the state can get back to business...if there is any left that is.

The 1st amendment protects the speech you don't want to hear, not just the speech you want to hear.

You don't want to hear my dissenting opinion, but thank you, U.S. forefathers and subsequent soldiers, for protecting my right to say it to you.
I don't want to hear YOUR holier-than-thou bible thumping rants, but you have every right to say it to me, and I'm not going to tell you that you can't.

Who says I don't care... I am simply saying
that the rich are not evil, which you seem to paint them as.  In fact, a lot of philanthropy comes from the rich.  College scholarships, donations, etc.  We are not all the same and we cannot all be the same and we never will be the same.  How about instead of pity for those less fortunate, let's encourage them to be self-sufficient?  This is the LAND OF OPPORTUNITY and there will always be a segment of society who will not pull themselves up in spite of all the opportunities available.  I can't spend a lot of time worrying about that because it futile.
Well perhaps we are simply misunderstood
like this:

We look forward to hearing your vision, so we can more better do our job. That's what I'm telling you. —George W. Bush, Gulfport, Miss., Sept. 20, 2005

Wow! Brazil is big. —George W. Bush, after being shown a map of Brazil by Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brasilia, Brazil,

If it were to rain a lot, there is concern from the Army Corps of Engineers that the levees might break. And so, therefore, we're cautious about encouraging people to return at this moment of history. —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Sept. 19, 2005

The relations with, uhh — Europe are important relations, and they've, uhh — because, we do share values. And, they're universal values, they're not American values or, you know — European values, they're universal values. And those values — uhh — being universal, ought to be applied everywhere. —George W. Bush, at a press conference with European Union dignitaries, Washington, D.C., June 20, 2005

I can only speak to myself. —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 28, 2005

It's in our country's interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way. —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 28, 2005

After all, Europe is America's closest ally. —George W. Bush, Mainz, Germany, Feb. 23, 2005

I'm also mindful that man should never try to put words in God's mouth. I mean, we should never ascribe natural disasters or anything else to God. We are in no way, shape, or form should a human being, play God. —George W. Bush, ABC's 20/20, Washington D.C., Jan. 14, 2005

I want to appreciate those of you who wear our nation's uniform for your sacrifice. —George W. Bush, Jacksonville, Fla.

That's one of many things that make this kind of stupidity forum domination. Grownups back off and let their children throw tantrums sometimes. Go ahead. Let her rip. I'm outta here for now, but not for long.
I am simply saying that I think it is funny

that they listed that as a point for her foreign experience.  Yes, I saw the first one and it should be listed.  I just don't have a clue why they would list that as a point for it.  Though, it is clearly a Republican or anti-Obama site so it would, just as the Democrat, anti-Republican sites would do something equally as ridiculous.

I also try to not bash either side, unless I am provoked .  I do think you can oppose one side and keep it level-headed.  When people start completely bashing and name-calling, etc., it kind of throws all credibility out the window for me.

you are simply wrong.

Posting over and over and over does not make something true.  Case in point - Iran was involved in the 911 attack.  It has been 7 years, and SP is still saying that lie.

I have a hectic and stressful enough life as it is, as many MTs do.  I don't know anything about the other issue. I use to go to MTDaily and there was always trouble there with the ISP thing and their own prejudice.  So I don't go there anymore.  I suggest that might be an option for you if you feel the way you do.

This is simply a matter of color.
This man has gotten off the hook answering the tough questions because everyone is trying to be so PC; we don't want to upset the black man or the black community. WHo cares? He's running for President. If being black keeps him from answering the hard questions, why the heck do I want him running my country.

Racism is alive and well in this country.
Simply curious about the motive.

I accused nobody of anything. I simply stated that
a triple digit IQ, i.e., intelligence quotient, as in intelligent leadership, would be good for the country for a change, the implication being we have not had that until now. If it speaks stupid, thinks stupid, looks stupid and acts stupid, chances are it is, well, stupid.

I do not spend any time on sites that speculate about widely varying IQ scores for either party's candidates, since that type of data can only produce subjective conclusions. I also do not pursue illogical arguments that in one breath give Obama's SAT/LSAT scores and in the next, accuse him of hiding that information. For me, SAT scores and IQ are 2 mutually exclusive concepts unless and until someone can produce a resource that can convince me otherwise.

I made a simple statement in response to Bushisms which any self-respecting American would find embarrassing and not worthy of the highest office in the land. That statement was construed as some sort of accusation in a reply from somebody who felt the need to defend Bush. I answered that by further discussion of Bush's stupidity, not his IQ. I was not focused on the number, rather the lack of intelligence.

Therefore, I feel no need to defend my position nor excuse myself for not conducting exhaustive research in defense of somebody else's ideas and number hang-ups.

I want smart leadership. Sue me.
Simply not true... FOXISM nm
